I thought the idea was nice but the execution was a little heavy handed and the connection to the woman who brought Lucy into Verity's life was shaky.
When a ghost from her past comes to ask for help she has no idea what kind of adventure awaits her. First she must save a sow and her cubs, then some truth is revealed and then a wrong must be righted. But can she handle doing all three before the night is up, or worse before the sow and her cubs die a horrible death?

I loved this book. And I've loved every book in the Southern Ghost Hunter series.
It follows verity and her sidekick ghost Frankie also her pet skunk Lucy as they go on ghostly adventures set in the town of Sugarland.
