3.5 stars ... a sweet read
4.5 stars

This is the second book I’ve read by Carly Marie and I’m becoming quite the fan.

Kyle has worked as a ranch hand at Untamed for the last 8 years. He’s become best friends with Rand, who inherited the ranch when his parents died. The two have always been attracted to each other, but have never been open about it to each other.

When Kyle gets a call from his brother demanding he be at his wedding, Kyle refuses. His brother is a major dick about it and tells him he better show up or he’ll

Sweet and straightforward, I found Carly Marie's Untamed an enjoyable read. The friends to lovers aspect of the story is well done and believable. (Though I was shaking my head a bit at these two guys - (view spoiler)

Really enjoyable read after several duds. This was sweet, fun and so damn sexy. I loved Rand and Kyle. Their foray into a fake-Daddy/boy relationship was unusual but was full of romance, as well as humour and heart. And the!! And that cover...OMG!!!!

Kyle and Rand.

Okay, full disclosure, I had a little trouble getting into this one. I love a good Daddy story and am in new territory with age play and little's, but I was intrigued. I found it very hard to believe that neither of these guys had any prior knowledge of the kink and kind of fell into it by chance and I cannot stand the whole fake boyfriend/pretend trope. So, when Kyle's homophobe brother called and demanded he show up at his wedding so he could make himself look good having a gay

All reviews are voluntary and my honest opinion.

You've read fake relationships, but have you read a fake DD/lb relationship?

Kyle's family is driving him bonkers. His entitled brother is getting married in order to secure a partnership at his lawfirm. Kyle wants nothing to do with it, so he tells his family he's in a relationship with his best friend and boss, Rand. Not just any relationship, a Daddy/boy relationship!

Now he just has to tell Rand.

YESSSSS and a million time more yes! This book was the best EVER from Carly Marie! - I know, I say the same after every book, but it's true! Every new book is so much better then the last, and OMG this book was holy-fucking-amazing.

It was sweet, lovely, cute, romantic and erotic and HOT, and all the aww-feels!

The storyline and the characters were amazing, I loved reading it and loved how everything had turned out. The Daddy/Boy things were super cute, I loved when Kyle was little and played

I was very pleased with how well-written the daddy kink/age play aspect of this book is, and Rand & Kyle are adorable together! But there are two things that bothered me:

One is the fake-relationship, where Kyle wants his friend Rand to pretend to be his Daddy at his brother's wedding, just to piss of his family. The whole arrangement is absurd even for a romance, and it was comical how far they were willing to go to make it believable. It felt like this was just a bad excuse the author came

This was a quick read with a few funny moments. Main characters were okay. They worked well together and both adapted to their new roles.

I absolutely adored this sweet Daddy/boy romance. I've read a few fake-relationship books and even some "be my pretend boyfriend so I can piss of my family" books, but a pretend Daddy is new to me.

Kyle and Rand meet on a job interview (Rand hiring Kyle), and there's some inital attraction between them. But instead of immediately trying to pursue something, we're fast-forwarded 8 years to a point where Kyle and Rand are best friends and have put aside their romantic feelings for each other. I

3.75 at first I didn’t think I was gonna like this book, but it certainly drew me in. Two best friends finding new roles and falling for each other.
Daddy/little is certainly growing on me. This book made me bust out a few embarrassing public chuckles. Shout out to the grandma in this book.
I adore Rand. Adore him. The way he takes care of his little is everything and more. I loved that this couple talked out their issues. I loved how they were with each other and how they just fit into their

Wow. Barely started. His family has treated him like crap, including his parents. His brother is getting married and wants him there to show how diverse his family is (brother is a homophobe). If mc doesn’t go brother will tell mother mc misses her and wants her to visit. Well if that isn’t a good enough reason to put a book down, I don’t know what is.

Kyle and Rand are best friends, and Kyle lives with and works for Rand. When Kyle gets a phone call from his brother telling him that he is expected to be at his upcoming wedding, Kyle ends up telling his brother he will be there, not only with his boyfriend, but with his Daddy. When Kyle asks Rand for help and pretend to be his Daddy, Rand decides that its best for them to "practice" for the six-weeks prior to the wedding. In those six-weeks, Kyle and Rand grow closer as their relationship ...more

Excuse me while I lose my mind over the perfection that is this book

I have said it time and time again, friends to lovers is my all-time favorite Trip. Daddy Kink is my all-time favorite kink. And when you have the audacity to combine them!?How am I not going to get the book five stars. I am that level of trash.

But in all honesty this book is pretty amazing. Again it is friends to lovers so it has that beautiful awkwardness but organic simplicity that comes with friends to lovers. It's great

Omg! I love Carly Marie's Untamed. Can I give it 10 stars? Seriously, it is wonderfully delicious. It's a must read for anyone who enjoys age play.

It's an amazing story of a developing Daddy and age play relationship between roommates. What starts as a lie to save face, ends up introducing Kyle to a whole new world he never knew he needed. Soon Rand and Kyle are practicing being Daddy and little, as they want to be convincing in front of Kyle's family.

Kyle and Rand are not just pretend

Huh. I really struggled with the premise of this story. The whole "pretend" boyfriend/Daddy/boy set up did not work for me because I just couldn't buy into it. That they'd both just delve into the ABDL lifestyle when neither had ever had an inkling they'd be into it, just to embarrass and piss off Kyle's family.....irksome and so far beyond my "Bullshit" meter for me to find remotely believable. The first half of the story mostly annoyed me, had me snorting in disbelief and caused some serious ...more

Untamed is a sweet western, that doesn’t really focus on the western aspects other than just being set at a ranch. Other than a brief first meeting the story jumps ahead seven (?) years to where Kyle and Rand have been living together for a couple years, as purely “platonic” workmates with underlying sexual tension that neither wants to acknowledge until Kyle puts his foot in his mouth with his brother and needs a Daddy boyfriend to accompany him to his brother’s wedding.

Kyle has worked for his best friend Rand for years. He's had to distance himself from his crazy family because they've never accepted his sexualiity.
Imagine his surprise surprise when he's basically ordered to attend his brother's wedding and bring his boyfriend.
In a crazy attempt to get out of attending, he blurts out some information about his nonsexist Daddy.
Now he's dug a hole for himself and he has to beg his best friend Rand to rescue him and gfoo along with the scheme.

I was Kyle's fake Daddy, Rand thought to himself, my friend and co-worker was in a pickle, his brother was getting married and he insisted that Kyle bring his boyfriend and attend the festivities. Kyle and I had been working for over ten years on my Ranch Untamed, he was the husbandry expert for my horse breeding program, and we had been living together platonically at the ranch for the last five years. When Kyle told his brother that his non-existent boyfriend was also his Daddy, I agreed when ...more

Untamed Is Amazing

Carlie Marie did an amazing job of writing Kyle’s and Rand’s story. I loved that this was a best friends to Daddy/Boy to lovers romance. So much trust and desire and love in this book-it warmed my heart. Honestly hearing about it being a fake daddy boy relationship, I didn’t know what to expect but seeing them find their roles and how much Rand loved being the caretaker and how much he did and loved doing for His little one and then Kyle be able to find his little space is just

This book though !!

I can’t give Carly enough stars in this one ; she has always been a one click buy for me but her last two book were kinda meh , I read them , I enjoyed then but I wasn’t blown away .

Rand and Kyle though !! *sigh*
I cried , I laughed , I swooned this was such a beautiful friends to lover, daddy/boy book. Seeing rand come into his daddy Dom side was so beautiful he absolutely adores and treasures Kyle by the end of the book and although it doesn’t leave on a cliff hanger it

Oh, I loved this so much. This author has not disappointed me yet, I am getting the perfect combo of sweet and kinky.

Kyle tries to throw a relationship and kink in his brother’s face in order to get out of going to the wedding. I love that Rand didn’t even blink and agreed to go along with his crazy scheme but I loved even more how less crazy it seemed as they went.

Rand jumped in with both feet and I loved watching him take care of Kyle and to help Kyle figure out what he needed too. There was

So much fun

Do you like a little kink with your romance? This is definitely the right book for you. These two work on the ranch and are good friends. One phone call has Kyle asking Rand to be his pretend Daddy Dom. Do either of them know how it works? No. But they research it and decide to practice before Kyle's brother's wedding. They realize it works well for them. I don't want to spoil the end, but I will say that I laughed and shed a few tears. I really enjoyed this story.

This was such an entertaining read! Starting out as kind of a joke but turning into something real...I can get with that. Having said that, I think some part of this didn't really work as a Daddy/boy relationship for me but I can't pinpoint why that is. Just a feeling. I still adored the book but the lack of anyone having a problem (other than Kyle's family) with them and being all accepting...I don't know, I just can't see it. I'd wish it but can't see it. Great sex, great friendships, great ...more

This was such a sweet book. Kyle and his family don't get on so when he is informed that he must attend his brother's wedding he makes up a fake boyfriend, when that isn't enough he claims that said boyfriend is actually his Daddy Dom. Even that doesn't deter his brother so his only choice is to ask his best friend of nearly a decade to be his fake Daddy. The men have always been attracted to each other but afraid to risk their friendship. Neither of the men have a clue exactly what the ...more

Carly Marie writes another fabulous Daddy/boy book. Kyle needs the help of his best friend Rand when he lies to the jerk of a brother about having a Daddy. Rand is a little nervous about pulling off this sham successfully and decides that Kyle and him need to start practicing. The more they practice the more they realize that they want this to be their reality. The journey of Rand learning to be a Daddy and Kyle realizing he wants a Daddy is full of laughter, friendship, sexiness, and love. They ...more

Carly Marie has cemented herself as one of the queens of age play literature. I love the perspective of both MC being brand new to not only age play and their roles within, but also to each other as more than just decade long friends. The story builds organically and Rand makes an amazing Daddy. No spoilers, but one of my favorite scenes features some diapers and candy bars. Such a fun and accepting environment for the new relationship at home and really some karma intervention in the end! ...more

Safe, Sane and Consensual!

This is the first book I read by this author, but it won’t be the last! The relationship in all its aspects was very well done. I especially appreciated how we get to see both Kyle and Rand fight to find their footing in their new roles, especially since, yes! Any new relationship will have that uncertainty and awkwardness at the beginning. It was sweet and an easy read. Highly recommended for fans of m/m with some kink.

4.5* Untamed by Carly Marie is a standalone story featuring Rand and Kyle. Fake Daddy/ Boyfriend, Daddy/boy, Friends to Lovers, Age Play romance with an HEA. This story was laugh out loud funny with so much love and support between the two main characters and their chosen family and sexy times without being too much. Would absolutely recommend!

When Kyle is expected to be in attendance at his brother's wedding in NYC and his family isn't taking no for an answer, an offhand lie turns in to an

I absolutely loved the way their relationship developed into something that was so natural and so healthy for the both of them. I loved the lack of unnecessary drama and the way they were able to communicate and the way Carly emphasized on the fact that the only reason it worked at all and that it thrived into the relationship it became was because of their willingness to communicate and the fact that they were aware of its importance.
