Jack Polo’s novel is one to read and re-read. His dialogue between characters is natural and not forced. His mystery elements include just enough crime solving and suspense to carry readers along the hero’s journey. One element many will find surprising is Polo’s ability to draw an image so clear that readers feel they are part of the story. Yet, he maintains just enough guesswork to make readers question what’s next.

I love mystery detective stories, and this one is one of the better ones. The story has a great balance of crime-solving and social interaction between the characters. The dialogue between the characters is terrific, and the fight scenes were well described.

I enjoyed the characters of Matt and Wade and wouldn't mind finding out what happens to them next.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes well-told detective mysteries.

Jack Polo is an award-winning screenwriter whose fiction reads like a verbal camera -- taking you into the hearts and minds of the people in his book. From star-crossed lovers Cole and Mollie, to Nikolai Voronov, the Machiavellian Russian oligarch who wants no survivors, to the dark evil of Igor Petrak, the psychotic assassin. The result is a page-turner of the first order. This is a can't-put-dow ...more
