This book was such an exciting, suspenseful, intriguing, engaging, and entertaining mystery read that took off right from page one and kept me on my toes the entire way through!!

I really enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down!!

Although, early in the year, this book has easily become a favorite and I know will be one of the top books I will have read and reviewed this year!!!

I really enjoyed the main characters, Lt. Eve “Evie,” Sharpe, her partner Walt, Clark, Kiki, and of course Eve

This mystery-thriller by Holly LeRoy is not short on surprises, as well as having more than its fair share of suspense and tension!

In You Kill Me, my first foray into the depths of Holly Leroy’s explosive writing, the author uses an effective style of storytelling to unveil the narrative. Told mostly from Lt. Eve Sharpe’s viewpoint and with whirlwind speed, anecdotes about the leading characters are revealed.

The narrative delves into the psyche of Eve, who the reader learns, is edgy and tough

I must say, Holly LeRoy did not disappoint with this book!! From page 1, I was hooked!! Holly LeRoy wrote a suspenseful, intriguing book with surprises at every turn. For me, I never knew what was going to happen in the story or to Eve next! This book really kept me guessing! This book was full of excitement and suspense which kept me on my toes throughout the pages. While Eve is a fictional character, the way Holly LeRoy wrote about her really made me feel for her and with every blow that she ...more

Sometimes things happen and there is no question in your mind you are doing the right thing. Then people can be so against you that you begin to question yourself. Such is the dilemma of Eve Sharpe.
I enjoyed this book. It is called a mystery/thriller genre. I felt it should almost be categorized as crime fiction because of its descriptive writing of police procedures and investigations. Another reason I liked reading this good cop/bad cop book was that while it does have those moments of making

I read this in 1 sitting. I couldn't put it down. I really liked Lt. Eve Sharfpe. She is a good cop and wants to take down the bad guy. But a shooting gone wrong has put her in a whole lot of trouble and more bad things keep happening that makes her look like a bad cop. The Mayor is out for blood along with her assistant. She is pulled off from working and she does everything she can to clear her name. But it seems like no matter what there is someone out there causing a lot of trouble. I really ...more

Mr. LeRoy is a truly gifted writer. He skillfully weaves the plot and provides the reader with the ability to feel as if they're right there with Lt. Eve Sharfpe.

What really sets this book apart from others is the extensive attention to detail. I've read a lot of books and so few of them get the details of an investigation, crime scene work, emergency response and management of major crimes correct.

Mr. LeRoy's skill, knowledge, and story-weaving is full of talent and dedication.
