DEAREST CLEMENTINE is a collection of short stories featuring out-of-the-ordinary romance. Meaning, this work has a unique take on romance, where the protagonists are the opposite of what we're used to. Monsters, actually. Monsters with big hearts. Letters to "Dearest Clementine" are intertwined in between the stories--a clever conduct to move and relate the tales together.

Overall, a great, out-of-the-ordinary horror-romance short story collection!

This is easily my favorite compilation by the author, despite it being a mix of short stories. I adored, ADORED the varied cast of characters, the challenges they were facing and the way it all played out. All told with an underlying desperation by a man seeking out his bethroed, this short story collection will have you hooked from start to finish!

I loved this collection. I’ve never read a collection like this before. A story wrapped inside several stories. Dorin is trying to find his beloved and in the mean time he’s leaving a trail of stories behind.

Romance and horror at its best—who knew they belonged together?

I beta read this and LOVED it! Each story is so unique! My favorite part is all of the letters between stories which ties everything together while also telling a story of their own.

This collection of stories is dark, romantic and a little creepy, then wrapped up or connected by letters to Clementine. It was such a creative and unique way of writing a book of short stories!! Each story grabbed and pulled you in right away, then kept your interest throughout. I loved and enjoyed them all, but I definitely had my favorites. Probably my two favorites are, LAUGHTER IS ALWAYS BETTER and WRONG IS POSSIBLY RIGHT. I also really enjoyed the Dear Clementine letters!!! I relished this ...more

I spend my days consumed by words and hoping to one day find my own DeLorean time machine. My life consists of avoiding migraines, admiring Bonsai trees, watching classic movies, and living with my husband and daughter in Texas—where it can be forty degrees one day and eighty the next!
