CJ is a skateboarder who would rather spend his days boarding or customizing his deck and can't seem to hold onto a job now that he's officially "grown up" and graduated from high school. He lives with his lover, Richard, who wears a suit and tie to the office every day. Together they make an unlikely pair.

This story is a snapshot look at their relationship, how they come

Mixed feelings about this story, in one hand I'm thinking...
Why a man would like to have a relationship with a unemployed 19 year old skater? who also looks a lot younger than his age and the only thing he does well is skating, he gets up late, he doesn't even help to keep the house clean while his lover work long hours.
In the other hand, CJ loves Richard and can't live without him and Richard loves him back, for how long? who knows

I really enjoyed J.M. Snyder's Skaterboy. Even though it's short, we get a really good glimpse into the life of two very different men... but their love for each other is what keeps them together.
Excellent and quite sweet.

It's one of my least favorite from J.M. Snyder. I dunno, I feel like this is only a snippet, a day in life, but only about C.J. rather than the relationship with Richard. I was left guessing on what this story is all about and in the end, left feeling flat.

This is my book so I'm not going to write a review.

Loved the tone and the pacing - just a nice gentle story about love. Only drawback is that I really wanted more.
