Author's personal tale of developing the EDSAC, UNIVAC I, LARC with Mauchley and Eckert, later Remington Rand Univac. Does not spare us the technical details, which makes it especially wonderful for our engineers restoring vintage computers. Includes charming childhood history with radio enthusiasts and Ham radio, a lifetime interest. Lots of great B/W photographs.
