Where or where to start...this is book two of this series and it's every bit as good, if not better than the first book. I do think you need to read book one before this one, or you may be lost or at the very least won't enjoy this one as much because you don't know the first half of the story. Princes of the Lower East Side by Meredith Allison is the second book in the Scalisi family series. I think I liked this book even better than the first!

It takes off just after the first ends where Mia is spending time with her family in Scilly, relaxing on the beach enjoying her blood oranges and talks with retired gangsters.

After some time with new found family in Sicily, Mia Scalisi is back in New York with a new job and some new problems.
Mia quickly finds out that while she was gone, things in the business have changed.
This story moves fast as Mia takes care of business and family and builds a community for herself. Lots of ups and downs, danger, action, and a little romance made for a fun and exciting read.
