This feels like a book that for me might be a "good starting place" to go off in rather different directions than it intended. While I believe that aspirations are really a great thing for a person like this, this book is about affirmations.

I do not believe that affirmations are really all that useful for me. While I feel that this book does give a way for the affirmations to work better than what I have experienced of that. It is all about stating some desired goal, as something that is actually true in your life now. This seems like fundamentally lying to yourself.

Still, changing an affirmation to an aspiration is not all that difficult to do.
