Im filthy, Cooper murmured in protest. I realized that the first week I met you, Park said

Reading this book felt like coming home, I had really missed Cooper, Park and Boogie. I am fixed for now, I just have to wait until 2021 to read the next one.

GAAAAAAHHH!!!!!

Book 4 in the series and not disappointed. Charlie stayed true to the characters, I fell in love with Cooper and Parker in book 1 and in book 4 I am still head over heels. It is usually rare for books in

For a series that I started off so-so on it sure has turned around. Now it's Sophie's Choice difficult to say whether this one or Thrown to the Wolves is my favorite. Luckily I don't have to choose!

Charlie Adhara has built these characters from the ground up, made them not just multi-dimensional but shown their growth as characters, specifically Cooper. He and Park make each other a better version of themselves which is something that appeals to me as a romance reader.

While they have

Oh this lovely lovely book. What more can I add?

The story picks up where we left off in the last installment. However, this time Cooper and Park are playing house and are in fact looking for a place to live.

But as they're cosplaying husband and husband, they receive a call asking them to go to an estate not too far from where they were real estate window shopping. Due to Park's history as the Shepherd, which he is desperate to atone for, Park and Cooper are roped into going undercover to a

5 Stars!

I had hoped for more books so I was pleasantly surprised to find this 4th installment to the Big Bad Wolf series. I had no idea! So I may have did that embarrassing squeal and clap thing one does when they find something like this that excites them. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book and start it. I love being in Cooper's head and getting to see more and more of his walls fall down for his Mate/Partner Oliver. This book did not disappoint one bit. I loved every second of it.

Absolutely wonderful series!! I enjoyed reading each book and I even fell deeply in love with Cooper.

Definitely gonna keep my eye out for more ;)

Ho-ho-how great was this! For reference, I started and finished this on Christmas Eve, so. That's why this opening line is funny to me right now.. knowing this won't go live until March.

But back on track!

I am new to this series, having binged the first three back in the summer, but seeing this installment up for request was exciting because a) I wasn't sure we'd get more and b) the third book was my favourite of the series so I had hoped that momentum, and track record, would continue on the up

I know I havent given any volume of this series all the stars, but damn if you arent going to have to pry the Cooper and Park stories out of my cold dead hands. My life won't allow me to write a real review of this one right now, so I'll just say a few things:

Hands-down the best mystery so far in the series
These two are still ALL THE HOT
Adhara is doing a fabulous job making their past-the-HEA interesting and still in character
Her writing is getting better and better; she's become an absolute

Just as wonderful as the rest of the series. When it comes to Cooper and Park's relationship, I think this book might be my favourite. I re-read, or rather listened to, all the previous books before reading this one and I love how with each book we get to know them better. I loved watching them grow both as characters and as a couple.

I think the setting for this one was perfect as it gave them the opportunity to learn more about themselves, be more open and talk about their feelings.

One of the things that I keep loving about this series is its different take on the shifter genre. It was a little frustrating in the first books because of the lack of actual shifting and most of what usually comes in shifter stories, but its also refreshing and more nuanced, especially the more the series progresses.
As a result, the dynamic between Cooper and Oliver doesnt follow the usual human-wolf pattern and the worldbuilding keeps me on my toes, I never know what to expect next, but Im

I don't know how Adhara makes each successive book in this series better than last, but she does. This is book four in the Big Bad Wolf series which should be read in order. *This review may contain spoilers for the previous books.*

I was immediately drawn in to the story. There are so many reasons Cooper and Park don't work as a couple yet their attraction and attachment is undeniable. Watching them attack each hurdle in their relationship is fascinating. They are so clumsily cute in

If not for a heads-up from a reading buddy, I wouldn't have read Charlie Adhara's Big Bad Wolf series. It just wasn't on my radar. And what a mistake that would have been as it's quickly become one of my favorites. Wolf In Sheep's Clothing is the fourth book of this fantastic series . . . a unique and intriguing blend of paranormal, male/male romance, and mystery suspense. I love that the author devotes special attention to each element - mixing the ingredients to produce the perfect cocktail ...more

After the rant I had with Thrown to the Wolves, I am happy to report that I am satisfied with this latest installment of Charlie Adhara's Big Bad Wolf series. The one thing that irritated the hell out of me in the previous book -- namely, the "failure to communicate" trope between two men -- is nicely addressed here.

Sure, MAYBE, it has something to do with Cooper and Park going undercover in a couple's counseling retreat, where they are bound to get therapy session and talk about feelings 😬.

I've been waiting for this book for months, ever since Charlie Adhara said she had more Coop and Park to come.

As you can tell by my update and my rating, it absolutely did not disappoint.

Her take on shifters is quite different from the typical ones, with a covert approach to their existence that necessitates secrecy and caution.

She uses that element to her advantage in this investigation, which sees our heroes going undercover to a couple's relationship retreat to investigate a missing wolf.

If you are checking out reviews for this series wondering if it is worth investing your time, the answer is an easy YES. Every book has an intriguing mystery, well-written sex *and* action, along with some of the best relationship dynamics ever put to paper.

This fourth installment was no exception. Wolf in Sheeps Clothing was my most anticipated release of the year and it far exceeded my expectations. I adored the first 3 books in this series but I am pretty sure this one is my favourite of the

I think Charlie Adhara has outdone herself with this one.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a 4th book, didn't even realize it was necessary until I was finished.
It's unbelievable how much Cooper has grown. Is this really the same guy who could never talk about anything emotion-related in book 1? Or who hated wolf-shifters?

The exploration of his insecurities, of the questions that niggle him non-stop (like if he ever can be enough for a guy like Oliver) are brilliantly explored and discussed. I

Awww, Coop and Ollie are so great together! It was nice to reunite with them and revel in the narrative voice of Cooper once again, and the ensuing banter. These guys are among my favourite romantic couples, and that I don't say lightly. It was such a pleasure to re-read the three first books in the series before starting this one.

In this book number four I felt the mystery got the main focus, and the romance took a back seat. Perhaps I only felt so because I'm not really a suspense

I've given this an A at AAR.

To say I was excited when I learned that Charlie Adhara was going to be continuing her  Big Bad Wolf  series is something of an understatement.  Ive never really been into books about shifters, but after reading AAR's review of book one, The Wolf at the Door, I decided to try it and was immediately hooked on the adventures of BSI (Bureau of Special Investigations) agent Cooper Dayton and his werewolf work-partner (and later, romantic partner), Oliver Park.  Each book

I was so excited for this, love the characters, dynamic and world; among my favourites. Somehow it's taken me the longest time to read it though. Can't quite decide why that is.

Coops and Park are the same emotionally messy tough guys. Great as a couple, perfect for each other, but useless at communicating. Still love them.

The mystery is a stronger focus in this book than the previous. For me it had the air of Cluedo, and once that thought had struck I'm afraid I couldn't dispel it. At first it

A Joyfully Jay review.

Wolf in Sheeps Clothing is the fourth book in Charlie Adharas wonderful Big Bad Wolf series. The series was originally set to be a trilogy, so I was thrilled to find out that Adhara was releasing more books, as I really love this paranormal romantic suspense. For me, this book brought out a new dimension to Cooper and Parks relationship that I just loved. While it is clear that the men have been committed to one another for a while, here things take on a new

Another great book in this series. I continue to love seeing how much these 2 MCs love each other and compliment each other. Vaguely this story involves Cooper and Oliver being asked to go undercover to investigate a missing wolf. The undercover assignment takes them to a couples counseling retreat and I enjoyed watching that play out. 😀

I seriously need to reread the other books. I was so anxious to start this one I didnt take the time to do that. Knowing what I now know, I want to

Oh yeah, this was awesome. I absolutely adore these guys and would love to see more cute cuddly moments with them, and I don't mean sex. I mean lovey stuff with Park in wolf form. So adorbs!

The story is a mystery for sure. So many players it was hard to keep track of them all. That was frustrating and wish there had been a character chart, lol. But other than that this was superb. When Cooper and Park are sent to a

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 4 in a series. Start with book 1. I just reread the first 3 books back to back and enjoyed them as much as the first time I read them.

This is a satisfying and enjoyable addition to the series. Adharas word building continues as Park and Cooper head to a couples retreat in North Carolina. We learn more about the world of the werewolves as well as witness character and relationship development with the main characters. This book is

I swear to you, I would have said before that it couldn't possibly get better. I am absolutely thrilled that I couldn't have been more wrongwrongWRONG!!

Everything I loved from before is here. Cooper and his hilarous snark, his prickly stay-away personality, his *justified* paranoia and his tendency to look before he leaps. Park and his sweetness, his protectiveness toward and concern for Cooper, his calm assurance and animal edge when he's challenged. Add the pretty damn interesting plot and

Park and Cooper, two of my favorite people. I love them, it's always so much fun reading this series. I love the mystery, I love their love for each other. Everything's just awesome with both of them.

Can't wait for book 5. I want to see what comes up about Cooper's AQ as well.

This book came out the best possible time, when I was sick in bed. It provided me to ultimate comfort and warmth! I love this couple and their developments as individuals and a couple. I am sooo happy that there will be a next book!

Charlie Adhara has always loved a good story and, on occasion, a bad one. After getting her degree in neuroscience, Charlie decided shed much rather study the heart. She now writes contemporary, mystery, paranormal, queer romance. Or some assortment of that. Whatever the genre, her stories feature imperfect people stumbling around, tripping over trouble and falling in love.
Charlie has done a fair
