It is hard to believe it is possible, but this book is better than the last. Mac and Bernie move closer in their relationship. I enjoyed reading about Buster and Rowena. The sad part is the town losing a friend. The best part is some news Bernie receives. I hope there are more books in the series!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Address for Murder by Tonya Kappes is the second A Mail Carrier Cozy Mystery. It can be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading Stamped Out first (it is such a charming book). Tonya Kappes has given us another engaging cozy mystery. Bernadette Butler is fifty years old and a widow who lives in a farmhouse outside town with her cat, Rowena. Bernadette is a kind woman who cares about her friends, family and those on her postal route. If someone is ill, she takes them chicken soup. Bernadette ...more

In this second book of the series we find out just what a great person Bernadette really is. She takes care to check on her elderly customers while making her way along her route, especially during the colder months. When walking her route one day she notices one of her customers dog out and running loose. After catching the dog she takes him back home and she sees that something isn't quite right. The door has been left open, she decides to enter and check on things. When she gets inside she ...more

I absolutely LOVED this book!
Address for Murder is Book number two in the Mail Carrier Cozy Mystery Series.
Tonya Kappes has done it again with an incredible mystery, setting and characters.

I really love the protagonist Bernadette Butler, aka Bernie. Not to mention all the fun characters in the wonderful town of Sugar Gap Creek .

Bernie takes care of everyone and I think thats why she is so relateable. As the town's mail carrier, she is always checking on her elderly neighbors. This is how she

Bernadette “Bernie” Butler has an agreement with her long, long-time BFF Iris Peabody to not share when she gets one of her “feelings.” She’s not psychic, it’s just a feeling, and her track record is more miss than hit. When they were younger several misunderstandings occurred because of misinterpreting one of Iris’s “feelings. But, ten years ago the “feeling” she got about Bernadette’s husband Richard turned out to be

Address for a murder is the second instalment in the Mail Carrier Mystery Series by Tonya Kappes. I loved returning to Sugar Creek Gap Kentucky and finding out what’s been happening with Bernadette, Mac, the Front Porch Ladies and we can’t forget Rowena.

Sugar Creek Gap's residents are being primed by Carla Ramby, president of the beautification committee, to clean up the town for a shot to earn a reward in the Make Kentucky Colorful spring campaign.

ADDRESS FOR MURDER, the second book in the Mail Carrier Cozy Mystery Series, is even better than the first book, STAMPED OUT. I already feel like I’ve made good friends in Sugar Creek Gap, Kentucky. I particularly like that mail carrier Bernadette is, at fifty years old, a bit older than the typical cozy mystery protagonist. She genuinely cares about the people on her mail route, and it feels natural for her to step into investigative mode to find out who killed Lee. The killer was easy

Bernadette Butler does her best to be good to all of the people on her route. Especially the elderly ones. While the town is getting ready to look its best in a contest for the best looking city. Carla Ramey (the head of the beautification committee) is up in arms over one resident refusing to cooperate.

We are getting to know everyone more in this book. Bernadette wants to solve Lee's murder. He was a grouch of a person but she still liked him and he liked her. He also deserves to have his murder solved. Mac wants to move his relationship further but something gets in the way. Good things are happening for Bernadette in this book she just needs to solve this murder first. This was a good mystery as you have 3 suspects but you need to figure out which one, why and how. I liked the characters and the story in the first book, but I like this second one better. Bernie and her friends are on a new case. This time it is a neighbor to the front porch ladies. He is a curmudgeon, but he and Bernie have always gotten along. When she finds his body, there are several suspects and she has to figure out who murdered him. He also left her everything, including his dog. So glad to see Bernie and Mac getting closer.

I really enjoyed Address For Murder! I love the characters. Bernie is so interesting and I really liked the addition of Buster. There are great character developments and relationships in this book. I love the small town setting and all the discoveries that Bernie makes as she continues her job as a mail carrier. The mystery is interesting and had many twists that kept you guessing. This book is so fun
to read. I look forward to more in the series!

Wow! Loved this book! Lots of twists and turns with a surprise ending! I really like the main character. She’s in mid-life, a widow looking to have a full life. Being a mail carrier she runs into a lot of colorful folks. And she likes to solve mysteries with a group of elderly ladies. She has a lot of changes to her life in this book. Can’t wait for the next one!

Bernie - Mail carrier magnet for murder. Got to love that!
Tonya Kappes has done it again with this gem. Wonderful characters in a charming town and a great mystery with an end I didn't see coming. Lots of funny parts, some sad, and plenty of friendship, family, and warmth. This series is one of my most favorites.

Welcome to Sugar Creek Gap where the sweet tea flows like liquid sugar and murder seems to pop up in the most unlikely places. Bernadette, Bernie to her friends and neighbors is on a mission-to figure out who killed her customer and friend. Even if it means a broken heart. She's changed herself once for a man, and she's not doing it again!

This is the second book to the A Mail Carrier Cozy Mystery series and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! The plot and the characters grew in this story and

This is the second book in Tonya Kappes new mail carrier series. I like Bernie a lot. She is 50, a single parent to an adult son and works as a mail carrier in a small town. Her husband is deceased. He cheated on her throughout the marriage. I think that alone complicates things for Bernie. She has a male friend but it has been hard for her to move on. If your thinking this is a cozy, right? Yes, it is. But it does have a romance storyline that has been as strong, in my opinion, as the ...more

With everyone doing everything they can to improve the looks of the town for a contest, it doesn't take much to sense who's going to be the victim. With many people having a beef with the person, there are several suspects with motives, if not opportunity. Bernie (the protagonist) is feeling a little down when it comes to her relationship, or lack of, and decides to keep her mind busy solving the case, especially since she was one of the few people who actually liked the victim. Address For Murder was everything I am looking for in a cozy mystery: great characters, warm friendships, an idyllic location, a hint of romance, and a well-written mystery.
Bernadette Butler is a smart, charming, and relatable main character. Her job as a mail carrier gives her entree into the lives and businesses of Sugar Creek Gap, Kentucky. She especially enjoys the friendships she has built with the older residents. It is these friendships she draws on to figure out who killed an elderly man

This is the latest installment in this newest series in the cozy mystery genre. Never a spoiler in my reviews, but here's what you need to know: Wonderful small-town setting where everyone knows everyone else, the 'porch ladies' who can't seem to help themselves when it comes to NOT minding their own business, a little bit of romance between a couple of characters with tons of history, and of course the main character (a mail carrier) who just seems to fall over dead bodies.
