Finding love in The Big Easy is a gamble … especially when he’s your new boss.
Event planner Samantha Masson had sworn off alpha men after a nasty divorce. The last thing she was looking for was a man with an ego bigger than his bank account. Too bad that was exactly what she found when she spent a wild night in the arms of a masked stranger.
Planning a Halloween masquerade gala for the infamous Victor Beaumont made a nice addition to her reputable portfolio. She just hadn’t planned on becoming a notch on his bedpost … or falling for him in the process.
But there was more to the man behind the mask …
Millionaire Victor Beaumont owned the largest rum distillery in New Orleans. He had power, wealth, and all that came with it, including the crushing weight of responsibility. He would gladly walk away from everything for a chance to be his own man, but tradition wouldn’t allow it … and neither would his pride.
As a skilled actor, he had everyone fooled with his arrogance and charming wit. Until he met the infuriatingly talented and beautiful Samantha, who saw right through him. From rendezvous to romance, he couldn’t keep his hands off of her.
To keep her, he would have to take his mask off once and for all …
Kat Addams is an author of contemporary romantic comedies. She’s had a passion for making readers laugh since she wrote her first over-the-top comic book at the age of eight, earning her high marks and concerning looks from her grade-school teachers. She’s a graduate of the University of Memphis, where she studied English literature and creative writing, and fell in love with the rom-com genre. Her books can be described as equal parts shameless and heartwarming with a heavy dose of heat.
When she’s not writing about exotic men and daydreaming of worldly travels, you can find Kat in her hometown of Memphis, drinking craft cocktails on patios and raising her mini-me with a girl-power attitude—but not necessarily in that order. In her downtime, she loves to embark on outdoor adventures, empower other women, and lose herself in good books and good music.
Kat satisfies her darker side by writing paranormal romance with wicked humor under the name Fritzi Cox. Fritzi provides Kat with an outlet to cause mayhem and debauchery with an element of suspense. Whether you’re reading a book from either Fritzi or Kat, you’re guaranteed a hilarious adventure.
Mr. Big Ego is book three in the Dirty South series by Kat Addams. This book can be read as a stand alone. It’s my very first book by this author!
Victor Beaumont is thirty five years old and is the CEO of New Orleans largest rum distillery, Fleur-De-Lis. This wasn’t Victor’s dream in life, to be the head of his family’s business. But none of his other brothers were interested. He was the only one willing to step up. Victor devoted everything to the company with the help of his somewhat curmudgeonly assistant, Sara. But lately, he had been feeling a void in his life.
“Loneliness was creeping up on me out of nowhere. I had a restless feeling as if I was finally waking up.”
Samantha Masson owned her own event planning business. She was still trying to get her business off the ground. Victor Beaumont was her biggest client. She only ever dealt with his grumpy assistant, Sara. She had seen photos of Victor and knew how good looking he was but had never actually met him. But she was okay with that because she already knew what he was like. He had money to burn and an ego to match. His requirements at his events were crazy and over the top but she always accommodated him. She needed his business.
Samantha was hurt badly five years earlier by her cheating ex-husband. She is finally ready to try out dating again but has no idea how to start. She is in the middle of a huge Beaumont Halloween gala when she is approached by a very sexy masked man who sweeps her off her feet. Later when the masks come off, she realizes who she was with, the one and only Victor Beaumont, her boss!
Victor and Samantha know they shouldn’t. He’s her boss. But they can’t stay away from each other. They swear that it is just business only. No feelings. But you know that never works. Because the more time they spend together, the stronger their connection becomes, and feelings are most definitely involved.
These two have some crazy shenanigans together, all the while keeping their masks in place in public. Victor is able to be himself when he is alone with Samantha but in public, he still feels the need to be someone else, not to let anyone see the real man.
With meddling assistants, crazy brothers and long work hours, Victor and Samantha have plenty of obstacles to overcome. Samantha had sworn she wouldn’t get involved with a man like Victor ever again. She sees the real Victor but will he ever really be able to be that Victor?
This is a pretty crazy, wild ride. I didn’t really feel the connection as much as I wanted to with these two. I think it was just because of all of their over the top craziness. Still, it was fun and sweet and sexy and I enjoyed it. It was a quick read and I enjoyed the epilogue.
Characters Victor (35, owner of Fleur-De-Lis, the largest rum distillery in New Orleans): The following words/phrases were used to describe Victor: alpha, perfectionist, egomaniac, douche canoe, asshat, sexy, successful, control freak, micromanager, Mr. Fancy Pants, Phantom Man, Dicktor, Voodoo Victor, Asshole-In-Chief, charmer, Voodoo Noodle.
Three things about Victor: - Three brothers, but he is the only one who stayed and carried on the legacy of Fleur-De-Lis (even though it wasn’t his desire) - He secretly wants to be a magician in a circus 🎪 - He feels like there is a void in his life. Something is missing
Some quotes about Victor: The mask I had worn for Halloween wasn’t my only mask. I practically wore a mask every day. I had to when I was surrounded by fake people who only cared about my money and what I could do for them. But that was exactly how I behaved too. Fake.
“loneliness was creeping up on me out of nowhere. I had a restless feeling, as if I was finally waking up.”
“I still feel so … empty though. I’m not passionate about my job. But I’m a Beaumont, and making rum is what is expected of me. Plus, none of my other brothers stepped up to carry on the family business. So, it’s all mine.” “They had other plans with their lives. But I couldn’t just leave my parents hanging like that, you know? Someone had to do it."
Samantha (30’s, Event Planner-owns her own business): The following words/phrases were used to describe Samantha: uptight, frigid, perfectionist, gorgeous, Ice Queen, stubborn, Ms. Independent, smart, feisty, stuffy, creative, genuine.
Three things about Samantha: - Divorced for 5 years (marriage ended because her ex cheated on her with her best friend) - Stays far away from the alpha-male type - Fleur-De-Lis rum distillery is her largest client
Some quotes about Samantha: These days, my parties were for the elite, the wealthy, the people who had too much money and time, the bored housewives and braggart husbands, and—the most annoying of all—the single alpha males, the forever bachelors.
After my very young and very dumb marriage to the Douche Who Must Not Be Named, I had learned how to quickly spot an egotistical rat bastard.
Alpha males and their big egos could charm the pants off of anyone—except me.
The Story: Victor and Samantha have a wild, sexy interlude at an event and after that they can’t keep their hands off each other. When Victor is with Samantha he can be himself. However, the trick is he has to learn how to remove the mask in his public life too and Samantha has to learn how to trust again.
My Thoughts: The following are my thoughts about this book: - I liked the conversations between these two. They could laugh together and it was fun laughing with them. - These two definitely had sexual chemistry! 🔥 - Victor had moments of immaturity, which were actually pretty funny. “He hopped up out of bed and onto the other bed, gyrating his hips and swinging his dick around like a helicopter blade. I was going to be sore for a week.” 🚁🤣 He clearly brings some fun to the bedroom. - The House Of Blues is considered a "dive bar"?? I guess I have a different idea of what a dive bar is. Lol. - The mooning, flailing noodle, cop incident was funny... 😂 “Hey, Officer.” I saluted. “Mr. Beaumont.” The mustached man narrowed his eyes down at me. “It seems we had a disturbance this evening, didn’t we?” “Yes. I’m so sorry about that. I apologize, and it won’t happen again. Ever. Never. No, sirree!” “Good. I can’t imagine your mom would want all of her neighbors over here to see her son’s flailing noodle cruising down the street.” - I liked how Samantha stood up to Sara. I never like to see the “evil” character get the upper hand. - Where did the kink come from? It seemed a little out of left field - In the business world, Victor was in control. Outside of the business world, Victor seemed to be klutzy or just one of those types where something always goes a little wrong...... he crashed his scooter 🏍 while trying to be cool, he got pulled over for flailing his "noodle" 🍆 😉, the kink club wrestling masks were another oops. He always took it in stride, which made the scenarios he kept getting into pretty funny. - I loved Lisa....she had Samantha's back. "If you want me to throw a drink in her face—or his—I will. You know I’ll do it!” - This was a pretty quick read, it flowed well and I stayed engaged
Summary: - POV: dual POV - Tropes: boss/employee, financial disparity (H rich/h not so much) - H likable? Yes - h likable? Yes - h virgin? no - First time they kiss: Chapter 1 - First time they sleep together: Chapter 1 - steamy? Yes - OW/OM drama? not really. Both exes make an appearance but nothing really significant. - H/h cheat? no - Did I skip pages? No - Big secrets? no - Did I cry? no - Did I laugh? yes. Plenty of lol moments - Cliffhanger? no - Epilogue? yes - Recommend? yes
Quotes She’s probably into that BDSM stuff, except she would be the denominator. Isn’t that what it’s called?”
“Sara wasn’t a fan of anyone, but I was pretty sure she was even less of a fan of Samantha. Not because Samantha was a hard-ass, but because Samantha was supermodel gorgeous, and Sara had the face of a puckered butthole.”
“He could win people over so easily by his charm that they would forget how much of a butt nugget he was.”
“You told me you were putting yourself back on the market, and I volunteer as tribute. So, how about a real date?”
“I crawled out after her and prayed to whatever voodoo magic was in the air that I wouldn’t embarrass myself any more tonight. Spoiler alert: I would.”
“It’s the alcohol. It makes me all philosophical and smarty-farty sometimes. It makes me do dumb things too. Like this. Have you ever stuck your head out of the sunroof of a limo before?”
“Want to see just how noodly my hard-as-a-rock, overcooked noodle is?”
“I like you, Samantha Masson. So does my overcooked noodle.”
“You have the face of a bulldog, the posture of an ape, the personality of a fourteen-year-old girl with too much time on her hands, and a penchant for drama.
“I’m okay. I feel a bit better. I think I broke my fever. I left a wet spot on your bed, and it’s not the good kind—no cuddle puddle.” That didn’t come out right. “I didn’t mean that I peed the bed. I meant that, I sweat it out …” “I know what you meant, goof.”
Book 3 in the Dirty South series and the second that I have read from this author and I loved it. Each book can be read as a standalone. Loved Samantha and Victor. They had great chemistry between them. This book will have you laughing so much. You are going to have a smile on your face when you are finished with this book. I can’t wait to read more from this author. Great read. Highly recommend it.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
As a Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy and promised an honest review. Here it is.
Rating: 4 stars (of 5).
In general: From irritating, pretentious boss to lover.
Main characters: - Samantha Masson. She’s an ambitious, talented event planner. After her break-up with a cheating husband, she works very hard to pay the bills and to save money so she can buy a nice home to replace the noisy apartment with the irritating neighbor in which she lived after her divorce.
- Victor Beaumont. He’s the CEO of Fleur-De-Lis, the largest rum distillery in New Orleans, a Beaumont family company. He too had a bad break-up when his fiancee cheated on him with his brother. Since then he concentrated on the growth of his firm. To achieve this among other things he gives big parties to take good care of his clients, business relations and the media.
Samantha and Victor meet when Sam is the event planner of his parties. She gets her instructions from Sara, Victor’s bitchy PA. Sam thinks that Victor is an egomaniac with wild ideas about his parties which she has to carry out immediately and to perfection, so he comes spectacularly in the spotlights. During one of his parties Samantha dances with a masked man. She likes him and they have a one-night-stand. At the end of the night she discovers that Victor was her dance partner. The author, Kat Addams, then describes how the relationship between Sam and Vic develops. In a not so original plot she creates some credible extra characters (Lisa, Malcolm), interesting dialogues and a few hot sex scenes. Moreover she gives interesting info about the event planning business. For me the book was a pleasure to read.
Uniquely captivating! From the characters to the story to the writing style nothing is cookie cutter. Everything about this book is unique. Samantha is truly quirky with her outlook on life accompanied by her obvious joy of simply living. Victor is closed off because of people using him for his wealth. After her divorce from an absolute louse, she is reluctant to try again. Amazing characters and story are brought to life by her writing skills. I’m ready to read the first two books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was one hell of a roller coaster ride. Samantha and Victor's story was funny and sexy. This author has such a way with words that had me oohing and aahing and laughing so much. The two main characters had such chemistry and the sexy times were hotter than hot. I loved the secondary characters as well. I hope there's a story coming out about Victor's older brother and Lisa. I would love to read about all the clownish fun they had.
I got an early copy from hiddengems. Thank you for the opportunity. I really enjoyed this read, it was a little fast paced, but worked out well. The banter made me laugh, the dialogue got a little cheesy in places but that to me made it appealing. Even though it says its in a series it can be a standalone. I had not read the previous books but i think id like to now. Ill be looking forward to reading more from this author.
Fantastic billionaire romance. This is an entertaining story and the blurb gives readers a gist of what to expect. There are characters you’ll like and other characters not so much. There is plenty of angst, humor, and steamy times - hot! I received a complementary copy via Hidden Gems and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Addams.
Kat Addams is a new author to me, and she didn’t disappoint in this unique and steamy billionaire boss to lover romance! Mr Big Ego is the third standalone book in the Dirty South Series and surrounds Samantha an uptight, pretentious event planner and her egotistical, too hot for his own good boss Victor.
Samantha has sworn off alpha men for good after a nasty divorce but is ready to jump back into dating life with a one-night stand, if only she wasn’t so slammed. Work has been keeping her busy as she tries and deals with her egotistical boss and his silly ridiculously last-minute requests. Victor is at the top of his game, he has everything anyone could want but lately life as been feeling stagnant. He is hoping his Halloween bash will help shake him out of his funk and when he stumbles across a sexy kitty, he is sure his night is looking up.
Kat Addams has you hooked right from the start with the right amount of angst, humour and steaminess. The plot is well developed, and the main characters have smoking chemistry and are cute, hilarious and sexy. Overall this book was an enjoyable read with some unique, hilarious and sexy moments. Any fan of romantic comedy will absolutely devour this fun and sexy novel.
Why am I not surprised I snorted coke and choked on my Reese’s while reading a book from Kat Addams? Mr. Big Ego is her best one to date for me. A book that is based in NOLA and has plenty of shenanigans. What could go wrong? Victor the bada$$ owner of Fleur-de-Lis brewery I was totally smitten with his character. He was hilarious and let’s just say I will never think about a swirly ever the same ever again. What really made the book enjoyable was Samantha I related to her so much on a personal level. She is smart, sassy, and rough. Honestly, I couldn’t asked a character to be more like me. You know when you read a book and you think to yourself I would have so done that or I did do that. That’s what Samantha was for me. Kat Addams is making a name for herself with her funny as hell shenanigans that only she can some of up with and her strong female characters. If you want to spice up your library this book is the one you want. So download the book when it comes out, sit back, and laissez le bon temps rouler (Let the good times roll).
Can I tell you the only thing that I regretted when I asked for this book? I didn't know that it was the third in this series!!! Which totally sucked for me because now I have to go back and read the other two and if you know me and my reviews it is that I hate coming in later to a series and if I enjoyed them I start from the beginning, if I don't then I couldn't care less, this was not one of them, i have to know..I laughed and yelled, that is all I am telling grab a copy my friends!!!!
rcvd an ARC at no cost to author...voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
Mr. Big Ego (Dirty South #3) is just as wild, funny and crazy as Kat is herself. This is an enemies to lovers & workplace romance of wild & outlandish measure. I friggin loved it. Intermixed between the craziness of hot clowns, sexually explicit parrots, Mardi Gras, halloween parties of epic proportions, wrestling masks and crazy ex girlfriends is an equally steamy and sweet romance between Samantha and Victor. Two completely opposite people who have intense chemistry. But do they want the same thing? I laughed so much I had tears in my eyes but I flushed just as much at some of the super hot steamy scenes (especially at the club). This is just one of those books you can’t help but loving for its craziness. I love that Kat gives us a book that’s light and funny and steamy because honestly, I can’t read heavy books all the time. This is the perfect book to turn to when you need to smile and laugh. But it still a romance at heart and you will end this one completely satisfied. Also if you’ve read Kat before we also get a cameo in this book that had me literally screaming with happiness. Overall, I absolutely loved it and I think it’s a book I will turn to read again and again when I need to laugh, see two people fall in love and get some of the steamiest sex scenes ever. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
Mr. Big Ego is Victor Beaumont, who is running the family business, Fleur-De-Lis, which is the biggest rum distillery in New Orleans. Unfortunately, it wasn't his dream to run it, but his brothers had no interest in it whatsoever, so he made the sacrifice. Samantha Masson owns her own event planning company, but was still trying to get it off the ground, with Victor not only her biggest client, but biggest pain in her behind, as all of his requests were just ridiculous. She's never met him, but knows what he looks like, and she wants no part of it, except for his business. See, Samantha got divorced 5 years ago, and the way it all went down, well, she doesn't want anything to do with some hot man with too much money. She's fine with a simply living, as it truly does bring her joy, while Victor is super closed off because of people trying to use him for his wealth all the time, but something is changing in him, as he's starting to feel that something is missing. Now what will happen when these two opposites finally come face to face?! Well, I don't want to ruin the fun for you, so you'll have to hit that one click button to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
A Great Millionaire romance. The characters are funny and their story kept me smiling, laughing and happy throughout. Samantha is a sassy, headstrong event planner who was hurt in the past by an egotistical ex-husband. Thus she vows to stay away from alpha powerful males. Especially men like the arrogant Victor Beaumont, her major client. Victor appears to be a powerful, hard nosed playboy on the outside but he hides his true self to the world. But during a masked Halloween party, these two meet as masked strangers not realizing who each other are. After an intense night of pleasure, what happens the next morning when the masks come off and they see who rocked their worlds?
This is a wonderful RomCom that I highly recommend. It’s part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This reader hasn’t read the first two brother’s stories but trust me I will be picking them up soon. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 funny, zanny stars.
This was a 3.75 for me. I read Nashvegas Nights which was decent so when the opportunity to review Mr Big Ego came about I signed up for an ARC. I did not like this book as much as Nashvegas Nights and that's where I'll stop comparing them.
We start off with an indication that our H, Victor, is a hard-nosed exec that demands perfection. Those who read the book will know where that image comes from. After we actually meet him, he's just a 35-year-old goofball. Samantha was the normal one in this book but she just couldn't save the story for me. I felt like the side characters started to compete a little too much for book attention given their outlandish behavior. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.
Bippity-Boppity-Boom!!! This book was so amazing and refreshing to read. Kat Adams has done it again, bringing a unique entertaining romcom that grab my attention from page one. The main characters are Victor ( Mr. Egomaniac him self) and Samantha, talented event planner that has swear never to date another alpha a$$hole after a bad divorce. These two character’s interactions are Oh-so-funny, full of banter and plenty of shenanigans that made me laugh so hard and their sexy moments-OH BOY!!!! I want all of Victor’s magic tricks and voodoo magic he has to offer. So get ready to laugh, swoon all over Victor and Samantha and read through their crazy journey that I love so much. PS: No birds or Mexican wrestling mask were in real danger 😂.
A light, steamy rom com with lots of craziness to add to the fun. Samantha & Victor are such fun characters, that have a sexy banter so beautifully written. The crazy antics of Victor’s brother, Malcolm & Samantha’s friend, Lisa added to the to pure entertainment of this story. There was light angst & this story was the perfect length. This was my first book by this author, but won’t be the last. There were a few laugh out loud moments, but even more chuckles & wow that’s a little, no a lot crazy.
Kat Addams delivers an entertaining and steamy rom-com in Mr. Big Ego which is the third standalone book in the Dirty South Series.
Samantha & Victor have amazing chemistry, the banter is witty and sexy, and their overall relationship is fun. There is just the right amount of emotion, angst and awkward moments to make this story one that will have you laughing out loud!
This is my first book from Ms. Addams and certainly not my last!
Victor and Samantha enjoy a hot and steamy night together, only to figure out it should have never happened. But what happens when that one night gets under your skin...you work it out. And boy did they, lol. Enjoyable characters with a great storyline.
Victor and Samantha are the kind of characters to help you out after a rough day. They have a uniqueness and are far from perfect. The humor, heat and just how each scene and characters are described make Kat a one-click author.
I loved getting to see their hidden sides, to explore the craziness and climb mountains to make their romance shine like a beacon. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
Victor is Samanthas pain in the butt boss that has extremely hard demands for his parties that make her jump through hoops to complete! Little does she know that her impression is completely wrong and he’s actually a friendly guy who’s a big joker at heart.
I really enjoyed this book it was a quick easy read with characters you can love and root for. Grab your copy today you won’t regret it!
I received an arc in exchange for my honest review!
Having never read anything by Kat Addams before this book took me by surprise. First of all I wasn’t expecting it to be the absolutely over the top fun fest it was! I mean seriously, it had me laughing, rolling my eyes, snorting and wanting to reach into my Kindle and slap a couple of people upside the head HARD (I mean you Sara and Malcolm!). Samantha is a sexy single event planner with an aversion to douchey men and their like. She is sassy, spunky and sexy to boot. Victor a.k.a Mr. Big Ego, Asshole-in-Chief and/or Voodoo Victor Conjurer of Condoms is the head of his family owned business. He is wickedly funny, sexy as sin, goofy as hell and clueless AF when it comes to relationships. What a incredibly complicated match made in party planning heaven they make. With two main characters like this how can this be anything but a win win read? I can’t get over how fun this book was to read and how enjoyable it was to lose myself in Sam and Victor’s love story. If you’re looking for a fun, easy, sexy and quirky read then you most definitely have to add this book to your TBR list right away - Enjoy! (I read an ARC of this book and promise no Mardi Gras beads were exchanged for my honest review 😉😂).
If you are looking for a romance that has a ton of humor, plenty of heat, quirky characters, and one hell of a good time, then you need to read this book! You should really read all of Kat’s books, but you can start here. Mr. Big Ego is the story of a wealthy playboy named Victor Beaumont and an event planner named Samantha Masson. The location is New Orleans, so you know some crazy stuff is going to go down, like talking birds, crazy limo rides, and secret identities. There is never a dull moment. Victor seems like a serious businessman, but he is really just an overgrown teenager. Some of the stuff he does, my lord, it just makes you shake your head, and laugh your ass off! I feel like he really needs someone stable, like Samantha to keep him wrangled. She didn’t want to like him, but a dork like him is hard for her to resist. They have some hurdles to get over, but they definitely make a great team.
If you are looking for a sweet but hilarious book that pulls on your heart strings, Mr. Big Ego is the book that you need to read right away. Our leading lady has lady balls even if she is a bit hesitant in the romantic department and our leading man has more layers than an onion. Victor Beaumont puts on a mask in an effort to charm the masses, but when things start getting real, will he be able to pull it off?
All in all, Mr. Big Ego was a fun read with a wicked sassy side that had me laughing out loud and then wanting to throttle someone at other times. This was a wonderful book and I give it 4.5 outta 5 stars!
PS: Thank you to Kat Addams and Give Me Books PR for allowing him an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly.
I am torn about this book. There are some parts I enjoyed and others not so much but as this is a new author to me I’m giving this book a 4 star rate. I think the author tried for humour especially within the ranting dialogue but for me, some of it just fell flat. Maybe it’s a generation thing and I just didn’t get all of the humour although, there was some funny moments. The story centers around Samantha and Victor. Samatha is an event planner who ends up sleeping with her boss Victor. At the time, she didn’t know he was going to be her boss. Their attraction sealed, a relationship is inevitable. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from HiddenGems
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well. I'm not going to go into detail, no spoilers just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You'll thank me later!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Mr. Big Ego by Kat Addams is book Three in the Dirty South Series. This is the story of Victor Beaumont and Samantha Masson. I did think this could be a standalone book if you wish to do so. Samantha had a painful divorce and has since concentrated on her event planning business. Samantha has a event for Victor Beaumont but works with his assistant Sara. Samantha has been picked to do the Beaumont Halloween gala. While there she meets a masked man and of course they have a very hot encounter. Victor turns out to be the masked man..her boss of sorts. Neither can deny their attraction or feelings. I really e0
This is my first book by Kat Addams and I feel like I am late to the party. But this is something I vow to rectify asap. Victor and Samantha are both quirky in their own way, and both had me laughing out loud numerous times. Their relationship starts off with a bang - literally. And from then on they couldn’t keep their hands to themselves or stay away from each other. Add in a character named Sara, who I absolutely loathed but she did add to the story, I was enthralled by this book from start to finish. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book via Hidden Gems.
Perfection....this is what Victor Beaumont expects for all his events. As his event planner, Samantha never fails. Will she also succeed as his lover? Perfection is hard to come by when masks are worn and someone on the outside looking in is determined to ruin everything. This is the first book I have read by this author but I will be looking for others.
*I received a copy of this book via Hidden Gems which I am voluntarily reviewing*
