I found it too similar to the original, and I liked the original story slightly more. The illustrations didn't make sense here either in that they didn't show the rabbit's gray patches from loss of fur until he saw Flavia again after the fairy changed him, even though it was stated that he developed those long before that.

This is my favorite version of this book!!
