A.M. Myers lives in Cody, Wyoming – a little town about an hour away from Yellowstone National Park – with her husband and their two boys. She has been writing for most of her life and even had a poem nationally published in the sixth grade but the idea of writing an entire book always seemed so daunting until a certain story got stuck in her head and wouldn’t leave her alone until she started typing. Now, she can’t imagine a time when she won’t be letting all of the stories in her head spill out onto paper.
A.M. Myers writes emotional, gripping romantic suspense novels that will leave you swooning and hanging off the edge of your seat from start until finish. When she is not writing, you can usually find her up in the mountains with her boys, camping, fishing and taking photos of the beautiful landscape she is lucky enough to call home.

I can't even explain how nervous I was starting this new book.
I was a nerve rack because of the way the previous book ended... Oh boy... I knew that I was into a treat.
A.M. Myers is the bomb, and the books that I've read just came to reinforce it.
Have you read the Bayou Devils MC series?
Guys, you must. I'm about to start book 8 and I couldn't be happier.
Her writing is raw and wild, intense and suspenseful as well as hot as hell.
Wicked Games is the eighth book from the Bayou Devils MC and explores the lives of Travis aka Streak and Rowan.
Travis is one of the brothers and a genius behind a computer.
You think of something and he will find it.
He's the only single guy from the Bayou Devils and he's pissed due to all the love in the air.
That's shi...  is not for him, he does not need or want a relationship.
His focus is to help his brothers find the guy that's threatening his club.
Rowan had her fair share of failed relationships. She doesn't need nor want a guy, especially after catching her current boyfriend with another woman.
After the death of her mother, and this betrayal, she decided to go live near her brother.
One drunken night and...
Finally, I got all the answers to the questions that swirled in my mind for so long...
Dayum what a journey...
Amazing plot, very well written, super engaging, and intense.
Each chapter was even more addictive than the latest and I couldn't stop reading.
No matter what was happening around me, I couldn't put this book down.
As I said, I had so many questions and when I started getting answers I needed to keep reading.
This book is so freaking intense and dark that it was hard to catch my breath.
Scene after scene, battle after battle, it was a rush.
These two were perfect for each other and you will be able to feel their connection.
There were parts of the book that I wanted to slap someone silly, jeez but then things got a turn and I was melting.
This book presented us with crime, madness, punishment, darkness, craziness as well as love, loyalty, desire, and friendship.
I'm sad that this series is over, but I'm so glad for the chance to read it.
Hot stuff alert... Oh boy... It made me blush.
It was an amazing and bumpy journey and I didn't want it in any other way.
A breathtaking series A.M. perfect and I need more from these guys.
Will we have more?

Wicked Games by A.M. Myers is the eighth book in the Bayou Devils MC. The book focuses on the characters Travis Broussard and Rowan Archer. Rowan has been going through life in a funk since her mother died. On going home one night she finds her long-term boyfriend sleeping with someone from work, with nothing else to do, she decides to drive across country to go and stay with her brother in Baton Rouge. One drunken night her and Travis decide to get together but keep it strictly about sex….alas that doesn’t happen and sparks fly as the two of them try and balance having a semi-relationship as well as fending off a killer who seems to have it in for the MC as well as Travis.

Rowan was a great character. Even though she had all of these bad things happen to her, she kept plodding along even with her sadness. She was really good at putting Travis in his place and not putting up with any of his rubbish when it came to relationships.

Travis was also a good character. He does come across as alpha but also geeky in the sense that he is good with computers and what to do with them. Having been burnt in the past he is skeptical when it comes to love and especially knowing that there is a killer on his tail who seems to be targeting him and his beloved MC.

There is a lot of twist and turns in the book and it would probably be best if you read this book in order as there were parts of the story-line I didn’t get or understand what had happened previously. But saying that, this was still an enjoyable, suspenseful and sexy MC read. It has actually intrigued me into wanting to read the beginning of the series so that I can get to know the characters more who popped up in this book. The fact that there are a few story-lines in this book kept me wanting to turn the pages as we found out more about Travis and Rowan as well as what the killers motives were.

If you like your MC’s hot, with strong and sassy women, alpha males and a lot fo suspense then this is the one for you!

ARC received for a fair, honest and sometimes long review 😊

Travis

He's the last man standing without a women in the club but that might be changing since meeting Rowan Kodak sister. But trouble is chasing the club and it's hitting close to home. Great addition to the series.

Fabulous end to a fantastic series!! Finally the answers to who is terrorizing the club are answered in spectacular fashion! Travis (Streak) is the only single Bayou Devils member and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on his story. He is a whiz with computers and is trying to solve who is tormenting the club. Rowan moves into town to be closer to her brother, Kodiak, and they can’t keep their hands off of each other. They were just looking for a one off, a fun time but it turns into something more. Will Streak be off the market for good or will he break Rowan’s heart like everyone else in her past has done? I’m really sad to see this series come to an end🥺 but it did go out with a bang!!

The taller they stand the harder they fall. Streak cracks me up when he's around all the others. He can't stand the all his brothers falling in live and having babies. Until Rowan, even then he is still fighting the inevitable. Rowan is a strong woman but she has self doubts like anyone. Together they make a great team. Trying to stay alive and figure out the man behind the mask is becoming a daily task for them all. This book is filled with humor, sassy, love, mystery, terror, heartache, friendship, brotherhood and of course hot sexy alpha men doing what they do best.

Wicked Games by A.M. Myers a winning five-star read. This is the eighth and final novel in the Bayou Devils series (do read the others first as you will get the best experience) and wow it certainly goes out with a bang, I can’t wait to see how the next generation will rise from the flames like a phoenix. This one broke me, I was so eager to hear Streaks story, but I understood why he didn’t feel like he could fall in love, and I am leaving it there as I don’t want to say nothing more, as you need to read his story to hear it in his own words. Hearing the story in their own words was so much fun, getting three POV this time, well that just added an extra layer of crazy, crazy drama and crazy fun, it really helped you pull it all together. Rowan has her own secrets, but she soon understands that the Devils are family and you don’t need to keep them with family, I loved how Tate pulled her under her wing, as just because your sister in laws doesn’t mean you will automatically get on (believe me I know first-hand). This is a compelling and thrilling series and it needs to be read to be understood, now I eagerly await the next generation of little leather jackets to grace our pages.

Finally it’s over. And while it could’ve been better, it wasn’t bad.

I liked Rowan and Travis and how easy it was for them. Yeah, they kept saying it was casual but despite Rowan freaking out about her feelings and hearing Travis’ out of context statement, there was little drama between them. Travis adapted well and didn’t question how much he wanted to be with Rowan. And it was sweet.

What I found lacking in this book was the fact that there was no good closure with what happened with “Warren” - the clubhouse isn’t mentioned, the hidden cameras, the website and deep fakes, the whole city being against the club - none of it is mentioned to tell us how the club recovered or if the terrorist charges were dropped. I guess we just assume, but that’s why there was no real closure.
Then there is the fact that at the end of Wyatt and Piper’s book pretty much all the women are pregnant except Ali. And in this book, except for Tate, there is no mention of those pregnancies. And for Piper’s “bachelorette” party we learn that “most of the woman got drunk.” Uhhh how is that okay if most of them were also pregnant!? It’s like the author forgot what she was writing. Incredibly sloppy and really ruins the whole picture that was being painted of all these babies being born into the club.
Then I still don’t get how the club didn’t add more security to their clubhouse. Why keep it the same when Warren has already broken in. Wouldn’t you get more cameras, motion detectors, better fencing? Why would you allow a crazy murderer to have easy access again? It makes no sense. It shouldn’t have been so easy but it didn’t seem like the club did anything to beef up security, they just all hid at the compound.
And then there’s Rooster. Other than his lazy perimeter check, he’s never mentioned again. So the author just forgot about him?

And in this book it ends with a “oops I ran out of time” message so get the epilogue online. I guess that’s why all of these books are just not great. The stories have promise but the execution is so poor it ends up making these book suck more than they should.
Not sure if I’ll continue reading from this author. I suppose since I’ve read all of her books in this series for free, I might take a chance with another if it’s also free. But this author could benefit from more careful editing as there are typos, and just taking the time to truly develop the story well.

Do Not, I repeat. Do. Not. Do what I did and join the Devils at the very end. If you haven't read the rest of this series Do. It. Now!
If you have read them, carry on...

Aside from unknowingly joining this series at the very end, I'm not sure how this book on it's own made me feel. Honestly, even though I received an ARC and was informed it's a stand-alone, I can tell you, reading this book without the others left me lost and confused. I felt there was so much information I needed that I just didn't have.

The characters themselves also had good and bad points;

Travis had all the Alpha tendencies and when things got bad he took all of that onto himself, shouldering a burden that wasn't all his. I loved his protective streak, I liked his bad attitude, what I didn't like was his inability to fully confide in his "brothers"

Rowan was broken from the minute she stepped into Baton Rouge, driving so far across the country to take her brother Kodiak/Lincoln up on his offer to move. I loved how fierce Rowan was, she took absolute no shit from Travis, I liked her realtionship with her sisters in-law, what I didn't like about Rowan was her inability to be completely upfront. Instead of letting people in she pushed them away potentially causing more drama in an already stressful situation by not being upfront.

Don't get me wrong, she did the right thing telling Kodiak about her relationship with Streak, but not telling him why she was there even after she said she would grated on my nerves. Or not confronting Travis about things could have ended badly for the brotherhood he shared with Lincoln resulting in chaos inside the club as well as outside it.

I actually liked Travis as a whole, Rowan however, I could do with or without. 🤔

The outside threat to the club was written from it's own point of view, which is something I love seeing from time to time. It gives the book a sense of mystery, of what could come.

Like I said though, my review isn't your typical review. I'm sorry for that, however, it's simply because I came in at the end of the series and have no/very little back story of how we got to this point.

Ummm what the heck ending was that? Did the author run out time?? It was the most anticlimactic ending I’ve ever read. It was long draw out then in like 10 pages it’s over. Epilogue doesn’t wrap anything up from the story just normal marry me and I’m pregnant which seems to be th theme in this series.

I did like the heroine in this one though.

And I liked the hero also- they were a good match.

However. This guys is supposed to be a tech genius but didn’t even find the website or posts going up? Let alone look into all things connected to the women? I mean they were looking at exes but didn’t think to look at all the women’s exes including Emma’s? And given I haven’t read that series that was all lost on me.

I can’t even work out how he couldn’t find hidden cameras or mics. Do they not sweep the clubhouse? He knew there were devices in there but because he was told to not repeat the phone calls he said nothing? To his brotherhood? Wrote a bloody post-it FFS.

I struggle to understand how the clubhouse was not secure yet Emma and Nix was. All MC clubhouses in other stories are the most secure compound yet these guys had people popping in unannounced, no cameras, no patrols. What in the ever loving shit show MC is this?

And no patrols? So this guy cuts a whole in the fence and no one ever notices. No one patrolling the clubhouse. What happened to that prospect Rooster?

The miscommunication with Rowan overhearing him on the phone was just unnecessary. There was enough going on without adding that shit into the mix.

The shame of it all is that I did t mind this authors writing style. But this series is full of plot holes and excessive drama when it’s not needed and loooong arse books spent focusing on minute details. It would have been better to have shorter books and more punchy plots.

This book was the most frustrating to read, most likely b/c the man trying to destroy the MC played such a significant role. But I gotta say, he made Streak and the club look stupid. I don't know if that was AMM's intent, but that's how it came across. I feel like Warren gave Streak so many clues that he ignored, and I wanted to slap Streak upside the head at least five times!

I also didn't like the fact everyone was okay with Streak sleeping with Kodiak's baby sister and no one thought it was a big deal? I mean, Streak is so anti-relationship and he doesn't respect Kodiak enough to be up front about it and have a conversation with him? Sure, they're both consenting adults, but as protective as Kodiak was about Rowan, I expected a little more honesty and integrity from Streak and Rowan. I lost respect for both of them for this.

Also, the summary said Streak pushed Rowan away to save her, but he never did. For a man so anti-commitment, he didn't put up any resistance at all to being with Rowan. It was her, in fact, who pushed Streak away b/c of something she overheard him tell Warren, and then Rowan wouldn't explain herself when Streak kept pushing for an explanation of why she was being so cold and distant.

OH, and the worst part????...The club had been trying to find this guy for months, and Rowan takes one look at his name and immediately thinks it's an anagram for another name b/c of the spelling of his last name??? That totally ruined it for me. I also didn't get closure on the hidden cameras Warren had inside the clubhouse, or how the MC was going to restore their reputation with the city.

All in all, still a good read, but my least favorite of this series.

This is the finale that the series deserves!

My second book from AM Myers, and oh holy hell, I can’t rave enough about the quality or the style of A.M. Myers’ writing, except to say, if you like suspense and MC reads of the honourable kind, then this book, hell, this series is most definitely for you!!!!!

This time it is Travis Broussard, or Streak’s turn to have his story told, and I just loved Streak’s character; I really did. He was honourable, gorgeous and deep thinking. And because the enemy was silent and invisible, it had turned into a tech war, and nobody carried as much responsibility on their shoulders as he put on himself. I needed him to have his HEA.

Rowan is perfect for him. She is Lincoln’s sister and I loved seeing Lincoln all protective of both Rowan and Tate, even though Tate’s bad-@rsery has the other men in the club watching their backs. She is a hoot, and is the best kind of sister-in-law to Rowan, who has a kind of bad-@rse side herself. Travis and Rowan might try to keep the hot sex on the DL, but it seems that they’re not as secret as they thought.

The things with their stalker-tormentor come to a head, and it’s hard for even a tech genius to figure out what he is up to when he’s been playing the game for a lot longer than any of them have realised. His pieces have been on the board for a very long time. When he develops an obsession with Rowan, the pressure on Streak ramps considerably.

Even to the end, A.M. Myers kept me guessing, as Streak still has a lot to lose and the hints, I was getting both intrigued me and broke my heart because, what if, after everything, Rowan doesn’t like he is hiding?

Ms. Myers is now one of my must-click authors, and I will be looking into her backlist because her writing is nothing short of AMAZING!! You have to read this series! 5 Stars!!!!!

Wow…Epic Showdown & Conclusion

This is one of the best endings to an epic and powerful journey for the Bayou Devils MC Series. This is an wild ride and everything that has been building through all 7 books leads to this epic showdown between the MC and Warren!

This is where all the pieces are organized and begin to unravel. This fear and violence has been building throughout this showdown and many more lives are lost and heartache is rampant throughout the MC family. It’s a cruel game that Warren has been playing and their is a happy ending but it takes some rough waters to get to it but it’s worth the wait. This final story also involves Rowan ( Kodiak’s sister) & Travis (Streak) and who they were destined to be together no matter who threatens their love. Their story is emotional and tragic at times but their commitment and dedication to each other wins over everything. You will love their story and their dedication to each other radiates off the page. Streak never believed in love or that he was worthy of it but Rowan has shown him that’s not true. You will devour this story and the closure for the MC was worth the wait.

Don’t fret A.M. Myers has created a second generation stories and you will love watching and reading about some of our favorite pop in characters from this series get their own HEA. Happy Reading!!

Travis (Streak) and his Princess Rowan

I absolutely LOVED Streak from the very 1st book in this series. I knew that under the jokes and smart-aleck ways was a young man with a horrible past. Once we learn about what he suffered through as a kid, your heart really goes out to him. He has dedicated his skills and himself to being there for his MC brothers and their women to make sure that they're all safe. He is determined to stay single and only have physical connections with women because he feels like he can't love anyone because of his past. Then we meet Rowan, Kodiak's baby sister. She has been going through a rough patch since the death of her mom and then issues with her bf. She decides to leave her home in Alaska and go to Louisiana to be with her brother and his family. The first night she's there, she sees Streak sitting across the room, as soon as they lock eyes with each other they seem to instantly form a connection. They have a lot of hurdles and a big brother to overcome but eventually they get their HEA. Can't wait to see what happens next with Detective Diego Rodriguez and Izzy as well as the rest of the second generation of Royal Devils. I hope the rest of the books will be released soon since they all have release dates that have passed already?!

I liked this book so much I almost loved it. This one gained back the quality I loved about Myers books that was starting to get lost in the last 2 or 3 ones which is the well rounded out plot and twists. The last ones had a very quickened ends and lack of complexity that was starting to bug me a little. This one gained it back even though the epilogue came later.
I loved the characters but the only grip I still have is how simply DUMB the men of this club are. Every single time they had a meeting, no ideas were found. Streak was so intent on catching the psycho but had no idea what to do. I mean, and he is supposed to be a genius? What? And don’t even get me started on the security nightmare that is the club house. It’s worse that Hogwarts at this point. Crazy. The guy broke in and no new security measures were taken? No perimeter check? The guy had a whole on the wall for 2 years. Wtf? Anyway. That’s my only problem. I can’t find it believable sometimes. How so many experienced guys can be so lax about their security. Going to the store or mall with just one guy? And the prez no less? No back up? And the whole parking lot ordeal. Just pitiful how Blaze dismissed Streak going armed. How they just left Tate, pregnant Tate, alone with a threat still active out there. Like what? I could go on and on…

Great Book and series

This is book 8 of the series and you have to read them in order to understand the storyline and characters.
Ok I’m going to start with I hated what happened to Blaze and don’t think it was necessary for the story.
I also think this game with the bad guy went on a bit too long and the torture of Travis also went on too long.
Also what has happened with Samson now everything has ended??
Let’s get to our two main characters Travis (Streak) and Rowan (Kodiak’s baby sister).
I loved getting to know Travis more as he was always a moody but good character in the rest of the books.
I thought for sure Kodiak was going to beat him to a pulp when he found out Travis was with Rowan. I wish Rowan would have told Travis what she heard on the phone call so they could clear the air.
Their romance was a bumpy one with lots of obstacles and people trying to pull them apart but they got there in the end.
It was good to know his story and why he feels he never deserved happiness and that’s a pretty traumatic life he grew up in.
I loved the ending where even though they are together and happy Travis still has his doubts about the man Rowan needs but I love her fierceness in telling him straight about the good man that he is.
Let’s see what the spin off series looks like with Diego & Izzy, I bet that will be interesting.

Phew! What an epic rollercoaster!! I have to admit this is my first read from this author and I am really kicking myself that I hadn’t come across her work before now.
This is the final book in her Bayou Devils MC series and despite missing the first ones, each telling the story of the different club members, I still managed to follow Travis and Rowan’s story.
The author was very clever in her recapping....Rowan is new to the MC, she has moved down from Alaska to join her brother and his wife who are members of the MC. So whenever something happens with a connection to a past book it is explained to Rowan as a newbie and therefore the reader.
Travis is the last single member of the club and he is quite content to stay that way. He doesn’t believe he is able to commit so avoids relationships at all costs. Then when Rowan appears, they feel an instant connection. When she is more than happy with Travis’ no strings suggestion they embark on a secret affair. Both these characters have been through hell in their lives. They find comfort and peace together and despite the so called casualness of their relationship it quickly becomes obvious that they are more than that to each other.
As the tensions within the club mount and the threats from an unknown source start to escalate, lives are put at risk, truths are revealed and tears are shed.
This was an explosive read with great anticipation and suspense. The chemistry and tender moments between Travis and Rowan were brilliantly written and I felt that Ms Myers has a real skill at noticing human interaction. Her descriptions pulled me in and I could visualise everything perfectly. The dialogue is real and plentiful.... I thoroughly enjoyed it and I still feel I can go back and read the first ones even though I know how it all pans out. I am definitely putting the next generation on my tbr.. not to be missed!!
I received an arc and this is my honest review.

This is book 8 in the Bayou Devils MC - This book follows Travis (streak) and Rowan (Kodiak's sister). I have loved every book in this series.
After coming home early from a shift at the club she works at Rowan finds her boyfriend in bed with someone she thought was a friend.. So Rowan has decided she is out.. What a better time then now to go see her brother and sister in law.
Streak and his brothers are under some serious pressure.. with the killer still out there.. he has no time for love.. nor does he want it.. with his up bringing he feels he wouldn't be any good at it anyway so why bother.. But when Rowan shows up the attraction is immediate.. they agree to sex only.. no feelings.. but things get HOT and they get HOT FAST!! And when the killer strikes again.. and it starts to involve Rowan.. Streak is having none of it..

Will they catch the killer once and for all?

Amazing job on the entire series.. Cant wait to read more.

Final book in this series and I loved it. Better news is the author is working on a second generation series.

We have all been trying to figure out who this person is that is toying with the club. It's not until near the end of the book that we find out.

Travis or Streak to the club is the computer genius has never had a relationship nor does he ever plan to. We don't know why but it too comes at a later time. He only does casual... more of a friend's with benefits. When Rowan walks into the club he can't take his eyes off her. They decide to keep things casual because he doesn't believe in love and she just came out of a bad relationship.

Only one question I still wish she would have answered.... since the town turned on the club and it ended with things righted does the town start accepting them again and do they get back to their job?

Hello Travis !!!!!!!

I am a lover, big fan, hooked on MC Biker stories and have read a plenty and this series did not disappoint. After reading Storm and Ali story I was hooked and needed more so I continued on and after Chance and Carly I was captivated which for me was the best, next it was Sawyer and Jett. The whole series is awesome very well written, Smith and Quinn pulled at my heart and so did Travis but through it all I survived 😇😇. Anyway again this is a very good series and it seems that the saga continues that makes for a happy fan, but could you make the next "Generation" a little sooner than later just saying 😇😇 Well Done Author Well Done !!!! What a way to end the series and get us prepared for the next. He is loosing his mind trying to figure out the angle, the who, what, why and how. This guy is making him look bad because he is one step ahead of them and knows more than he should. She needs a change and has shown up in the midst of their mess and hooks up with the only one of the guys who wants nothing more than sex. They have passion and chemistry in spades even though they are fighting against more. There is someone else who has other plans and his sights are set on Rowan and making the club pay. Edge of your seat, thrilling action and steam.

Five stars isn't enough

I have read all the Bayou Devils books twice while waiting for this book to be released. As soon as it was available to download I eagerly did so seeing as book 7 ends on a cliff hanger.
As soon as I started reading I couldn't out it down and I finished the entire book in one day, staying awake till 4am this morning to finish it, it was just that good.

A full on rollercoaster of emotions, I love Travis and Rowan's story and the two have a instalove relationship without even knowing it yet, hot and steamy doesn't even cover it, who knew the resident computer geek was such a stud (eight times in one night - I'll say no more 😃).

Aside from their budding romance the book is full of drama and suspense. The villain is always 2 or 3 steps ahead of the Devils which I did work out the reason why and I was a bit disappointed that Travis or even Blaze didnt realised it too. As for who he was and why he had such a vendetta against the club, I was at a total loss. The story goes dark very very quickly and the things that happen are brutal leaving me with a mixture of emotions rolling around my noggin.
From feeling happy one second, on the edge of my seat the next trying my hardest to read faster and faster to find out what happens next. Biting my lip through the steamy scenes to crying my eyes out at the saddest and hardest parts to swallow, trying to see the text through teary blurry eyes.

I have loved all of the Devils Bayou series, all the guys are great and even though this series seems to have ended (seeing as all the guys are now married), it seems A. M. Myers isn't totally finished, with a new generation of Devils in the works with the first book due in June, I definitely cannot wait.

All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this book, along with the other 7.
You will not be disappointed.

A terrific ending to this series

This has been a fantastic series, and this story was definitely a perfect ending. It was full of action, mystery, suspense, violence, but in the end had a wonderful HEA that was truly deserved.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.

I love Streak - he is good to his core. Thank goodness Rowan didn't give up. The attacks against the club continued in this edition. Many questions were answered One particular part blind sided me and made the waterworks flow. I never saw it coming. I highly recommend this book and this series.
