I've said it before, but sometimes I'm a bad person. I cheated on my twelfth grade math final, I've run countless yellow lights, and I gossip about how hot my kickass best friends are. (Good thing my job as a guild bartender doesn't require moral perfection.)

But there's bad, and then there's bad. And I'm not sure which applies to a certain dark druid/wanted

not to be emo on main, but that ending just about made me die and i don't think i'm exaggerating. me?? prone to exaggeration? please.

ANYWAY. it's hard to review a book in a series without any types of spoilers, so here's your warning. spoilers for the spellbound books may or may not appear. read at your own risk.

to avoid sounding like a broken record, i'm gonna skip how utterly in AWE i am of marie's storytelling skills. i've said it before and i'll keep saying it: she is a master of upping the

Did you think I was going to give this anything less than 5 stars? If so, you don’t know me very well.

Also, I just recently finished Game of Thrones (I'm behind the times, I know I know). So expect a certain theme from my gifs over the next several reviews =D

Druid Vices and a Vodka has it all:

My death by feelings?

Druid Vices picks up about a month after The Alchemist and an Amaretto and also after the events of Slaying Monsters for the Feeble. I've been waiting and waiting for

Star Rating: 5 Stars!

I truly needed a week to write a review after I read this because i’ve been completely dumbfounded, and so freakin’ emotional over this installment in the series. I honestly didn’t know HOW to review it, because (*feels dizzy*), I felt exhilarated , and excited, and then well, like I was slapped across the face, which spun me in a never ending circle (after a good night’s sleep I recovered, no worries... haha, although I am still spinning I won’t lie).

Reading this... I felt

Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy at no cost from the publisher/author. All opinions in my review are my own.

Annette Marie knows how to get the blood pumping through my veins. I just finished reading Druid Vices and a Vodka and I am still on the edge of my seat feeling like I can't breathe. It's a glorious feeling and Marie does it to me every time.

I absolutely love how the plot thickens in each additional book that she releases in a series. She is such a master at crafting a story

I loved this book! A whole bunch of questions that fans have speculated about are answered.Freaking rollercoaster ride on steroids. All the feels! I freaking love and respect Tori so damn much.

You all are NOT ready for Zak. Hahahaha.

I could probably write a better review later, but it's been a long ass day....

I received a free copy of this book from the author and voluntarily reviewed it.

I love how this series and the spin-off are progressing and with this book being advertised as tying the series together even more strongly I was excited to dive in as soon as I got my copy. Druid Vices and a Vodka is another action packed read in this series with some big reveals and twists. Some bad things happening and ofcourse hope as well. It was an intense read for sure.

Yay!!!! Finally Zak returns!!!!!!!
Ugh I can't be the only one shipping Tori and Zak, right?
I mean Ezra is cool and all but he is kind of a bland character to Tori's passion (in general).
At least with Zak there is always banter or interesting conversations.
Also, in general Zak just seems to be an actual deep character to be interested in.

So many emotions!!!
I'm in shock. I'm exhilarated. I'm terrified. I feel betrayed. I feel hopeful. I'm curious and I'm desperate for more!

OMG! This book, guys! This book! It almost freakin' killed me with all the feelings!
It was so good!

The series has reached its boiling point. Everything is starting to come together. Some things are answered. GC Spellbound is growing ever more intwined with GC Demonized and you can just about see how it's all going to come together but key pieces of the puzzle

Ok So I’m changing my star rating (original rating was a 4) and I’m editing my review. I wrote my review immediately after finishing the book and I didn’t really give myself time to process. I was so depressed about the current status of the characters that I didn’t really focus on how good the book actually was. I instead focused on just how mad I was at Annette Marie for messing with my emotions (total joke...kind of). It was definitely a good read. I read it in basically one sitting and cried ...more

Oh my, where to even start? This was an action-packed book. So many wonderful things happened here. Zak is back - not giving up on him. Every character showed so much growth. Loved it. Annette Marie did a great job about extending the main story-line, with a fairly self-contained story, while bringing old and new characters together. Well done!

Can't wait until July for the next one...and yes I know Robin's book is sooner - but not that invested in her story.

I always get a little nervous whenever I adore a series, and we approach several books into it. Why? Well, I’m afraid the author will screw it up (looking at you LKH) or the author will grow disinterested, and the books will become boring. That definitely isn’t the case in any way with this one. There is a big reveal, sort of, about Tori’s past that is just…heartbreaking. We get to see Zak again (yay!!), and by the end, I was so angry at him. However, I have my suspicions about how that all came ...more

Wow, things really have heated up this time and Tori really goes the extra mile to help a friend. This book is a wind up to the big finish so not all her friends are safe yet - but she gets some surprising help along the way. Looking forward to the next Demonica book and Robin's pieces of the puzzle before the next Tori book comes out.

So are we just gonna hit pause on the Ezra thing or....?

Do we have time for a druid detour?? I am CONCERNED for my BOI.
Solid 5.0. Druid Vices and a Vodka was absolutely agonizing (in a good way).

Tori and Kai go on a mission to rescue Zak, who's been captured by the MPD.

We already knew how great Tori was, and she continues to impress under pressure. A lot of that pressure comes from Zak. I have loved his character since we first met him, but in this book, Marie makes it obvious that he's not the great guy we thought he was. (I'm still holding out hope though.) The problems are compounded when

This series just gets better and better. I love every character, I love the storyline, I love the world building. This book hit me in the feels and I’m so upset about certain events, but I trust the author! I can’t wait for the next book. A LOT happens in this one, and by the end you’re left reeling

Annette Marie knows how to stir things up and always at the right moment.
After this book Tori’s adventure will be different and with much more higher stake.

First book of 2020 and it soooo did not disappoint! I mean, how could that be when the book was completely badass? Druid Vices is very intense. Everyone that I loved then, I now distrust. Everyone I hated... is now that bad? Interesting! This installment of the Guild Codex has proven to be quite the extraordinary chaotic adventure.

2020 for reading is looking fantastic so far!

If this werent after the last book (which i didnt like at all) then itd probs get a average 3 star but since it was pretty good again and my expectations were pretty low this time its getting a 4. I will say i prefer longer series such as this that are fantasy action adventure ish to have consitent spread throughout the book solid romance rather than here there everywhere minimal and pg level stuff at best. Gimme more good stuff and less sad sucky problems. My babies deserve happiness and more ...more

Best book of the series so far! These books just keep getting better and better. I love Tori and Ezra sooo much. Can they puh-leeease just be together already? I need them to be( You hear me Annette?) I need it.
This book had so much action and adventure going on. If you liked the previous books you will love this one. Can’t wAit for next book!

Sounds like this book is going to include a certain durid. is it weird that I like zak. like alot. maybe too much.
I missed him in the other books.
Ha! I'm too excited I could scream!
I absolutely cannot wait for this book. this series has being mind blowing! PERFECTION! I tell you.

Can we just have an entire Zak spinoff series, please? I flippen love him and Twiggy. 'Bacon?' in rose petals caused peals of laughter.

I don't think that Annette appreciates just how hard she is making it to review her books.... Not only am I doing my very best to make my reviews completely spoiler free (NOT THE EASIEST THING TO DO WHEN YOU ARE SIX BOOKS DEEP IN A SERIES!) but I'm also finding myself struggling to find different ways to gush about every book she has ever written.

I mean, how often can I mention the fabulous, amazing and wonderful multi dimensional characters? Or the relationships and friendships that have me

Review of books 4-6 will be overlapping but slightly tweaked for each book.

The series really builds in intensity. Starting at book 4 the stakes get higher in every book. There is peril coming at our fab 4 from all sides. In the first 3 books we've gotten a pretty good sense of our main character Tory but in these books we get to know more about the various side characters. They have real weaknesses and flaws. There are no perfect people in these books and it is done really well. The action gets

What a rollercoaster! i'm really glad i could read this in one sitting because if i had to take a break i would have been in a state of anguish rarely reached because of a book. This is fabulous, there is tension, anguish, humour, lot of action and sometimes really moving moments....i absolutely loved this new instalment and really the next one can't be fast enough at this point.

I loved Zak since the beginning i still feel for
