A stranger in a strange land
Megan Starke has given up believing in knights in shining armor. With an unrewarding job and a failed marriage, no one would confuse her life with a fairy tale. No one is coming to save the day or carry her off to a romantic fantasy. So when she wakes up in a magical world ...more
This is the first time I've read anything by this author and I must say I'm quite please with her writing skills and her storytelling... I thought this was going to be a little Rinky-dink read but boy was I wrong...*SMH* I'm so glad I ...more

I have had this book on my kindle for months, if not years tbh. After having read previous books by this a ...more
Light, easy read with the right amount of chemistry between symbiotic Seelie twins and their human mate. The sexy times are not gratuitous and had the perfect amount of steam. This m/f/m story contains light BDSM.
This story was pretty weak compared to the Bliss series book I've read. Despite the average rating for Bound, I'm interested in the next book, Beast, which is about the twin's vampire cousin Dante. If you're looking for a story with a strong plot and m/f/m then I'd recommend I ...more
Our main men in this tale are symbiotic twins. Meaning they share a soul. Two halves of a whole and they need to "bond" with their sexual partner that they will share in order ...more
***warning, I got into some detail in this review so if you don't like spoilers you may not want to read this review***
This was a great start to a great series. I've read the series before but decide to reread and do a full review this time. Meg, Cian and Beck are all great and I loved seeing them get together. I really like all of Sophie Oak's work, she's an autobuy for me.
Megan is from Fort Worth, TX. She has 2 degrees but works in as a store manager. She is recently divorced from ...more
Sophie Oak is great at world building and creating a community of characters, which is one of my favorite thing about her. Her communities are so detailed that not only do I feel like I know what its like to live there, but I'm happy there too.
As burnt out on fantasy as I'm feeling, this felt fresh. The symbiotic twin twist to menage was fun as well. The twins are extreme characters because they are half ...more
It has the usual hunky males but these are symbiotic twin brothers that share a soul and need a bondmate to complete them. This was a bit of a different spin on menage. Since the brothers share one soul ...more
This was my first Sophie oak book and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't expect such wonderful characters. The story line I thought was pretty solid too, of course the sex wasn't half bad either. If yo are offended by explicit sex and multiple partners then this book isn't for you. It was however very good for me. 4 stars.
So begins my reaffirmation that a brilliant author can make silk out of anything. Story line paced. Hunks twice the fun, sex - hot. I'm ...more
I have read quite a few books from Sophie Oak and she always tells a great story, lots of humor and tons of steam.
I was enthralled by this story from the first page. In fact, I couldn't stop reading, even though it was nearly 1:30 in the morning.
Mrs. Oak's ability to bring life to remarkable characters, wonderful settings, interesting universe and hot, sweaty, lady-parts-throbbing sex make this book much fun to read.
Truly a exciting read. Next one features Dante and I just have to know what mischief he will get into.
As always with this genre, there are some problematic aspects that should not be romanticize, so it's good to read it with that awareness.
I miss some fae story and I’ve been finding some books for my fix and then I saw this one on the feeds and its Sophie Oak and fae and I have to check this out fast.
Bam! Ménage, too? Ha! That’s just it, I guess.
What I love about the fae culture is that they have weird proclivities in sex sometimes. Doesn’t matter the gender, who their partner is as long as they are upfront about it. But it appeals to me so much when they are able to feel this indescribable feeling of possessiveness. But this one
LENGTH: 306 pages
"She'd done the only thing she knew to do. If she was staying with him, then she needed to start training him. Sure, it usually went the other way. The submissive got trained by the Dom, but Meg had decided that her Dom was a dumbass, and things would work differently with them."
"'I want you to run,' Cian whispered into her ear, 'run and don't look back.' He was such a drama queen."
and many more....
Overall: I loved this story from the very beginning till the end. I didn't always care for Beck because he could be a big douche but after Beck and Meg reached the cottaged to Cian the whole story picked up and off it went. Meg and Ci's connection was really fun and hot to read about and you can't forgot about good ol Dante. I think he added that extra spice to this story that every story needs.
I Highly Recommend if you love a good Fae romance
Sophie Oak, my queen of menage, has left her cowboys at home to plunge me into the fantastic world of hot Fae kings, vampire planets, and the woman who changes all of their lives. BOUND, which I hope and pray is the first of a series, was brilliantly written, amazingly erotic, and utterly captivating, but it left me with one question: who knew fairies could be so hot???
This is the story of Megan, a human, who wakes up chained in some kind of tent, being tended to ...more
A Whipped Cream "BEST BOOK"
Kidnapped by a demon, sold by a gnome and bought by the King of the Seelie Fae….and let’s not forget the consort seeking vampires and greedy goblins thrown in just for fun!
Megan Starke doesn’t believe in fairytales. She’s not model thin, she doesn’t have a great job, heck her parents don’t even seem to care when she goes missing. In short, Meg is alone. So it made sense when she questioned the new reality s ...more
Sophie Oak is an amazing author/writer. When reading the synopsis for this book I just had to read it. Imagine three different worlds, earth plane, vampire plane and faery plane. A human is abducted and taken to faery plane to be sold to whom ever survived a fierce fight. This story is full of adventure, passion and is somewhat humorous in its own way.
Megan does some dumb moves after she is in journey to her new home with her husband Beckett. She needs to realize that she is not ...more
I would say I pretty decent paranormal (menage) romance. Although it felt more like a second book to me because some of the explanations were a little light.
Megan is a human that is kidnapped by alien traffickers. They are selling women to become bondmates to other Fae and vampire races (who all live on different planes from Earth). Apparently only certain women (human or otherwise) are compatible. Megan of course doesn't know what the hell is going on when she is chained up in a room ...more
This is the first paranormal work of this author I've read and I was impressed how she wrote a story with bdsm and erotica in a different setting. Other authors struggled, but Ms Oak pulled it off with this one.
Meg woke up in a different world and the mystery on who wanted her there is unsolved til the end. Beck was the first of the twins to have met her and instantly felt her as their bondmate. Meg has her needs ...more
Okay so Beckett needed a smack but I understand why he acted the way he did. His saving grace was that he cared and was never shown how to act on it. On a hunt for a bond mate to save him and his twin brother, he meets Megan. A tart and sweet human woman from Earth, Megan was fit to be tied.. well chained litterly. With a potty mouth that wou ...more

“Of course, master,” the computer said with an inviting smile. “Which pornographic material should I seek out today?”
Dante grinned. “Really? You can do that?” He felt Meg’s stare. “Nothing like that.”
