Accidentally hitched to a dream. Now for the catch...

I didn't even say "I do."
One crank call and I'm insta-wife to a tattooed behemoth and mother to his kids.
He's paying my idiot boss a fortune for the perfect lie.
Because trouble found Miller Rush, and he found me.

A rock hard, overprotective rebel with a cause.
Father of the century.
Abs wound tighter than his attitude.
A broodylicious bull stomping around my house, barking orders.
Something's got to give, okay?

But it won't be me.

Is this book part of Accidental series? Or new set of series? I can tell you that the idea/ story/ plot is pretty much the same as Accidental series. In Accidental Rebel, it is less funny and bit more flat. The banter is sweet. Miller is typical brooding hero who has a real hero's heart. Gwen is typical heroine who needs a lot of saving to find her true self.

I always have soft spot for Nicole Snow's books. Her books are hit and miss for me. I enjoy her Accidental series. The sex is hot as usual. I mean its Nicole Snow for God sake. She knows how to steam her romance.

The story has HEA at the end. Overall I do enjoy the book OK. It is a good enough read for the start of 2020.

Nicole Snow is one of those authors that brings it all to the table for me, there is danger, mystery and heat and this is no different I was in from the first chapter and there was no way that I could not read this in one sitting. I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC copy of this book.

Gwen is going through her life the best way that she knows how and trying to do it on her terms. Working or Manny Stokes as a para legal and general dogsbody she suddenly finds herself in the middle of a drama and agreeing to look after two adorable twins Lauren and Shane and be a safe haven for their single father Miller, but does Gwen understand what she is agreeing to and how will she cope with the danger and drama she has just invited in to her life?

Miller Rush single father to two children after the death of his fiancé they have been the main focus of his life and when his job suddenly endangers the lives of all he holds dear he knows he has to get himself out of town and find a way to keep his children safe from the threat that they all face, what he wasn’t counting on was Gwen the woman who ends up offering him a safe place for him and his children and maybe even a second chance at love. But when danger finds them will he be able to save everything he loves or will he lose it all?

There really is everything that you could want, sizzling attraction with the main characters, the twins have such a great presence in the book you cannot help but love them, a meddling mother and exciting danger. Highly recommended read and an easy 5* read.

Gwen is not pleased with her boss Manny Stokes, he is one of the most inept bosses she has met and certainly doesn't pay her enough for all the work she does. When a persistent phone rings, Gwen relents and answers it finding an irritated man announcing he is on his way and asking if she is the one. Gwen having now idea what that means says yes. Next thing she knows she is acting as Miller Rush's wife and entangled in a plan to get them safely to Scotland. However, a busybody mother has other plans and inserts herself in the cat and mouse game. Feelings get involved and Gwen isn't sure if she will be able to survive a man like Miller, he has the ability to break her heart if he doesn't feel the same, but does he?

Pure fun. I thought this was terrific from the beginning to the end. I liked all the characters and was thoroughly entertained throughout the story. Had a lot of humorous elements, an alpha male and a bit of intrigue. Great story

This was a great book. I loved the story. What started out as a fake marriage turned into something so much more. Miller was on the run because he stumbled upon some things that were just not right. He asked for some help and Gwen was thrust into his life. He was only supposed to stay for a short time but that changed when his demons that he was running from found him. This story had it all – romance, drama, and heat. Boy did it have heat and did I mention that he was a single dad, swoon. I can’t wait to read more of her work. Ms. Snow had done it again.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Blue-Eyed Maverick...

Like all of Nicole Snow's stories, the best love stories are worth going against all odds to get there. Miller Rush had two priorities in his life, his 2 children and keeping them secure and safe. He found himself in the position of being a single dad and a protector. Being a dad was challenging enough but he found himself in a situation where he had to uproot his children and make an escape from the bad people that were now after him. He discovered horrific secrets where he works and was now in danger of paying for the consequences of his knowledge. Doing the right thing comes with endangerment to himself and his family. He needs a plan and quick, as his choices are limited.

Gwen works for a law office. Not her first option but it pays the bills. Her real career dreams are put on hold indefinitely. Miller and Gwen cross unlikely paths on what can only be described as one crazy chain of events. Gwen finds herself between a rock and a hard place to help this gruff sexy and gravelly man and it goes downhill from there.

All emotions of fear, sadness, joy, love and trust tie everything together beautifully in this story that leads to an ending that does not disappoint.

Far fetched

I have read quite a few of Nicole Snows books and sadly they seem to get more ridiculous! This one with the lead female being constantly describe as being scared of everything, scared of the dark, scared of her own shadow suddenly becomes a kick boxing ninja defending two kids she barely knows! The male lead is unrealistic as is the entire plot and as for the author mother who intervenes with private eyes and experts in every espionage field know to man in order to assist a total random stranger it's crazy - even the sex scenes aren't worthy and it takes until the last few chapters to get it on then that's all she seems to write about just to fill up the book. I was bored and I am actually surprised I bothered to get to the end! Sorry but this is really a load of rubbish!

As always, Nicole Snow never fails to disappoint with her books! I loved Gwen and Miller's story from the start. Their story was intense, fast, steamy and hot in true Nicole style.

Miller, a single dad of 2, is on the run after finding his employer doing illegal things. Gwen, unknowing the trouble that follows, agrees to let him and his children stay with her. Together, they struggle against attraction while trying to survive. Their chemistry and attraction is undeniable which makes their story even better.

Not all hero’s wear capes. Miller is a modern day knight in shining armor that will totally make you fall in love. A single dad, who loves his children more than anything and willing to sacrifice it all to keep them safe. This romantic suspense will keep you captivated.

Running for their lives and protecting his children was his only priority. She was just hired to help him hide out until he can flee the country.

Gwen thought all she was doing was giving them a safe place to stay for a few days. She had no idea she was supposed to be someone’s fake wife/mom and see them off to a whole new life.

Miller was just trying to right a wrong. However, doing the right thing has put his family at risk. He’s just a dad raising his son and daughter. However, once he uncovers the secrets that the company he works for is hiding, he’s forced to act.

Now his family is on the run and Gwen is there to lend a hand. She’s sweet, kind and can’t help but adore his children. Miller just wants to keep everyone safe.

This was a wonderful story of finding love when you least expect it. The suspense will keep you on your toes. The characters each had their own story to tell and the kids were the absolute best. Another great story by this author.

When I read a Nicole Snow book, I know I’m in for a treat, and this one did not fail. While Miller and Gwen are the main characters, mother May, the kids Shane and Lauren help make it more emotional. Miller is on the lam to save his family, fate and a greedy half wit lawyer will bring Gwen into his life. They have an uphill battle on their hands but will prevail and fall in love along the way. Sweet HEA.

Even if you haven't read anything by Nicole Snow this would be the perfect one to start with. A man running for the safety of his children, a woman who comes into her own when she becomes the center point, a cast of characters you can't help but love, and more action and passion than you could ask for. I blew off my entire day just to read this exciting, spellbinding journey of Miller, Gwen, Shane, and Lauen!

Nicole Snow gets better and better with her books. The keep you on your toes suspense to the chemistry between Miller and Gwen was enough to make a person scream. The way these people conquered their fears was nothing short of a miracle and the love for each other. I'm talking no strings attached, unconditional love. It was beautiful.

Bello, bello!

Consigliato.

''I found you in the darkness, this beacon of light I never knew I needed.''

Sweet, captivating and a little bit thrilling story about finding love when and where you the least expect it. Told in 1st pers. - alternating POV. This book has it all, sexy as sin single dad, strong and interesting heroine, fake marriage and bombs... Yes! There's explosions in this romance. It's not all about shooting and bad guys, the fake marriage part isn't really that heavily played, so its a really good balance of being full of everything, but not being too much. There are quite steamy sex scenes and they have great chemistry. It is insta-lust, but they fight their lust and attraction, so they don't get to it in like first ten pages, but at the same time I wouldn't call it angsty! So this is well balanced, well paced and really enjoyable book with HAE.

Gwen

Gwendolyn Courtney: Paralegal / associate at Stork, Storkley, and Associates, writer. Gwen is sweet, smart, nurturing, self-conscious, compassionate and a little bit paranoid.

Miller

Miller Rush: Single dad, after Army worked in security, on the run. Miller is strong, dominant, loving, proud, private, intense and a really good cook.

Blurb: Miller is on the run with his kids and needs a fake wife. Gwen has a slimy boss. One thing lead to another and Gwen finds herself sharing her house with sexy as sin, brooding dad, who will do anything to protect the ones he love. Add to the mix Gwen's rich and nosy mother, two adorable and smart kids and you have a family worth fighting for before you know it. Can they make it safe to the other side of this mess?

''Somehow, someway, I’ll save them. I’ll be the father, the man, the hero they deserve.''

I really liked that Nicole Snow made believable kids. Most of the time in romance books, kid characters are made too smart for their age or too childish. This is not the case. I really liked reading about Shane and Lauren.
I didn't like authors usage of O. And I'm talking about orgasm. If it would have been only from Gwen POV it would have been ok, because we women do sometimes refer to orgasms as O. But coming from Millers POV - I didn't like it. But have to say it was the only thing I can complain about.

I really enjoyed this book. It was fast, sweet and entertaining read. I will definitely read more of this author.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Nicole Snow, can we do a Weird Science kind of thing where you design my perfect man and he pops out of a computer, because I swear you know EXACTLY what kind of alpha man I find SUPER attractive! Miller Rush is by far one of my favorites of your main men, and that is saying something because all of them are in the 'yes, please' category!

This book is full of suspense. Miller is on the run and he needs help, Gwen gets caught up in this as well, but finds she has a lot more backbone than even she knew. Throw in two amazing twin kids, a meddling mother that is way too smart for her own good, and an evil company--- just yes!!!

Great book if you enjoy your men on the alpha side but with a heart of gold and your leading ladies loyal and loving but not pushovers. Also if you like a pretty darn cool story and how it plays out. All in all, read this book ASAP!! <3

I received an advanced copy of this book to read and review honestly!

Absolutely Fantastic and so Hot 🔥❤️

Nicole Snow blew me away once again!! I absolutely loved this story . Miller is complete alpha hero and Gwen is awesome and has a fire in her that just needs to come out.. Shane and Lauren were such precious parts of this book. And I can’t say enough about May , she’s unbelievable.
I know I say this a lot with NS books , but I could not stop reading it, what a crazy ride. Also, the chemistry and heat this couple has is completely off the charts. I was even blushing at times . I really loved every part and the ending was of course perfect . This is a 💯% must read !!!

Gwen offered her help but didn’t realize what it would entail. Miller just wants to keep is kids safe and needs a place to lay low. What will happen when sparks fly between Gwen and Miller? Can he keep them all safe? Fast-paced read with great chemistry and plenty of drama. The story holds your interest throughout. I liked it.

Ti fa sorridere senza motivo. Ti rende grato. Ti completa».

The beginning of this book was so familiar I kept double checking if I'd actually read it before. I had not. But man, so familiar.

Anyway, this is fairly representative of what you typically get from this author, older alpha male hero (single dad), younger wishy-washy heroine (to be fair, this one was less wishy-washy than typical), a couple of cute moppets, one-dimensional scooby doo type villians, and a laundry list of cross references to her other books.

The good - the heroine was 6 feet tall and not skinny. Makes a real nice change. The scenes where she describes her attempts at writing a novel were poignant and rang true (perhaps lifted from the author's own life). The kids, while ridiculously well behaved, spoke in mostly age appropriate ways and contributed to the story. The heroine bonding with them felt more realistic than the romance.

The bad - holy misogyny batman. There's alpha, and then there is pounding the chest caveman grossness. This hero fell on the gross side of the line. Some of the things he thought and said, blech. The resolution of the suspense aspect of the story happened off page and felt seriously flat because of that. The villians, good gravy, pizza boxes have more depth.

So, I read it. And I'll forget that I read it by tomorrow.

I thought the moments of humor was nice, and I liked the premise and the kids. It just seemed like our heroine and hero behaved out of character for the sake of the plot.

I’m going to say it did take me awhile to finish this story. It seems to cover a lot of things going on at once and maybe it’s just my brain having a hard time with it. Not the first time to be honest. It’s like romantic single dad thriller maybe but it was good. You can’t help but fall in love with Miller and his awesome kiddos. You find yourself cheering for him and his family and Gwen. You even find a soft spot for her meddling bestselling author mother May.

Miller Rush has been to war but that was a walk in the park compared to what he seen in the shipping building of his former workplace. Him and his best friend Keith uncover some incriminating evidence and set out to expose the creeps who are responsible. Sadly, that doesn’t go as plan and they must pull set off plan B and run. Miller scoops up his kids and hires a lawyer to set him up with a fake wife and the whole shebang. It’s here he finds himself in the home of Gwendolyn Courtney. A tall unassuming red head who has no real idea what she’s getting into. Miller starts to wonder if Gwen is the perfect person for this ruse. Gwen didn’t really understand what she agreed to and how deep it would take her down. She just wanted to prove to her boss that she is a good worker and deserves a better chance. Besides being a paralegal, she is also an inspiring author much like her mother. She opens her home and eventually her heart to Miller and his kids. It’s during the journey of keeping them safe and trying to make Shane and Lauren's life normal that she learns about the mess Miller is involved in. She wants to run in fear because let’s face is Gwen is scared of a lot of things yet when the kid’s lives are on the line she steps up and gives them a mother like they’ve never known.

So hear me out the only real issue I had was at one point they are running for their lives and wanting to keep kids safe but they are banging like bunnies while the kids are like 20 steps away playing board games. Like anyone could have came in that cabin! I guess you have to stress release somehow. It’s a good story all in all. When Miller reveals what’s in the box I cringed! That was a good little part.

I love the kiddos and how well they adapted. Lauren is wise for her young age and her twin Shane is all boy with a heart of gold. I think May had good intentions by being so meddling. Gwen, she didn’t give herself enough credit, but she kicked butt when she needed too. She’s a good nurturer. I think this book would be perfect for anyone who loves mystery and romance and some sexy times filled with some cute kiddos.
