Charting the Sacred Journey Spiritual Tarot will take you far beyond traditional Tarot card glimpses of the future, and into the deepest recesses of your own mind. Using the three major Tarot decks -- Rider-Waite, Aquarian, and Morgan Greer -- you'll be guided on a breathtaking journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening. Like an interactive "picture book" of life experience the cards will help you
I honestly don’t know why more Tarot readers don’t know about this book. If you’re looking for a general book on meanings, this is probably not for you but if you really want to journey deep on each card then absolutely for you. This book changed my relationship to the cards and deepened the processes/journeys they represent.
Truly a classic! It should be sold with the Smith Waite, Morgan Greer and Aquarian Tarot as the most comprehensive 'one-and-done' book for every tarot beginner. Don't bother building an unnecessary library unless that's your pleasure - this is all you need to get reading easily and effectively. I can't comprehend why it isn't as popular was 78 Degrees - this is far more accessible and easier to dip in and out of. You won't regret the purchase.
I ordered this book after watching a DVD of little consequence entitled TAROT: Intuition & the Living Image: A Jungian Approach by Jennifer Sieck, M.A. It is currently out of print and I've just received my second hand copy from the States thanks to Amazon UK Marketplace vendors. I immediately had quick dips into various chapters for a taster (as I do with all and every single book I open for the first time)and I can't wait to use this with my Tarot work. Jennifer Sieck was absolutely right in highly recommending this book in the sort of the 'Desert Island' category
I've been reading tarot for over 10 years, but I like to use a tarot book to supplement my own knowledge and intuition while interpreting a spread. This is the absolute best book I've come across for this. Buy this book and use it with your favorite deck (and in conjunction with your deck's book, if it has one) and it will bring a startling new depth to your readings. Highly recommended.
I truly appreciated the tone of this book, which encourages personal and spiritual growth. However, I was looking for something with more information on the symbolism of the cards, and I found the information on that subject to be average.
