"Love yourself just enough to
Give yourself another chance at everything;
Fear not the breaking, for
That is where flowers grow."

The first reason why I picked up Ease was because I had already read Unlocked Silences and frankly, I simply adored it. It is, till date, one of my favourite books. So when I started with this, I had some high hopes. All of those shattered by the time I was halfway through this one. Maybe it happened because I had some

Ease is like a Sunflower to me. That helps lit you from within when your clouds seem dull and gloomy. The author has just effortlessly handled the words in these varied poems to calm and rejuvenate your mind. In this book along with the Mukhpreets's collection of poems, a few different writer's poems culminate in as well, that talks about the art of self-love, healing and embracing the acceptance.

And this book urges you to emerge out for the quest of self-evaluation to try to identify oneself.

We are songs of yesteryears and are stories by sunset bonfires.

We are musings of pen and paper, we are poetry in journals of leather;

We are hymns and songs of unsung victories,

My dear, we are celebrations for tonight, and for eternities.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the fantastic-minimalistic cover of the book, it's gets the reader straight into poetry mood!

A book that will help you unwind and accept yourself, be yourself. Ease is a collection of poetry and prose which are inspirational & motivational.

The book promotes the idea of being comfortable in your own skin and talks about self love, acceptance and healing which makes it a must read for everyone.

In the world of social media, we tend to be very harsh on ourselves, compare our lives with others, we keep finding flaws in our life and forget that 'you are all you could ask for.' This book

It’s a collection of poetry. I completed this book in a single sitting, so I will keep my reviews short. The poems are based on various concepts. And there are few other contributors also. I liked the topics chosen and content definitely. I think the narration style could have been better. Like in my mother tongue, there are lots of grammatical rules for poem writers, like rhyming words, decorations added in sentences, number of letters and words in a sentences etc etc. that was bit missing . ...more

Before I begin, I convey my heartfelt gratitude to the author for giving me yet another opportunity, this time to review his second book. It is no less than an honour for me to be one of the first readers of his latest anthology of poems. The book also includes works by a handful of collaborators, in the form of writings and sketches.

Ease is a collection of introspective and spiritual poems, which explore the concepts of self-love, hope and faith. While this book can be viewed as a continuation

I had read the poet’s previous work Unlocked Silences some time ago and had quite liked his writing style. It had come out in 2018 and was widely accepted. I remember finishing it in one day, as I devoured the words one by one. I put page flags on almost every page and it is only perhaps due to the absence of flags right now that I did not do the same thing to Ease.
In Unlocked Silences, the author had focused a lot on spirituality and the individual. This has continued in Ease and being of a

'Ease' the title of the book is in itself has so much to say.
Why self is the most important thing?

Self is important because this is your life. If you are happy, confident in yourself, you are going to make others happy which will brighten your day. It is you who will change your life and lead a successful one. Changes within you will bring changes in the outer World. So believe in yourself and be grateful

Poetry is not mere words, they are the profound combination of experiences and emotions compiled vehemently to express one's state of mind. There is a saying that one could write extreme degree of poems only when one has faced that particular phase in his own life. I completely agree with this. Just imagine how could you pen down your immense exhilaration or deep resentment unless you yourself have gone through that. I think writing poetry is more difficult than writing a story, the reason being ...more

Mukhpreet Khurana along with many writers created a piece of art that focuses on Self-love and allows us to indulge in it with all we have and come out as a whole new person with self-acceptance and self-allowance. It has both, micro and macro poems; each poem encounters a different element of self-love.

'Ease' introduces us to an infinite pool of Self-Love and forces us to open up to an abundant self-acceptance and healing.

The title ‘Ease’ is perfect, and the cover gives the same vibe. Language

This book is the happy pill we all need. Ease is a book full of poems speaking truth. The poems are all about self-love and loving the life that has been gifted to us. The poems are mostly short and written beautifully using simple words. I love how the author has emphasised the fact that we need to accept our faults too. The author wrote about embracing our vulnerabilities too. A person is both good and bad. I loved the poem 'decorations' talks about having both heaven and hell inside us.

There are books that keep you on the edge of your seat, and then there are the ones who enjoy while you sit back, relax and unwind with. This one is like the latter. ‘Ease’ is a collection of prose and poetry that is food for the soul and medicine to the brain.
Let’s start off with the title, which is every bit as fitting to the content of the book; it makes you comfortable within your own self. The cover is quite simple, but again, completely in line with the text. What you expect the book to be

Ease, by Mukhpreet Khurana, is a collection of short poems, primarily revolving around the central themes of self-love, faith, hope and introspection. It makes you love yourself a little more and learn a little more about yourself with each page that you turn.

Khurana teaches you to celebrate life with his new anthology. While his previous poetic collection, Unlocked Silences, dealt with life and death, this one teaches you to live life to the fullest. Khurana's unfiltered poems tell you to value

PLOT: This book is an awesome collection of poetry which will make you dive deep into the self, a place of acknowledgement, of appreciation and of a celebration our individuality. This particular poetry book loosely revolves around the theme "comfortable in my own skin" or "accepting yourself" with the power of self love, self healing, gratitude and greater good. Ease is a journey, each one of us must pursue atleast once as the poet starts it with 'Celebrations' and ended with 'As I write'.

Ease, by Mukhpreet Khurana, is a beautiful collection of short poems and prose which take us through hope, introspection, that leap of hope and faith. It makes us understand self love better and brings us that ray of joy and happiness.

The poet marvellously places the entire concept of celebrating life with his new anthology. All the poems are very well crafted and unfiltered with a little essence of phases of life and the different moods and expressions we all experience.

Ease is a poetry collection that contains all sorts of poems based on self-help and self-love; just the kind of book that I needed to read. As the title says, it is a journey within oneself.

The book is not plain and bland, in terms of the quality of poems and the entire book, in general. There are doodles and aesthetics all through the book that completely relate with the subject of each poem.

Talking about the poems, I couldn't figure which one was the best because all the poems were beautiful

Ease, as the name states, is full of highly connectable writings based on being easy with yourself and steering undivided attention towards your own being.
Talking about the language, it is quite serene and has a profound effect on the readers. Personally, I felt so uplifted and delightful while reading it that I read it really slow and let every poem just sink in.
The poems are collaborated efforts of various authors, which adds well to the grace and beauty of this book.
