A quick fun-to-read sports-related romance between a single super dad, his five-year old son and their new nanny. Nothing out of the ordinary in a story such as this. The characters were a delightful team -- a NFL player, an adorable little boy and his dog, Trash, and a blonde-haired nanny with secrets she hasn't shared.

A cute meet-greet on the side of the road, a trip to the dog shelter, along with lots of laughter and heated chemistry keeps this one on the scoreboard.

I’m going to give this story three stars mostly because I’m a sucker for the happily ever after and this one’s raised my mood to a happier place as I finished reading it. Or maybe it’s because I just finished reading Crazy for Loving You by Pippa Grant from the Bluewater Billionaires series and I so loved that book that comparing only the second book by a new author to possibly the best work by one of my favorite contemporary romance authors seems an unfair standard to hold her to? Whatever the ...more

Y'all this is like all the best worlds coming together hello Hot single dad who is also a famous football player. This book was fun to read I truly enjoyed getting to know Jessie and Elliot throw in a adorable Asher and it gets even better. I didnt read book 1 but had no problem with book 2. Jessie hiding her truth from Elliot is rough and you keep cheering her own hoping she will but she doesn't. Between his career as a running back and being a single father to his son Asher, Eric has his hands full. He knows that he needs to hire a nanny but finding the right fit for both him and his son has been a challenge and he certainly didn’t expect to find the perfect person stuck on the side of the road with a flat tire.

As a teenager Jessica turned her back on the life she was leading and has created a new one for herself where she has found happiness even if it can be a financial struggle. Bein

Elliot and Jessica’s love story in Slow Ride by Breezie Bennett, book two in her South Florida Riders series, was a wonderful, sexy, and enjoyable tale. Take one hot and sexy running back in need of a nanny and give him a waitress who was trying to hide from her past. Elliot might be a rich, sexy, single dad, but his main priority was his five-year old son, Asher. Elliot needed someone who could help shy Asher come out of his shell and who treat him as a normal kid; no rich, spoiled brats please ...more

Slow Ride is the Second book in the South Florida Riders Series. While it's part of a series, this can definitely be read as a standalone book.

This new author writes like someone who has been writing for a long time. Loved the interactions of the main characters, as well as some of the interactions from characters introduced in the first book (but like I mentioned above - you do not need to have read the first book in order to read this one).

Slow Ride is a cute story about Elliot, a sexy single dad professional football player, his adorable, precocious, extraordinarily shy son Asher, and a feisty heroine, Jessie. Elliot is having trouble finding a nanny for Asher because he is so timid around other people. When he’s rushing to practice, Elliot stops to help a girl with a flat tire and is so surprised that Asher actually speaks to her that he spontaneously offers her a job as the nanny. (He also notices her attractive curves and sexy ...more

Slow Ride is the second book in the South Florida Riders series from Breezie Bennett, and I have to say I loved it even more than the first book. Seriously, sexy single dad football player who will do anything for his son?!?! I'm all in!!!

I wanted Elliot's story from the moment we met him in Wild Ride. I love he always puts his son Asher at the top of his priority list. Elliot is super protective of his son and needs just the right person to be a live in nanny after his former one moves away to

Breezie Bennett has once again proved that she is an AMAZING storyteller! I had the privilege of reading an ARC of Slow Ride by Breezie Bennett for an honest review. I can honestly say that Slow Ride is an extremely sexy and sentimental rom-com. I could not put it down, it was a true page turner, and I loved every minute of it. I never knew how sexy the single-dad troupe could be. Elliott Danes is one hot, sexy, swoon-worthy dad and NFL running back in Breezie Bennett’s second novel, Slow Ride. Elliott has a 5yr old son, Asher. Asher is the sweetest and shyest little man. By chance Elliott and Asher meet Jessica while she is having car trouble. Amazingly, Jessica makes a connection with Asher that no one else has. Elliott recognizes that he must capitalize on that connection, so he hires Jessica to be Asher’s nanny. Th ...more

Who doesn’t love a sexy, sweet NFL player that is an amazing single father? Seriously? Who? Because let me tell you this girl is a complete sucker for that so it ain’t me. Breezie Bennett brings allllllll the swoon with Slow Ride! Heat, sweet, humor and heartfelt emotion all packed into one adorable story that you can’t help but fall in love with.
Elliot is the most swoon worthy single dad ever. The guy takes sweet to a whole new level with how much he loves his son, then goes and cranks that up

This is the second in Ms. Bennett’s South Florida Riders series. However, it completely stands alone.

Elliot Danes is the most popular Rider. He is “the dad”, a single parent, and everyone just loves how devoted he is to his 5-year-old son. The running back is important to the Rider’s game, but he is adamant that his son comes before his career. Then his nanny, an older woman, plans to quit and go back home to be with family. He needs a nanny immediately. The problem is that Asher is painfully sh

Breezie Bennett is an exciting new author who has written the second book in her South Florida Riders Series, “Slow Ride.” We met Elliott in her debut novel and I immediately had a soft spot for the hunky, single father and I wondered what lucky woman would catch his eye and warm his heart. Elliott is such a great father and his son is his pride and joy. I love how Elliott uses “life lessons” to teach Asher about the world because it shows how compassionate and down to earth he is. He doesn’t le ...more

New author Breezie Bennett has hit her stride with her new book “Slow Ride.” I was hooked by the end of chapter one and was enthralled with the story from there on. Slow Ride is about a professional football player, Elliot, who has a young son he is raising alone. In need of a nanny, he meets Jessica who clicks with his young son, Asher. Jessica has a way about her that brings out the shy Asher that no one else can do, so she is hired. But Jessica has a secret and every time she wants to tell El ...more

I liked but not loved. The dad was speeding and child called him on it. Lol

Elliot was a good dad otherwise but there was insta-love...he really didn't know her.
Then he promised not to fire her and well, the communication was poor. Still not sure about the "hell" she left in Newport??

All other setting and bits of football... adequate.

Slow Ride, the second book in Breezie Bennett's outstanding new South Florida Riders series, did NOT disappoint. Faaar from it. In fact, I probably buzzed through it even faster than Wild Ride and was just thinking to myself the whole time: My god, she did it AGAIN. Again!! (You go, Breezie! I'm your biggest new fan 💕)

Slow Ride is the second installment in the South Florida Riders Series written by Breezie Bennett, a new author who writes in the same manner as that of an experienced writer.

So Sweet

Elliott has been on the Nanny search for his son Asher. Sweet, shy Asher who is the poster boy for shy kids. It's the first day of practice and he's running late. Asher needs to get to school and he needs to get to the facility with the rest of the Riders. Asher spots her before Elliot does. A golden haired goddess on the side of the rode changing her tire. This was a great second book in the South Florida Riders series. I really enjoyed Elliot, Jessica, Maria and of course how could you not fall in love with Asher and Trash. The story was great with the developing relationship with not only Elliot and Jessica but Jessica and Asher as well. I liked how Jessica helped Asher gain more confidence and come out of his shell. I have to say I wasn’t a fan when Jessica’s parents made their appearance, but I do think in the end that it’s time they all put t ...more

I have a new favorite book with Slow Ride! Seriously, who doesn't love a single dad romance! Elliot's relationship with little Asher was so adorable. Jessie didn't stand a chance with the duo. Jessie and Elliot together were on fire!

I am liking how the single guys on the team are finding their HEA even if they don't know they are looking for something permanent. Elliot is all about his son and football. No time for anything else. In a chance meeting, he meets Jessica. When his overly shy son takes an instant liking to Jessica, he knows she has to be Asher's new nanny. Even if he is attracted to her, Asher comes first. As they try not to act on the attraction, they become closer. But, Jessica has a secret that could tear the ...more

This is the second novel by newcomer Breezie Bennett. Much like her debut novel this is an enjoyable sexy read with relatable and endearing characters. I loved the father-son relationship where Elliot does his best to set a good example for his son. Inspirational. Jessica’s riches to rags story was reminiscent of the Gilmore Girls storyline. I would have liked a bit more insight of her relationship with her parents. That part was left unresolved for me. I am looking forward to future works from ...more
