This is one of those books that I will read over and over again. Earl of Scarborough: The Honorable Rogues by Collette Cameron is book 21 in the Wicked Earls' Club series. This story was so well written as the hero has special needs and Collette did an amazing job writing this book to be witty without being offensive. You fall in love with the characters and this is truly an original. Though in a series this regency story can be read as a standalone. This story has a mugging, a heroine, ...more

Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough, is at the Wicked Earls Club pondering his dilemma, his mother wants him to host a Christmastide House Party and he finds the idea completely appalling. Ansley suffers from OCD and the thought of strangers in his home violating his rigid schedule is beyond upsetting, especially since his housekeeper wants to retire. As he is leaving he accepts an invitation to join a few of the men on a trip to Tattersall’s – because besides a housekeeper, he needs a ...more

Enjoyable and sweet read , one to really get the romantic blood flowing.

He’s a Earl with a Few C.O.D habits and a rigorous routine he can’t break, she’s an out of work American who run to his aid when he’s attacked .

The two feel the attraction from the start , but when she starts to work as his new housekeeper, sparks fly .

Pretty romance that gives plenty of oohs and ahh’s . A short read and nice to relax with.

I received an Arc copy of this book and chose to post this review

Oh my, Author Collette Cameron had me laughing so much while reading, The Earl of Scarborough. This book will have you in tears from laughing at the antics of the Ansley and Willow. I haven't enjoyed reading a book such as this in a long time. By the time you get near the end, you realize what a true fairytale romance this was. I'm only sad the book had to end.

The Earl of Scarborough is book 21 in The Wicked Earl’s Club series. This is Cameron’s second contribution to the group (her first being The Earl of Wainthorp) and she does a marvelous job. In fact, this is Cameron at her best. I adored this story and felt especially drawn to the hero - the Earl of Scarborough, Ansley Twistleton. I think I’m in love. He reminds me of that lovable detective Monk with all his eccentricities. Cameron takes a flawed and at times vulnerable character and handles him ...more

Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough is as fixed and rigid as the schedules and routines he religiously adheres to. But he's also of an age where he must consider marriage and loathes the idea of participating in society to do so as he's too socially awkward to ever feel comfortable there.

Willow Harwood, finding herself well-educated but alone in the world, is in desperate need of a governess position so she can save enough to return to her native America. But a chance acquaintance with a

Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough is NOT spontaneous. He adheres to rigid habits and schedules – no variations – no surprises. Variations cause him to be anxious and set his nerves on edge. Then, he is attacked one evening as he’s walking away from the Wicked Earl’s Club. Two men bent on taking his purse and him determined they won’t – and then – out of nowhere comes an avenging angel – with an umbrella.

A different take on the couple from different worlds. I enjoyed this book. The characters are interesting individually. The development of their relationship is accidental and quite amusing in places.

He's a little bit OCD, sticks to a strict regimen, sarcastic, socially awkward, introverted, enigmatic, has a pet rock of sorts, has a nervous tic, and...I love him. He's Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough. In addition to that, he's as handsome as all get out, tall, strong (yes, he works out) and smart. He's easily agitated and gets stressed out when his routine is disrupted no matter what the reason.

Willow Harlow is an American who has lived in England for the past eight years. She's in

What an fantastic book! It was full of humor that kept me smiling most of the way through it & the characters were all so engaging that you couldn't wait to turn to the next page.

Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough is the "shining star" of this story with his very strictly organized schedule, he is socially inept & so sarcastic that he even questions his own sanity. He keeps a rock in his pocket to rub if he becomes agitated & he has a nervous tic but he was Greek God handsome

Ansley Cecil Huxley Twistleton, Earl of Scarborough, is a man with certain... peculiarities, and impulsive decisions are not one of them. Willow Harwood is a commoner and a half-American whom the Earl hires as his housekeeper - impulsively. What has possessed him? Ansley and Willow’s sweet story details his transformation. A Christmas tale to fall in love with!

Another very entertaining story by Ms Cameron. Ansley has "peculiarities", that make it difficult for him to fit into society easily. Willow is struggling to find a job as a governess. I loved the circumstances of their first meeting, that allowed them to see their true selves right away - his wit, confidence and honour, her strength, courage and kindness. Highly recommend.

Earl of Scarborough: The Honorable Rogues is part of the Wicked Earls' Christmas series by Collette Cameron. It can easily be read as a standalone story so don't worry if you haven't read any of the other books.

This isn't the first Collette Cameron book I have read and it certainly won't be the last. What I love about her story writing is that no matter the length of the book, in this case, a novella, the story is full, and the characters well thought out with decent histories.

In this book, we

You can’t go wrong with an of Ms Camerons books. They are filled with humor and romance. You just have to love the way she uses language such as silly names and funny and unusual words to describe the different characters actions and behaviours. They constantly keep you smiling. This story was no different. The characters were well written with the usual sensitivity, humor and great character. I enjoyed the story being the different story line to the usual Ton stories. I received an ARC of this book from the author Collette Cameron. I feel so fortunate to have had the luck to read this beautiful love story. Ansley, the Earl with a few peculiarities, and Willow, the half American, half English young lady who wishes to be a governess were destined to have an attraction for each other from the start. There were obstacles in their way such as their social standing in society, but Ms. Cameron gave a twist in this story where she had a hero with slightly quirky ...more

A bright, effervescent, spinsterish American miss wanting to earn enough funds so she can return to America after her English grandfather dies. Enjoyed reading an ARC of this story about two people that don’t quite fit in society, but find they fit well together. Ansley Twistleton, the Earl of Scarborough, likes his life very well-ordered & predictable. Willow Harwood is anything but predictable. She’s half-English, half-American, & wholly determined to find a teaching position in London. Following her beloved grandfather’s death, Willow’s left her home in Cambridgeshire to seek employment.
