A literal page turner, Freya's story is both wondrous and relatable. Readers are swept into a new world where mythological characters we know well, and some not as well...yet...give us insight to their individual personalities and powers. As a young goddess, Freya has not yet come into her own and, just when you think you've figured her out, she surprises you, and herself, again. Readers will relate to Freya's "human" side; we empathize with her pain and almost feel her power surge through us as ...more

We have all heard stories of Titans and Olympians. This is a new twist on old characters. We get to see some lesser mentioned gods, goddesses and Titans. This story has twists and turns in it making it exciting, captivating and wanting more. I couldnt put it down. You learn a different side to the world of Greek Mythology. Logan delivered a perfect balance of emotional needs to action packed drama. Well done and dying for book 2! I have questions I need answers to

I absolutely love Freya’s story. Logan Delayne has managed to put a unique spin on Greek mythology and I can’t get enough! If you love mythology with a dark edge pick up this book! You won’t be disappointed.

Wow, I’m blown away! It was amazing! It immediately reminded me of Madeline Miller’s Circe in the context of the Olympian vs Titan storyline but also in the beautiful and poetic language used. The story, of course, is very different. It brings new life to well known Greek myths and perhaps some characters that are not often explored in such detail. I love the main character Freya. She’s a mystery that I look forward to being explored more in the next novel. Freya and Alec’s relationship is ...more

Wow. Just wow.

This story gripped me right in its jaws and did not let me go! A vivid reimagining of the Olympian pantheon of gods.

We follow Freya, a titan that has fallen from her father's side in an effort to keep her sister safe, but all is not as it seems.

The story is well written, though a bit fast paced. One thing happens then another happens in the next paragraph, so it was easy to lose track of what would happen in the story. However, I did love it. It's not everyday you read about

Know all there is to know about the titans? Heard all the Greek Myths? I assure you, you have not.
Logan’s seamless word building will transport you to a gripping and epic tale of betrayal, self discovery and worth.

Freya’s story is one for the ages and one that will stand the test of time. New, gritty and gripping. I’ve been to the underworld and back with Freya!

Beware The Fallen by Logan Delayne was an amazing book. Gods, Titans, forbidden feelings, fierce and passionate hatred, what else could you want? Oh, you want revenge too? This book has it!! Freya and her sister have led a VERY VERY sheltered life until Cenia stole a shell. This book is full of everything you could want from a book. You're going to love it!! 5 stars and 2 thumbs way up.

Mythology go-to

I am a huge mythology fan and anytime something comes across my recommendations where an author puts their own spin on these stories it always is a must have for me. This story is incredibly addictive in a way that had me finishing it in 24 hours.. yes it was that good.

The books point of view is focused on Freya’s journey after being banished by her Titan father. Alone and scared awaiting judgement and death for her sisters crime of stealing a shell from Acherons son, Ascalaphus

I liked this story. It was a bit addicting and had a lot of action. I both liked and hated all the characters that showed up. I thought it was a twist to the usual story of Titans and Olympians and a great read. I liked the magic and the power as humans and "gods" showed up. I liked the twists and really wanted to slap a few characters, especially Freya's sister. I loved the mystery and trying to guess who the good and bad guys were. Freya was a blast to watch as she came into herself and her ...more

Great book..cliffhange ending

The storyline was written so vividly that I felt in another world that LD created. Great story lines with the Olympian characters. Freya is still growing into her power and mystery of who her mother was sounds interesting. I can't believed how the book ended though. I was really disappointed with major cliffhanger ending. Can't wait for book two. I hope it won't take a year or two though.

I enjoyed this book but did anyone else find inconsistencies with the story line. I was a little lost at times. And there were letters missing for some words. Overall I got the just of the book but I was confused more than once with minute pieces of the story.
