Whilst I was quite excited to read this book considering the talk around how close the writers were to the city dressing room I was bitterly disappointed with the content and insights that were shared. Fantastic insight into pep and co, lots of interesting anecdotes about the players and their lives. A nice reminder they are all human

Good read for any city fan and worth reading as soon as you can for timeliness. Not a huge surprise after reading this that city are struggling after the loss of Arteta and Torrent.

Not what I expected

I expected a book covering much more about Pep’s leadership and details about how city built a winning team. There are some of that but half the book is just commentating on games they played.

This was great, and very insightful, but I had to dock a star due to some editorial errors. Still highly recommended, but just keep that in mind when reading.
