Well...this was absurd.

The reason I started this book was because its plot was interesting the names of the MC's are hilarious. Major and Maple. Now, forgive me if any further in my review I change Major's name to Marble because I cannot get it out of my head😂

So, like I said before, this book was absurd. This wasn't "normal" Insta-love, no, it went something like this:

*Marble opens the door*
*Marble walks in, only to see a beautiful women- Maple*
*Marble walks up to Maple*
*Marble opens his mouth*

"You will marry me"

tf?? I'm sorry, but did I miss the part where you actually told her your name??? This is like waking on a street, seeing a beautiful girl/a handsome boy and walking upto them to ask for directions and asking them to marry you. i- tf??

From this point on Marble is dammed robot who whenever sees Maple says "You will marry me"

They do not get to know each other. Hell, they don't even know each other's names!!! Then there is the equally psychotic mother who tells Maple to call her mom despite her telling her that she is not gonna marry her son. Though, tbh, all her "attempts" were half assed.

It has been 15 minutes since I read the book and I have already forgotten it. In the end, they are married and consummating it in the back of a car???? that is just sooooooo romantic! Also, did I mention that she is a virgin??? yea, just soooo romantic. Like, girl yuh uh. Get a guy who'll do this.

okay, so I forgot to mention this but they run away from their own wedding. Yup! thats a thing. Halfway down the aisle, he picks her up and runs "cause he can't wait to have sex with her in the back of a car"

Also, the author has gotten herself confused between Exhibitionism and Voyeurism cause she says that she is a voyeur, cause she likes it when other people watch but that is the opposite actually, cause voyeurism is when you are doing the watching, not the other person.

Needless to say, I definitely wouldn't recommend this book! It was pathetic and had no plot whatsoever besides the "Marry me and im not asking" shit

"Priceless" is the story of Maple and Major.

Well this was absurd.

The hero is a cocky wall street billionaire, who is coerced by his sister to go and obtain a piece of jewelry from our heroine- a cooky temperamental artist who only gives her pieces to nice environmentalists in lurve. He takes one look, and falls head over heels for her. When she refuses to pander to him, he sues her at the same time vowing to make her his bride.
After minimal reluctance and banter, she surrenders to his massive ego and bigger cock, and they have their cum filled HEA.

I think I would have liked it better if the heroine had the upper hand in their weird power play and made the hero surrender, despite him being the alpha.

I absolutely loved this story! I loved Major and his OTT jerk kind of antics. The moment he sees Maple he is full on in love and willing to do absolutely anything to win over Maple. He definitely goes to an extreme measure to get her attention and make himself memorable. Maple is attracted to Major but hates everything he stands for. She thinks he’s an entitled jerk and wants nothing to do with him. But he is a hard man to say no too and he all too soon begins to grow on her and wear her down. Major was swoon worthy delectable. Maple was a sweetheart with a heart of gold, I really enjoyed her character.

Completely safe. No ow/om drama. H not a manwhore but past wasn’t mentioned and h is a virgin. H wears a wedding ring to keep gold diggers at bay and this causes mild drama in the beginning. No abuse.

I just got started on this author's books and was really loving them but this one just felt ridiculous. Too many over the top scenes to really enjoy it. I did find a few moments of sweetness. I love a j/p hero but find most books showcase them in a ridiculous manner. 😕

Super quick, super sweet and HOT!!!

If your after an over the top Alpha who is arrogant but makes him even hotter then let me introduce Major Bennington.

When he first meets Maple he has no clue he’ll be falling head over heels at first sight. He may have been there to purchase a necklace for his mother but that’s the last thing on his mind now. He wants her. And he’ll get her.

Maple is less then impressed with Major. His arrogance and his asshole behaviour doesn’t score him any points. But she also can’t help but notice the fluttering in her belly and her heart.

The feels are there. The heat delivers and the Major gets an A+ for dirty talk.

Another great read! Funny dialogue and laugh out loud moments. Maple and Major really do have many poignant moments. I love the take on how Maple makes her jewelry. You might even shed a few tears on the way to their HEA.

Priceless es mi libro menos favorito de los que he leido de la autora.

Estoy acostumbrada a que estas novelas sean exageradas, pero en esta ocasion todo es simplemente demasiado. La trama esta llevada a un extremo que no resulta nada creible ( incluso para ser un libro de romance apresurado ), y aunque algunas de las respuestas de los protagonistas me hicieron sonreir al ser bastante ocurrentes, en general, sus conversaciones ( e interacciones ) son el colmo de la fantasia.

Antes que esta lectura, recomiendo mucho mas los otros trabajos de Ella Goode, como por ejemplo : Always Loved You, mi novela favorita de la escritora.

This was a fast pace funny witty and a omg read.

Major comes off as a kind hearted guy but to others maybe a jerk who always gets what he wants. And he has a mission to get a necklace for his heartbroken mother who is going through a rough time. And the necklace she wants is from a woman named Maple who is a amazing artist.

Maple could smell (lol) how fake Major was acting from the back room of her store. Wearing a fake wedding ring (so gold diggers would leave him alone) saying he wanted a piece of her jewelry for his "wife" when she called him out he was star struck and told her she was going to be his..

I laughed at Major and the things he pulled to get Maple to talk to him.. but heck he would give up his fortune for her.. 3 DAYS AND HE WOULD GIVE HER HIS WHOLE WORLD!!

True OTT ALPHA!!! THERE!!

It is amazing how a simple necklace could bring two people together. Loved Major and Maple. The banter between then was so fun to watch. Major saw her and that was it took. He was done in for, however Maple was trying to fight the feelings that were there. This book could be read in one sitting and I did just that. It was a very enjoyable read. Another great story by Ella Goode and I can’t wait to read what she has next.

Priceless was different from other Ella Goode's books I've read.
I was seriously considering admitting hero and his family into a mental institution, despite knowing they were fictional.
The book was full of funny scenes but the downfall of them was that they prevented me from actually connecting to main characters. Which was a shame.

First time they met was hilarious. Major dressed himself UGLY AND AWFUL AS HELL to avoid any other women hitting on him, which was so freaking funny and hilarious. I couldn’t help LMAO during the reading hahahahaha. I am so speechless with his appearance🤣🤣🤣

I stop, peeking around to see my assistant Trudy going off on a very handsome man who is wearing a godawful sweater. I turn, going back to my studio. I want no part of that. Trudy can handle herself. I know there is work to be done and I’m behind. I also know ugly sweater man isn’t going to get any of the pieces that I make. He can dress himself up but I know his type. He wouldn’t appreciate anything that I created. He only wants what he can’t have.

Major was grumpy, and super arrogant, so when he wanted to buy his mom a necklace from Maple but was turned down by store’s clerk, he wasn’t satisfied with the result so he burst into Maple’s office and their first times’s talking was Hahahahahaha, omg I haven’t laughed hysterically like this these two days hahahahahahah!!!!! 😂

“What are you doing?” snaps the beauty in front of me.

“Falling in love,” I grin, giving her the full wattage.

“Get out,” she replies, apparently immune to the smile.

Major was over the top, cocky and being like a jerk but their talking was funny as hell.😅😅😅

“Sir. You can’t marry me. You are already married.”

It takes me a moment before I recall that I have the wedding ring on my finger. I raise my hand. “Are you talking about this? I just wear it so that the hungry ladies down on Wall Street target some other poor sap.”

“You must think marriage is a mockery to pretend that you’re married and then waltz in here and propose to a woman you don’t even know!”

“Babe, this is my first interaction with the whole love at first sight thing. I don’t know how the rules work.” I spread my hands. “I just know that you’re mine.”

“It’ll be a cold day in hell before I belong to anyone, particularly you.”

“Good thing I’m rich enough to buy you a fur coat.”

Major was bored and rich, and he fall for this girl at the first sight. She was also a challenge for him. But mostly, he loved her. 😁😁😁 Maple was a brilliant girl in designing jewelries but she was also innocent when it comes to getting along with a man like Major.

When Maple turned him down, Major sued her and forcing her to design necklaces for his mother.(and at the same time Major knew her brother,Gavin, was one of the best attorneys of the city). He wanted to see her and that’s the only way he knew to solve the problems in his life.

“I’ll begin liquidating my stock in the morning. I’ll have to do it slowly because I don’t want the market to panic.” My holdings are sizeable and a sell-off now would crash the entire system.

Gavin understands this. “Fine but you’re doing this for nothing. She doesn’t want your money.”

His words hit me like a second blow to the face. She doesn’t want anything from me. I’d found my true mate and “she believed I’d taken something from her.

My chest feels like it’s caved in. I have a hard time breathing. I shrug into my jacket, tighten my tie, and jerk my chin in Gavin’s direction. “I’m ready. Let’s go.”

He was an arrogant banker in Wall Street who was never thinking about other’s feelings when it comes to win, so he thought it was the way to get to see Maple, but he was wrong.

But when he knew he hurt her feelings, he felt punched in his gut, and he almost couldn’t breathe, he was desperate and even wanted to gave all his liquids to Maple, and he also prepared lots of apologies in the letter.

“You don’t have to make the necklace,” he gives.

“Damn you, Major Bennington. That only makes me want to make it more.”

“My mother is hard to say no to.”

I smile. “That she is.”

He maybe didn’t know how to love someone, he was tough for his whole life and didn’t had any experience how to treat other women except his sister and mom, but he was learning.

I sit there in shock at all the things my brother had gotten Major to do. I swallow back the lump in my throat. He was willing to throw everything away because he thought he’d truly hurt me. Behind all those arrogant smiles, suits and fancy cars is a man with a heart as sweet as they come.

I’m starting to think Major is a little like my brother.

He puts on these fronts to protect himself. To keep people at bay. Then when he finds someone that he doesn't want to keep at arm’s length they are not really sure how to handle it.

I loved this man more and more. He melt my heart, omg, how a man can be SOOOO lovely when he was DEVILISH and tough like this. Hell yeah he was so freaking COCKY and ARROGANT. I mean, he was a man SOOOO OVER THE TOP. But when you see how he cherished Maple, he was really REALLY would do anything to let his girl happy. It’s not something just related to fall in lust, it’s caress, it’s worshiping, and fall in love.

I also melt my heart when I read how he call his girl babe in such a gente and wicked way, it’s super difficult to resist a man like this. Not to mention, He was rich, wealthy, and sexy as sin.

“It’s true that we just met. It’s “true she is making a necklace because I sued her. The rest of it is not true. We are getting married. She will be the mother of your grandchildren. I am going to be the happiest man on the planet in a week’s time.”

“Well,” my mother huffs. “A week.”
Maple nods, feeling justified that someone is finally taking her side. “Like I said. This is outrageous.”

“It certainly is. I have no idea how I’m going to plan a wedding in a week.”

Major and his mom was hilarious as hell omg, I am highly recommend you girls to read this one, hahahahahaha. They were both ridiculous funny.😆😆😆

It’s a caveman feeling and not one I’ve ever felt before—at least not toward a woman. But everything about Maple brings out responses and urges in me that are foreign. I’ve never wanted to possess something like I’ve wanted her. I’ve never wanted to hold someone like I want to hold her. Every fiber of my being is filled with an urgency to claim her, to hear her scream my name in ecstasy, to hear her proclaim herself as mine.

He wasn’t a Manwhore kind of hero, he was concentrated only on his girl, and when I read I can fell he was annoying when women hitting on him (so he dressed GODAWFUL when he went out😆😆😆)

Major’s dirty talk also turned me on.

Epilogue was SOOOO SWEET as well!!! Maple was knocked up again, and it was funny when her brother couldn’t bear how Maple and Major put their hands on the other’s body hahahahaha🤣🤣🤣

Major pulls my hand down from my mouth. “I love you,” I tell him before his mouth meets mine and we’re kissing. I moan into his mouth.

“Why do you guys do this shit?” My brother’s voice breaks me from the moment.

“Love you too,” he says against my mouth, ignoring my brother like normal.

I love it SOOO MUCH AND it became off of my amazing AS FK books this year!!!!😭😭😭♥️♥️♥️

He’d been so right about love that first day that I’d let him into my shop to watch me work. The man who I thought didn't understand the love I put into crafting my jewelry taught me about love with his own words. That it can come in so many different ways and forms. Some take time to grow while others happen in the blink of an eye. No matter how it comes, it is always priceless.

Talk about insta-love! I understand this was supposed to be a sexy short story, but I felt cheated. The story had so much potential, but it was so short nothing really made sense and it was so super unbelievable.

Everything happend way too fast and the sex was the worst, who would believe this characters had this connection when they literally just met?! I honestly regret reading this book, because it really had potential for more and if I'd known it would be a short one, with so much insta-love, I would have skipped it.

Mí humilde opinión:

Major necesita conseguir un collar para su madre pero no cualquier collar. Una joya diseñada por Maple London, la diseñadora del momento.

Él es un banquero de Wall street, que consigue lo que quiere pero cuando no le quieren vender la joya exige ver a Maple.

Maple no puede creer que ese hombre prepotente y arrogante se presente diciéndole que está enamorado de ella y que será su esposa. No es más que un mentiroso que consigue lo que quiere porque tiene dinero.

Ahora él deberá demostrarle que la única cosa que quiere es a ella.



Estoy un poco decepcionada con esta historia.



No me gustó...

Primero Major, con una actitud horrible para nada romántico. Él todo se lo lleva por delante manipulando a la protagonista.
Me hubiera gustado más conquista de la dulce aquí, que se esfuerce más.

Maple muy débil, ella era todo No puedo evitarlo, es tan guapo.

Me resultó una tonta la verdad.

Para mí no hubo un lindo flechazo insta aquí, le faltó algo de romance.

Y esa escena después de casarse?

Directo a consumar el matrimonio?

Dejo mucho que desear. Demasiado flojo también en romance y sensualidad.

No me llegó para nada esta historia EG, lo siento.

Maple hace joyas de una forma diferente. En vez de venderlas es un contrato de alquiler: cuando te aburras de ellas se la devuelves y ella te devolverá el dinero. Además no sé las vende a cualquier persona. Es por eso que cuando Major entra en su tienda intentando comprar una de sus joyas ella se niega a vendérsela, sabiendo que el es esa clase de gente que compra todo con dinero y no por amor. Pero cuando Major ve a Maple lo último que le interesa son sus joyas....

Lo digo bien alto: este se ha convertido en mi favorito de Ella Goode.
Ha sido muy divertido leerlo. Major me ha hecho reír como nunca con sus desvaríos ignorando totalmente las protestas de Maple. Y ya cuando la madre de él se metió en el fregado... Fueron dos contra uno y Maple estaba perdida 🤣.
Mi parte favorita y triste fue cuando Gavin, el hermano de Maple le dijo aquellas cosas a Major y él quiso deshacerse de todo si eso significaba que él de verdad le había hecho daño. Que mono 😍

Es una historia cortita, con poco drama, locuras graciosas y final muy feliz ❤️

Yeah ummm no. The Hero is an OTT alpha-hole jerk and the heroine is a flaky, pretentious artist type who makes jewelry but only sells it to people she feels are worthy to own her work. What kind of hipster bullshit is that??? Anyway, just based on the first four chapters I was able to choke down (which was a miracle in itself), I’m pretty certain would not be able to tolerate these characters long enough to stomach the entire story!
