It is different from the typical self-help books in that it embraces religious practices and beliefs, along with the usual ways of other motivational techniques. I liked some of the insights that were new to me, like how to not create anger in the first place, instead of blasting everything and everyone in a rage or instead of seething quietly and keeping the hurt and anger inside to a boiling point, both of which are bad for good health and good relations. What the book said about having positive attitudes no matter what, because it is not always helpful or feasible or possible to control others' actions, but it is possible, with will and practice, to control one's own behaviour and way of thinking in any situation, it's true and supported by many of the great minds of the world.
I would recommend this book to anyone having trouble with finding a good way to lessen tension and anger or manage their thinking or attitude or coping with the negativity around them.
