Great Immortal Romance, can be read as a stand-alone.
I really liked this book from start to finish. This was the 30th book in the Argeneau series and the first one that I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed it without feeling like I missed anything at all in not reading any of the previous books in the series.
There was plenty of background information given to explain what was going on and it was done in a way that completely fit in with the story and didn’t feel like added spots of background ...more

No. Just no. I mean I'm all for a solid backstory but I need it to stay in the back!
It completely overshadowed the actual plot. And don't even get me started on the "romance" Ugh.

I was excited while reading this book to see that it revisits Port Henry and the characters from my very favorite book The Accidental Vampire.
The book synopsis gives you all of the important information, but what it fails to let you know is just how exciting this book really was, how convoluted the bad guys became and how sexy this read was going to be in thought and in the deed!

I have been provided with a review copy of Immortal Born through Edelweiss for an impartial review. This is the thirtieth book in the Argeneau series and I didn’t think after thirty books in one series that you could come up with something new to say or a completely new storyline to take place. Well I was proven wrong this was just such a great book and I was just pleasantly surprised with this new story. I really enjoyed getting to meet these new characters and get to go along on their journey.

Unfortunately, no. After following the series for so long and loving all the Argeneau’s, there were errors that really stood out. Where was the usual Sans character chemistry?? I really enjoyed Allie and Mangus as individuals, but the bad guy and his lifemate had more chemistry than the main couple, and that’s just sad. Allie was interesting, knowing just enough about this world to be in danger and dangerous at the same time. Love this addition to the Argeneau family!!
Allie is amazing, with her willingness to step up and be mom to Liam and her mama bear is on point.
Marcus, an amazing hero, he is so excited to have a life mate but he is willingly to wait for Allie to accept a whole new world.

I love this series. When I read the synopsis I was very excited. I knew that this book was going to be great. What I was not expecting was the time shift. There are a couple of things that happened within this book that surprised me.

WOW, book #30? Who would have thought ? I have to say again that I miss those laugh out load earlier books that I loved so much, these newer books are more drama and violence with a dash of passion thrown in but they are still entertaining but in a much different fashion.

This is probably in my opinion the best book in the series. It had so much more going on than the others. But was really good. Leaves room for a spin-off too if she decided to go that route. Can't wait till the next book and it hasn't been that long since it came out.
I once re-heated up a potato in the microwave. It was delicious and I devoured it. THAT potato & I had more of a story and passion than %80 of Lyndsay Sands Immortal Born!

I didn't hate this completely, but it reminded me that the series is sooooooo long in the tooth at this point, it's practically impossible to keep track of except by the diehard stans.
In the 5,982,457 version of the Argeneau immortal (don't call them vampires) romance, Hero A meets Heroine B, his potential life mate. We rehash what makes a possible life mate - can't read them or control them, suddenly hungry for food, other can read you, and the sex is so ahmazing you pass out. ...more
