4 Ho-Ho-Hoing Stars ⭐

Only in Reindeer Falls does one shag Santa. Of course, it all started innocently enough with Noel Winter agreeing to supervise the Santa Photos at their local library. Rewarding herself by bedding Santa was merely an afterthought.

"So here I am. Ho-ho-helping. All I have to do is get Santa into the Santa suit and ensure none of the children knee him in the balls."

Except this wasn't dad bod Santa, this was Santa with his megawatt charm who could entice the pants off anyone including her. Who imagined that hot chocolate would be the perfect aphrodisiac?

"How does Santa stay STD-free?" I’m unbuckling his pants as I ask, and I really hope I can get to the punchline without laughing.

"Tell me."

"He always wraps his package before shoving it down the chimney."

Yet in the town of Reindeer Falls where the locals are enraptured by the magic of Christmas, even the biggest cynic will eventually succumb. In a case of mistaken identities, a side of matchmaking, I chuckled through this imaginative journey of Noel and Theo falling in love. Where Jana Aston plucks her humor from, I have no idea, but it certainly amuses me.

I just had a one-night stand with Santa Claus. That’s one hell of a way to get on the naughty list.

Jana Aston’s Reindeer Falls novellas are must reads this holiday season! In my opinion, they get better and better with each one. I enjoyed the first one lots, the second one was even better than the first, and this third one was the best of the bunch! Noel and Teddy’s story was so much fun and had me laughing out loud.

Noel Winter’s had a one night stand. With a mystery Santa. To her defense, she thought she knew who he was. She soon finds out she was wrong. Now she has no clue…
“Wait, what?” Jillian snaps to attention, straightening up in the chair so fast she nearly drops the tin of cookies in her haste. “You slept with some random Santa and you don’t even know who it was?”
“It’s looking that way, yeah. And don’t be so harsh. I thought I knew who he was.” I cross my arms across my chest and huff in irritation. “It could have happened to anyone.”
“Err,” Jillian hedges, “that’s doubtful. The chances of banging Santa have got to be super-low. For starters he only gets out once a year.”

Thankfully, it gets cleared up fairly quickly and Noel finds out who her mystery Santa is. Teddy and Noel have insane chemistry. They are so much fun together and I seriously couldn’t stop laughing while reading this. It was the best!

This novella was delightful. It was sweet, steamy, heartwarming and hilarious. I can’t get enough of these fun-loving novellas! I only wish they were longer. I could have used a full length novel about all these sisters!
“I promise you, I’ve never met anyone like you. In all my life.”

I completely adore this series of short Christmas novellas set in Reindeer Falls by Jana Aston. Each one features a different sister finding love around the holidays and they’re all completely adorable. In this one (book three), Noel has a one-night stand with a mystery Santa (Teddy) and sparks fly from there. Noel works at a senior center as an activities director (fun!) and Teddy steps in to put on the red suit at the last second. After a wild night and some miscommunication, can the two of them work things out? This was a great conclusion to the series.

This was so deliciously good! I thought James from the second book was charming but Teddy may be just a tad bit more charming. I loved him. His character was so easy going and the way he handled a very unusual request made me really love him. Noel was just as fun. I like how she had no walls up and just went for it. That me be because she had the wrong impression, but it counts. This was another adorable couple. I still wish I could live in Reindeer Falls and be best friends with the sisters!

I want to visit Reindeer Falls...

I'm so glad I found this series and got to experience the magic of Reindeer Falls. The characters were quirky and original, the storylines were entertaining and even though the love stories were mega quick, they still packed the steamy punch I enjoy.

Being one of three sisters, I took immense pleasure when Noel, the oldest stuffs up BIG TIME! I know that sounds a wee bit harsh. In my experience, big sisters can be a little bit bossy, think they know everything and convinced that their opinions are the only one that matters. Actually, the dynamics between the Winters sisters is remarkably similar to my own.

The One Night Stand Before Christmas was fantastic but I definitely thought Teddy stole the show. His attitude and ability to adapt was something that I appreciate in my heroes, maybe because my hubby also has a talent for adapting to unpredictable circumstances.

If you're looking for a holiday treat that's short and sweet, I highly recommend giving the Reindeer Falls series a try.

This one might be my favorite of The Reindeer Falls collection.

I found Noel not to be as judgmental as her sisters even though her co-workers brother sounds like a loser.

Although homegirl wasn’t really following her heart when she fell into bed with Santa Claus. Although I can’t say I blame her, Teddy was pretty charming.

I loved that little twist and how Noel went off the rails to find her one night stand.

The epilogue tied up all three stories efficiently and while it wasn’t the kind of book to change my world the stories were entertaining and cute.

What else can I ask of a Christmas take?

Just gonna say this, Mrs Carrington is my favourite character from this series so far!
Every time she was on the page, I was grinning and laughing.

Noel was indeed different than her sisters. She was bossier, you could tell she had the overthinking trait but it wasn’t overdone. Plus Noel did what she wanted to which was great to see!

It was a little disappointing that we learned so little about Teddy. I felt that with Nick and Keller, we got some nice little hints at their deeper personalities but it wasn’t there for Teddy.

I did like the ‘Teddy/Theo’ mix-up. For a short story, it was a good enough explanation of why this guy decided to go along with Noel’s demands.

Holly was more involved in this story! A mention right at the beginning then actually present at the end.

There is a one-year time jump so we actually learn where the sisters are in their relationships.
Loved that Nick *SPOILERS* used an Advent calendar to propose.
Not sure how I feel about where Ginger’s at. I suppose there is a balance between her personal and professional life.

Overall, I enjoyed this series for what it was, a few short stories about falling in love at Christmastime.
I did like how every book had some sort of description of the town.

I wish we actually met the sister’s parents. They were mentioned in every book and I feel like they'd be cool characters to get to know.

I was surprised by how much these books made me laugh. Whether some moments were intentionally funny or not, they did bring me out of the somber mood I’d been in.

Had to finish the series of Christmas romance novels. Noel, the oldest Winter sister, finds herself having a one-night stand with Santa (well, a guy in a Santa suit - although, not technically in the suit at the time … oh goodness…). Anyway, after a bit of mistaken identity, Noel and Teddy find that they are very well matched. The ending helps to round out the happily-ever-afters for the other sisters, Holly and Ginger. Some lines are super cute. Some feel like they are repeats from the previous novels. But it’s a quick, fun read.

El mejor de los tres libros que conforman esta serie navideña y donde más se aprecia el estilo de una autora aquí bastante diluido, aunque no tanto como en las entregas anteriores.

4 1/2 Santa Stars!

‘Maybe I have a Santa fetish? Eww. Is that even a thing?’

The One Night Stand Before Christmas is Noel’s turn to find love at Christmas in this, the last book in the Reindeer Falls series by Jana Aston. We’ve already had Holly and Ginger’s stories, Noel’s wonderfully eccentric and hysterically adorable sisters. To say this series has got us one hundred percent ready for Christmas is an understatement! Christmas novellas are everything to us at this time of year, and Jana Aston has written three of our favourites. We are gutted that it’s over now and wish she’d write more. We hereby petition Jana Aston to write Christmas stories every year, because …swoon…. This series is Christmas crack at its best!

“That’s quite the package you’ve got there, Santa.”
“Did you just make a dirty Santa joke?”

‘We move things to my bedroom after I ask Teddy if I can see his North Pole. Honestly, I’m not sure why he hasn’t run out the door yet either, but you do what you gotta do to get laid, I suppose.’

Noel doesn’t do things by halves. If you’re going to shag someone for Christmas, the top spot would be a one-nighter with Santa, right?! Especially a Sexy Santa who answers to the name of Teddy, but who you just know is a case of mistaken identity the minute he answers…”Sure”! Gah…we have Santa shag envy, because Santa Teddy can go down our chimney any day in December!

‘I was scared. That’s the truth of the matter. Scared that Teddy felt like something real. Like someone real. So instead of risking my heart and giving him even half a chance, I used him for sex and bolted.’

Noel is such a sweet and adorably awkward girl, who after seeing her sister’s fall in Christmas luuurveee, decides to throw caution to the wind and follow her Christmas jingle tingles and bed Santa. But just who is this spunkalicious Santa who’s setting her heart and lady bits a flutter? He’s definitely the Santa who comes more than once a year and very quickly finds a place in her heart. It’s not just Noel though who’s affected by this chance meeting. Saucy Santa has it bad too, and when he sets his heart on something or someone he makes sure it’s on the top of the must have list for Christmas. We LOVED Noel and Teddy!!! What a wonderful series this has been, we enjoyed every single Christmassy minute spent with the gorgeous peeps of Reindeer Falls.

“Come on, Noel. I’ve been a good sport today, haven’t I? Have a drink with me.”
‘We’ll have to bring the Santa costume.”
“Kinky.”

It was lovely.
The heroine was a little nuts but in a sweet way.
The hero was hot and fun.
Their sexy times were hot.

What's not to like?!

This totally brought me all the Christmas feels and soon I'm going to jump into the holiday rabbit hole of sweetness, hotness, and fun. I don't care it's still November. I'm in the mood.

The One Night Stand Before Christmas is the third book in the Reindeer Falls series and it's the least strong of the three. I still enjoyed the characters and laughed a few times though so it's not a total bust.
I just felt like the book was an afterthought after the 1st two books in the series.

If you're looking for a Christmas themed romance book with great characters, writing and plots, look no further then the Reindeer Falls series!

3.5*

Noel is the last of the Winter sisters to find Christmas romance in Reindeer Falls.

As we know from the previous book she has a one night stand with Santa.

This was my favourite of the three. Teddy was fabulous and I loved how they got together.

Cute, witty and light

Loved it, just wish it had been a bit longer, the epilogue came before I was expecting it, I was hoping for a little more time with them together because their chemistry was so good. Complete story.

Huh, this was unexpectedly short. Like even shorter than the other two books, which is my main issue here. I blinked and their story was over. Noel and "Teddy's" story takes place within 2 days? 3 days max. and, if you only count the hours they really spent together you won't even reach 24 (hours), which is probably the reason why it felt even shorter than it already was. This book is basically about their "meet-cute" which is not enough for me to give it a better rating than 3.5 stars. With the other two couples, we could at least witness part of the relationship building, something that I, personally enjoy the most.

Another thing that disappointed me to some extent is that I didn't get the cynic, more serious and confident eldest sister I thought I'd get because that was always how I pegged her and how she was portrayed. It took me by surprise to see her so fun and carefree and "christmasy". Not that there's anything wrong with it, I just expected her to come with some baggage and the book to have a more serious (but still fun) undertone.

Now despite all my nagging, this book wasn't bad. I liked the overall "atmosphere" between the main characters more than in book 2. Noel and Theo had a more flirty and sexy vibe, which was right up my alley, plus I loved, loved, loved the mistaken identity trope. The cute epilogue was also a great bonus.

Well, I can only say that these were fun and quick to read, just what the doctor ordered for a few days sickness and a desire for Christmassy reads. The author describes these as ‘over-the-top’ and ‘merrily-ever-afters guarenteed’, so I knew what I was getting into. They took minimal concentration and commitment which was perfect for my needs. Each book follows a different sister in the small town on Reindeer Falls…

The final novella, THE ONE NIGHT STAND BEFORE CHRISTMAS, was a mistaken identity fun read. This one was pure fun as this one night stand turned into a who the hell was that? The hero, Teddy sure was unrealistically committed and instantly into Noel but whatever, I bought into the fun. This final instalment also cleverly tied up the what is happening now with the three sisters so we got a great update on a year later.

I found this three novellas generally entertaining. I enjoyed them, they weren’t realistic or forever memorable but they did what they promised on the tin. They’re also in Kindle Unlimited if you have a subscription.

You can find a wrap up review of all three novellas on the blog here.

“Sometimes I secretly pretend I still believe in Santa.”
“Pfft.” He smiles softly. “Who doesn’t?”

With snow falling, Christmas music, hot cocoa, and Santa, The One Night Stand Before Christmas had everything I love in a holiday book. The characters pulled me in, the story line was addictive and the heat was absolutely sizzling! Plus I loved how much I laughed. This was the perfect ending to the Reindeer Falls trilogy and I can't recommend these books enough!
All I had was an overabundance of hot cocoa.
And Santa. I had him too.
Yup.
I just had a one-night stand with Santa Claus.
That’s one hell of a way to get on the naughty list.

Noel's co-worker, Jillian, left her to oversee pictures with Santa. Santa was to be Jillian's brother and Noel had been warned that he was a huge flirt. So when Noel met Teddy, their meeting felt a little bit different, but there was instant chemistry. And after one thing lead to another, Noel slept with Santa. What's a girl to do.
“We’ll have to bring the Santa costume,” I say in place of yes.
“Kinky.” He winks, but playfully. Smiling as he steps through the office door and starts unbuttoning the Santa jacket.

I loved Noel. She was determined, kind and absolutely hilarious! Hearing the story unfold from her point of view cracked me up. And watching her interact with Teddy, had me falling so hard for him. Teddy was a fabulous book boyfriend! He rolled with the punches, was beyond intoxicating and I loved how thoughtful he could be. I'd gladly accept cookies from him too, ha!
“That’s quite the package you’ve got there, Santa.” I roll my hips against him, hoping we can move this into my bedroom. Or we can just stay here and take off our pants. I’m not picky.
“Did you really just make a dirty Santa joke?” His tone is incredulous but he’s laughing.

From the moment they met each other, their chemistry was off the charts hot. Who knew I'd be melting into a pile of goo while Noel was putting on Santa's beard?! Um yeah, I didn't think that was possible until this book lol. And on top of that, their banter was irresistible. I would easily go from squealing to sighing out loud. It was so effortless to fall madly in love with them.
“You’re so beautiful,” he tells me when his lips have moved back to mine.

With charm, humor and romance, The One Night Stand Before Christmas became an instant favorite. And while I guessed how something was going to play out, it definitely didn't take away from my enjoyment of this story. I just loved it so much! And those who love epilogues will be oh so happy. We got to jump one year into the future, and see where Noel, Holly and Ginger are in their lives. It was incredible! So if you love happily ever afters and Christmas stories then definitely give this trilogy a try!

As a favor to a co-worker Noel agrees to help with a library fundraiser helping out with the Santa pictures. She thinks Santa is her co-workers unemployed brother, but after a sexy night with Santa she flees her own house only to discover on Monday her co-worker’s brother ditched the event and she has no idea who her one night stand Santa was.

I loved the set up of the way Noel and Teddy (Theo) meet and the fact there was a bit of matchmaking involved even though they meet under unusual circumstances. They spend the afternoon working at the fundraiser, enjoy a meal, and then their chemistry goes into overdrive. While I did love the sexy times, it was their pillow talk and their “tell me a secret” game that really had me falling in love with them both.

While Noel did kind of screw things up, thankfully Teddy was so enamored he was more than ready to forgive.

Sexy, fun, and wholly entertaining with a sweet epilogue that wrapped up the entire series with a nice, holiday bow, I loved this story.

Oh how I loved this conclusion to Holly, Ginger, and Noel’s Christmas romances!!! Super cute, super funny, super swoony! Noel works at a community center where she hosts activities for elderly folks, and she’s just been propositioned by one of her favorite grandmothers to date her grandson because he needs a wife. Hard pass from Noel. She’s distracted by a favor for her boss, arranging pictures with Santa, who will be her boss’s deadbeat brother Teddy.

So when Teddy turns out to be a charismatic knockout, she finds herself on the other end of a one night stand with Santa himself. And then she snuck out of her own house and ruined it. But when she learns that her Teddy isn’t her boss’s brother, she’s at a loss on who he is or how to find him. Turns out, she doesn’t have to look far at all, because remember that grandson? Yeah, he finds her and even better, wants to date her. They’ve found their person, and it was happily ever after for all. We got our epilogue and all parties ended up just as they should. Ginger and Keller are still my favorite couple, so the epilogue was extra sweet for me.

Holy Santa BALLS, this was FUN!! Noel and Knockoff Teddy gave her sisters a run for their money with her story! I was happy when I read the previous books. They made me laugh. But this story just lit me up . It was just soooooooooo damn *happy sigh* people!! I don't know what else to tell you. You have to have these sisters in your life like yesterday!

I've said this before but what the heck (lol) let's repeat it ... Jana Aston is a master rom-com writer !! Even if you think you're not feeling one of her stories, you're wrong, go back, read it again, you'll feel it #TRUST (been there done that LOL) It has always been a pleasure to curl up with one of her stories! Thank you, Jana Aston, for bringing a little bit of sunshine and rainbows into my world!
