I am not exaggerating when I say that I’ve waited with bated breath for this story. I was so greedy for the release that I couldn’t wait the few days necessary. My greedy one-click fingers leapt at the opportunity to read it prerelease with an ARC. Was it worth the wait? Absolutely!

I’ve been clamoring for Professor DeeDee’s story since well... her birth. Her strong, mysterious True Mate intrigued me since his first appearance in an earlier book. The writing was incredible. The story moved along at a great clip. The plotting was perfection. Montgomery pulled out several surprises and answered lingering questions from the earlier series. Fantastic!

I love a story that takes me on a roller coaster ride of emotions. There was sizzling off the page romance, action, mystery, comedy, and intrigue — all rolled into this story. As always, Montgomery leaves me wanting more. I cannot wait for the next installment in this world she has created.

This sixth book in the series mixes it up with a fairytale style romance in the Middle East.

She is trying to focus on work to avoid the rejection by the man she loved. When she is rescued from an attack, she meets a Prince and learns that his isolated country has their own secrets. Her wolf is telling her there is a connection but she is not she can trust her heart again.

He has faced many losses and isn’t sure what to make of her and their strengthening bond. He has huge responsibilities as leader of his country. He also has people plotting against him. While he can transform into a powerful dragon, he still faces risks.

I really enjoyed their romance. It is something that builds from an intense attraction into something much stronger. The other characters add flavor to the story. His little sister is a delight. Her family and friends are not sure of him and make him work for his chance with her.

You get a real twist at the end as well. I didn’t see it coming.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Deedee Creed has had her heart broken and to cure it she decides to go with her first love and accepts to go for an archeological dig in the Middle East. When she gets attacked and caught in a sandstorm she ends up as a “guest” in the most reclusive kingdom of the planet. Prince Karim is unsettled with the changes in his life and struggling to accept his new role as king, until one morning he wakes up to the most amazing smell of his life but the origin of it is a very inconvenient “guest”. This is the starting point to another True Mates great book. A very good read as the mages continue focused on their goal of ruling the world and eradicating all shifters. New alliances are being forged and new interesting characters keep being added to the plot. Will be waiting eagerly for the next one

Man, DeeDee's life really did not turn out like she was thinking it might. I mean, she always thought she would end up with Cross, for starters. This book has so much adventure to it. Actually I feel like each book in the series takes things up another notch into the unexpected.

Prince Karim has a country to protect, secrets to keep, and a lot goin on. DeeDee totally crashed into his life, not by choice. Their love story is like a whirlwind. Other characters from previous books do make appearances and there is an ongoing story arc that flows through each but this could be read on it's own as well. It was a fun read and hard to put down!

I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
DeeDee thought that digging for mummies would cure her broken heart.
Instead, she was thrown into the arms of a handsome prince.
Karim is suddenly the new king.
Karim has too much to do, and he does not have the time for romance.
Will DeeDee + Karim be able to get past their ghost and give love a chance ?
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Once again this author has written another great book. There were things mentioned that I didn’t remember from previous books, but it’s been a while so that may be the issue. I don’t want to give any spoilers, but I love the new people we are seeing, and there are so many I would love to have a story for.
The climax of the underlying story arc (not the romance) was a little anticlimactic. It may have been slightly rushed, but it didn’t take away from the romance.
I’m looking forward to the next!

The sixth book in the True Mates Generations series sees Deedee meet her mate. The story is a fairy tale romance set in a far off kingdom, with political intrigue, an epic battle and the Crown Prince needing to woo his lady love. I liked Karim's little sister and was surprised by the instigator of the coup, an unexpected plot twist. This book also gives up the secret about how Sebastian got his dragon, and leaves a lot of questions about what Cross is up to. I look forward to the next book.

This was a fun read even if you have not read the other five books in the true Mayes Series.

DeeDee is a good match for Karim- there’s action, new and exotic locations, & interesting people! The drama of betrayal & DeeDee’s family jumps in the middle of it to help! Her friends are hilarious, the characters are all very strong. I love a happy ending!!
I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this book in return for my honest review!!

I loved this book. The characters from previous novels came back, we finally understood how Sebastian became a dragon, and how Deedee protected those whom she loves. Glad she finally got her own True Mate too.

This is Dee Dee and Prince Karem's story.

To get over her broken heart, Professor Desiree Desmond Creed goes on an extended archeological dig near Afghanistan. When she gets attacked by a coworker, someone from the palace of Zhobghadi the same place that her Dad was captured years ago as a marine.

The Prince is a dragon shifter, but with the sand storms surrounding the castle, Dee Dee can't leave for at least a week. Slowly, the couple all in love, but the Prince refuses to offer Dee the position as Queen, only as a mistress.

The clan come for her and she goes back home. But Karem is never far from her thoughts. He comes to her begging for forgiveness and then a coup is staged on his palace.

The mages along with his Aunt is behind the chaos, and Creed finds out what really happened to him almost 40 years ago.

But can Dee be queen?

A must read!

DeeDee Creed is the daughter of Jade Cross and Sebastian Creed. Her parent’s story is told in Taming the Beast. DeeDee has been in love with Cross Jonasson as long as she can remember. Unfortunately, those feelings aren’t returned. So DeeDee goes on an archeological dig to nurse her bruised ego. During a sandstorm, she finds herself in the home of Prince Karim, and the sparks fly as they find they are true mates.

This was a very satisfying read.

I do recommend this book, and the series.

The Wolf and her Dragon

I love dragons, so the title grabbed me first. From the first page I was lost, so involved I was reading into the wee hours every night. I'm 73, but I babysit my 2 yr old granddaughter every day, so I can't read during the day. :( It took me 2 nights plus Saturday to finish.
The chararecters come alive, the plot twists surprised me, which is unusual! I now plan to go back to the beginning of the series and read them all. I may even re-read "The Dragon's Daughter " when I finish the ofhers. :))

Well done

Was hoping that the Royal was some kind of rare shifter!
Was entertaining and fascinating to learn about the new country and people. Gave us enough without making us shake head with unrealistic items.

The pairing was great and I hope his Sister will become part of third generation story. She was a scene stealer.

Only thing I was disappointed in was how late the “queen” was to report the assault (attempted murder, rape). She had mentioned doing so early on but waited until some “women” came out?

What a story! Julianna goes to Scotland as envoy to form alliances for her brother. She never expected that a painting would cause so much trouble. For Duncan he has had a thing for the woman in the painting ever since he was a child. Imagine his surprise when the very woman almost knocks him down in his home and turns out to be his true mate! There is so much drama going on in this story that will draw you all in and keep you mesmerized until the last page. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

Loved It

I really enjoyed this book. Not only did it have the elements that I look for (drama/excitement, humor, and a bit of steam), but it shed some light on other stuff (like how Sebastian got his dragon).

I loved Jacob and Delacroix. I can't remember who Jacob's mother is (did Quinn marry a witch?), so I want to know how he got his power...and Delacroix... what in the world?! I'm really looking forward to the next book!

Kind of addicted

I started this series with the first True Mates which were the stories of the parents. This is the series of their children. They are all about 4 1/2 stars. I need to know what happens at the very end. It would be very helpful to have a list from the first series of the marriages.🔥🔥🔥/5

A break to the Desert

This story kinda feels like a time out... Its a good story mostly about the Dragon friend of the couple in the last story, and the daughter o the Dragon Sebastian. The mage part is maybe not very strong because it like a last minute add on that the mages are even there. The story is good but its not the best in the series....

Fabulous story

I think this one is my favorite so far of the kids but I really want Cross book. I love that Deedee ended up with another dragon. Now there is two of them and they had a baby boy. I hate that they are so far away from her family but with everything going on it’s works out for the best.

Great read

These series are lighter reading. I’m a bit of a psycho reader so I will sit and read a whole book in one sitting, usually 4-6 hours start to finish, great series with a captivating story line.

Very interesting

If you have not read Sebastian’s story (Deedee’s father) you need to before you read this. We finally find out exactly why he was turned into a dragon. This is a great romance and loved the intrigue. So happy it answered some questions.
