Though I myself don’t know much about sea travel, I’ve read a lot about how spooky the sea can become for unsuspecting sailors if they don’t keep their eyes open on the waters enough. I think, realistically, the mind can quickly play tricks on anyone, anywhere, but the atmosphere that the sea evokes can be so much more chilling. Gareth works for hire, anything anyone pays him to do; to fight in wars or as a hired muscle for rich people. Then his wife and kid get sick. He desperately searches for cure everywhere, but there is none. He keeps on hearing stories of Dineothan, a mysterious island nation when someone might know of a cure.
