Now reunited after an eight-year separation, Junya Sawa, a young bank executive, and Uzuki Kobayakawa, heir to a yakuza gang leader, have resumed their relationship in Tokyo. After betraying Uzuki's trust when they were teenagers, Junya swears never to make the same mistake again. Unknown to them both, however, shadowy forces are at work in the Koryu Alliance, the yakuza gang run by Uzuki's father. When Junya is kidnapped, will Uzuki be able to save him?
Not a strong plot, but ok and entertaining. All the yakuza action was towards the very end and even that was a bit weak. Art work was nice, but had to laugh at the last drawing where all of Junya’s facial injuries had disappeared.
Six months after Junya and Uzuki truly got back together, they were still juggling their lives in two different worlds, boinking each other crazy every chance they got, then Uzuki's world clashed into Junya's in an unexpected way.
Plot wise, it's weaker here than the first book. I still didn't feel the Yakuza world that much except from what Junya thought looking at his lover - and it mostly focused on look and wardrobes; the "crisis" was mediocre at best - I was hoping for more bloodbath than these; the sex got overblown. Despite the though guy act Junya showed, I thought he turned wishy-washy.
...and I'm disappointed there's no much Iwatsuki appearance here. Oh well...
