I will be honest, I didn't go looking for a book like this. I read mainly romances. I took a chance on this book, and now I am glad I did. Bloodshot is a powerful story about the love of a father for his daughter. The author has handled the subjects of drugs, crime, and death with realism while also showing compassion and empathy for both the addict and the families and friends affected.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I would love to read more.

Emotionally charged with trying to save an opioid addicted Daughter hits way too close to people into life. This is reality for some families and this is a wonderful story.
