Two years ago, I didn’t know I had a stalker. The cops swore my fiancé’s murder was random.

Now, I know they were wrong. He’s been watching me, hiding in plain sight as I go about my broken life.

But he’s tired of watching. He wants me in his life, even if that means killing everyone close to me because for some reason, in his sick and twisted mind, that makes sense. I

What a well written psychological thriller. The twist in this book was scary and makes you wonder about the people you meet and the ones who can be closer than you think. The effects of what others may cause to your own thoughts and views. Where you may live a life in fear due to what you saw.
Paisley and Jaxon didn't realize that their meeting could have brought on the onset of a stalker that they didn't know about since he was someone that they have helped on the same night which neither

Thriller books are one of my favorite genres. So I was really excited to read it when the author sent me the copy.

This book by Emory was fast-paced, he didn't use unnecessary words or phrases just to make the book long. It was already exciting at the beginning and all through out, and that's really important so people will have the eagerness to read and finish the book. It was straight to the point and I really loved it.

Knowing that this is a debut book, the author really did an extraordinary

Look, this is just not a book I enjoyed.
The story follows Paisley and Jaxon and the stalker they picked up on the same night getting him out of a spot of trouble.
The book started off badly for me when we were introduced to all the characters with unusual names. I felt the start of an awfully cliche book coming on. From there it went downhill.

The characters weren't easy to connect to. They made silly mistakes and weren't very relatable. Their lives were in danger, and they weren't fazed in the

This was actually a pretty good Young Adult Psychological Thriller. There were multiple twists and turns to keep you guessing as to the outcome of situations and an intensity that continued throughout the entire story. The storyline was unique with a creepy, devious killer and intriguing characters to keep you entertained. The main characters had both suffered tragedies that years later would connect them in an unexpected way. They each had let those tragedies consume them and change them in ...more

Well that was a rollercoaster ride! Paisley has had a lot happen in her life, and her journey has made her a nervous wreck. She feels she cannot live her life fully due to her paranoia. Jaxon has had a rough life too, using alcohol as a crutch to get through life. Both these people live in what appears to be a quite rough area, and they meet outside their apartment block then Paisley has locked her keys in her car.

The pair very quickly become friends and it turns out they have a connection, but

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I did like the book and thought it was brilliant for a debut. I take my hat off to all authors I wish I had the talent! I just enjoy reading it!

The story was really good, there were lots of twists and turns in the book, but there were things I disliked about it.

I found the format confusing and would have preferred to see (‘)s the names were quite similar for some characters. I was also slightly confused about the best friend/cop -

Great debut psychological thriller! I could not put this one down , reading in my spare time at work and at home as much as I could just to see how this story unfolded.

The story slowly gives you little pieces of information and then the puzzle starts to fit together. See if you can figure out the plot twists before they happen!

The writing is easy to read and it is very exciting with a fast pace so you dont get bored. I can't wait for the next book as I am sure this will be a series!

This book...wow...so many twists! I couldn’t put it down, what an exciting page turner. It’s full of suspense, shocking revelations and so much more. Plus, I know know what a Glasgow Smile is. Lol. The book follows Paisley, completely broken after her fiancé was killed in front of her. Two years later she is still struggling. Does she have a stalker, is someone there or is it all in her mind... I don’t want to say too much in my review because I don’t want to spoil it, but you must read this! ...more

This is a great debut novel from this author. This New Adult Psychological Thriller is fast-paced, suspenseful, twisted, and intriguing. Paisley is a strong woman. Her past is heartbreaking. Jaxon is protective and supportive. I enjoyed reading this story, and I can't wait for the sequel.

What a great read. The writer keeps you engaged the entire time. I could not put the book down. There is so much going on that you just don't want to walk away from the story. I love Paisley and Jaxson. They both have broken spirits but they are strong characters. They have had a connection with each other for over two years but never realized it, until fate took its turn . Their friends are pretty awesome too, the main characters have a great support system. The book ends leaving you wanting ...more

I used to finish every thing I started but my time is more valuable. If it isn't well written I stop.

Not bad

This was a pretty good psychological thriller, true page turner . Paisley seems to find trouble everywhere she turns and it's definitely not good, at least that is how she feels until she meets Jaxon. She feels that things are finally working out for her, are her dreams going to come true?

On the outside, I’m a boring husband and father of three with too much debt from a master’s degree I’ll never use, a horrible conversationalist because meaningless conversations with people I don’t know make me uncomfortable (probably because I’m weird and can’t hold a serious conversation to save my life), an introvert trying to succeed in a profession where introverts thrive but still not ...more
