Just Desserts
Adam took this job to stay out of trouble. He was happy with his life and didn't want to start anything that would change it. Staying out of trouble was a great plan, right up to the moment he saw her. Mariam can do it on her own. Her wolf abandoned her long ago and she learned to live without her. She has spent years making sure she belongs to no known pack and never will. Ben has loved his life with Adam, but he has to wonder, is there still a place for him in Adam's new life? Things haven't been right for a while now. Attacks have been happening between normally friendly people, and that is just one oddity. On top of that there is a crazed mutant that seems to have a desire to kill and memories are haunting more than one person of a similar crime. Can Mariam make sense of it all? But more importantly can she learn to take help from the people around her. Will she realize she's no longer alone? Can these three survive being thrown together for life? When things start unraveling and people start getting hurt can they come together to help save the innocent or are hurt feelings going to win?

this was super exciting and fun to read.. i enjoyed the characters.. they popped... their emotions.. their conflict and who they each are.. it was all together a good story and i cannot wait for the next book.

Pack
What a beautiful way to start a series! If i could i would give it more stars. This is a book full of action packed of love,anger and redemption, but also new beginnings. I can’t wait for the nex’t one.

I loved this book! It was an exciting new series that I look forward to enjoying.
Mariam, Ben and Adam where funny, emotional and their drama did entice me to want to never stop reading. I loved world building cannot wait to see what else the author has in store!

What a start!!
Being the start of a series there is a lot that the writer has to teach the reader, especially one as complex as this. Then you add in all the little hints and bits of information that the characters are learning throughout the story. What I liked was that even with all of that it was an exciting read. While the ending isn’t a cliff hanger as such, you know there will be more trouble coming to Mariam and her mates and pack. I can’t wait to see how this unfolds.

It was hard to put down and left me eager to pick up the next. Definitely has adult content, but not gratuitously so. Every part served a purpose in the overall story.

Just Desserts is the first book in the Hidden Pack series by Maggie Decker. This is an interesting, entertaining, amazing start to a very promising series. After reading this first installment I am beyond excited to read more of this universe created here.
All the characters are so intriguing and begging to tell me more about themselves and their world. I absolutely loved Adam, Ben and Mariam together. They worked well together and fit perfectly. I love that Mariam is strong for her pack and can get things done but has her two mates to back her up and give strength when needed.
The story has drama, background, suspense, humor, steam, pack and love.... it was well written and caught my interest right away. My only complaint is I read it too fast and now must wait for the next book. Loved this!

This is going to be an awesome series, I can already tell. Mariam, Adam, and Ben are so supportive and loving of each other, and their mating makes each of them even stronger than they were before. I love Adam's family; and the rogue pack that Mariam leads is incredible. It thrills me that Mariam is such a strong woman. I need answers for the questions left hanging, and I can't wait to see what all of these amazing characters do next. This first installment is at different times sexy, funny, and heartbreaking; and it is always completely engrossing. The author has come up with a great story, and I look forward to the next installment.

This is a really good beginning of a new series. I like how the characters tells the story to us, and makes it what it is.
I like the worldbuilding and of course...you can't have a werestory without a little bit of magic.
A good page turner and it flowed well.

Unexpected depth
The description of this book doesn’t do it just. It is a story of love and strength in the face of the broken hierarchy of pack alphas who don’t care for their females or submissive wolves. Great story and characters.
