I have some mixed feelings about Sweet Temperaments. I loved Lewis and Christopher. Christopher took a while, but I fell for him just as hard as I fell for Lewis. This story is a very slow burn, and that caused one of my issues here. This isn’t a very long book, but the majority of it seemed to be a “will they or won’t they” or “do they or don’t they” story. It began to drag a bit. I plugged along, and was thrilled the men were finally together. Sweet Temperaments
Lewis and Christopher - A Happily Ever after in everyday life!

When I first started reading Sweet Temperaments, I thought the author was leading me down an altogether different path. The characteristics MC, Christopher, displayed reminded me very much of someone on the spectrum. It wasn't because of his social awkwardness, but the fact that it seemed he kept missing social cues altogether. He didn't come across as someone angry or anything, just someone hard-wired differently. That language I

If you're looking for a quick, cute, semi-slow burn, co-workers-to friends - to lovers, book with just all kinds of happy in the end, I would give this book a read.

Book is a short story, written from the POV of Lewis, as he tries to understand his standoffish, anti-social coworker, whom he has a crush on. As Lewis slowly works to get Christopher (never

I quite liked this. I don’t read a lot of fiction involving gay relationships, so I don’t know where this story ranks on that whole scale, but I thought it was handled very well. Especially with Christopher’s secret. That was beautifully worked in, and I love how it was a major part of his and Lewis’ relationship, but it wasn’t the only aspect of their relationship.

Lewis and Christopher are so cute

Sweet Temperaments starts off as a witty and fun office romance, with Lewis pining after Christopher. I'll admit I wasn't sure about Christopher in the beginning. He comes across as a bit standoffish, but that is soon explained, and the story takes a more serious tone. That's not to say that the wit and humor are all gone, far from it. But, we do have some serious subject matter, and I have to say that the author handled it wonderfully. From Lewis' initial shock to how this pair works it all ...more

This story was alright but didn’t hit home for me. I think Lewis has good intentions when he is first trying to catch Christopher’s attention but he is very emotional and flies from one feeling to the other too quickly. I like that this pretty much gave a glance at their whole relationship form the beginning until they are older.

There were a lot of time jumps that I didn’t realize in the first part of the book until it suddenly says it’s been over a year. Farther in the book they are time

Some minor issues but overall an enjoyable read

When I started this story, I have to admit I didn't find any of the characters likeable, and throughout the main character says some things that annoy me, but that is a tiny annoyance in this wonderful story. It is a love story through and through, and it deals with its central, difficult theme without resorting to the writers convenience of "hey, everyone this character knows is just fine with it."
This book is well worth the read

I love this story. The build up of the two heroes finally just becoming friends was amazing. Growing with them through the indifference, the friendship, the romance, the big tell then becoming parents and growing older was lovely. I’m new to this author and I’d like to say I’m very impressed. This story reeled me in. It touched me and made me feel quite strongly for the characters, both main and supporting. The story was impressive and very well told. The topics were real and handled very well. ...more

This is a well written , slow burn romance with strong characters in Lewis and Christopher. The author does a great job building their story and brings a sweet and sexy romance with some steamy and sexy fun times. She moves the story quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

When I have picked the book to read. I was expecting a funny and steamy read. But, the book is much more. It is well written with great characters and plot. It is the background story and reality that creates realty in the story. It is about love.... Yes. But, also much more. It is just read book for everyone who looks more than fluff and sex in their reads.

A short, sweet afternoon read. Finished the book in one sitting !

'Sweet Temperaments' is a lovely tale of two men, opposite in character and the beautiful bond that develops between them over time and lots of coffee (*googly eyes*).

Like the blurb suggests, it starts off seeming very much like a tale of unrequited, kinda-stalkerish love on Lewis'

This book wasn't what I was looking for. I think I was looking for something that really focused on Christopher's reclusive nature and how they developed a relationship despite/because of it, but I didn't feel like I got that. Christopher's secret, which contributes to but is not the only reason for his reclusive nature, seems to be the big hurdle and once
