I have loved each one of Victoria's Black Sentinels book, but Malia is most definitely my favourite and that could be down to Wave. Victoria has written a hot, sexy and troubled man who doesn't want his past to affect his future and he certainly has the brooding intensity of a true leading man. Wave and Malia have amazing chemistry and are written with so much sensitivity you can't help but fall in love with both of them and hope they get their happy ever after. Loved being back in the world of this MC, and especially enjoyed the build up to this story. Whilst a certain element of the tale was predictable there’s so much I never saw coming, in a good way.
