I absolutely loved this collection of four royalty themed novellas! It was fun to get a peek into the lives of four different royals, see what they were struggling with, and watch them find their happily-ever-afters, all in a beautiful Christmas setting.

If you are a fan of movies that feature a royal romance theme, or perhaps enjoyed The Royal Wedding Series by Rachel Hauck, then Royally Yours will most likely be a collection that leaves you with a happy sigh at the end of each story

Imagine a town perfectly suited for royal and celebrity visitors. Free of paparazzi or journalists, the Christmas-crazy town of Tinsel, Vermont, has made a name for itself as a restful getaway for public figures. The citizens care about each other and about making their visitors welcome, no matter how recognizable their names or faces.

This novella collection features four royalty-inspired Christmas stories. A king, a prince, and two princesses experience true holiday cheer while visi

This review is for Melissa Tagg’s story, One Royal Christmas. I will add my review for each story as I read them. I was never a huge fan of novellas. I always felt like the story was too rushed and I always wanted more! But then, I read a Melissa Tagg novella - Three Little Words- and it changed my thoughts completely! Certain authors can make a novella just as satisfying as a full length story, and Melissa is one of those authors.

I really enjoyed the first meeting between Jonah and

'God had called him to do a hard thing. Now, Jonah simply prayed God would help him carry it out.'

I am a royalty fan. Have been for many decades. So this book on my radar excited me. And the authors have done a wonderful job.

The tiny town of Tinsel, Vermont, does Christmas up on a grand scale. They also have a media ban, so celebrities can come there to vacation and not be followed around by reporters. They are safe in Tinsel. In this charming quartet of novellas, royal p

Such a delightful contemporary Christmas novella collection! The four stories take place in Tinsel, Vermont, a Christmas-y vacation safe haven free of paparazzi for the famous and the ordinary. And the stories have royalty visiting the small fairytale-like town to escape life’s pressures. The collection, from beginning to end, will bring a smile to your face; what’s there not to love about this enchanting storybook setting and couples falling in love in a magical wonderland, written by some of m ...more

A great royalty meets small-town romance

My rating is 4.5 stars

Four great authors have combined their talents to create a wonderful, quirky, small town where Christmas wishes come true! Tinsel, Vermont is a haven for those seeking to avoid the media – as it is against the law for paparazzi to invade the privacy of this burg.

I enjoyed the continuity of the portrayal of the town and could even picture the gazebo off the town square. Candy Cane Lane, with the inte

I adore novella collections at this time of year. In the midst of the busyness, it is nice to escape into a sweet story that can be finished in one or two sittings.

Royally Yours did not disappoint. Think Christmas movie with a subtle faith thread! I found each story to be delightful. The premise of a town where royalty or other well-known public figures can escape the paparazzi is fascinating. I have always been drawn to fairy-tales and stories of royalty. Each novella provided a story full of

This is the sweetest collection of Christmas novellas. Set in an adorable town(that I wish was real!) with a fun quirk-no media allowed so celebrities and royalty can have a vacation spot free from media/paparazzi was such a cute premise. ALL of these stories would make great Hallmark Christmas movies. My personal favorite of the collection was Melissa's. I loved that the town's library was a major part of the story and all the bookish elements Melissa added. That was so fun and charmed my love ...more

All of these stories take place in Tinsel, Vermont, a town that serves as a hideaway for many a famous person, as the paparazzi isn't allowed within city limits. (Side note: I would love to know more about Mayor Hayden's backstory!)

You know how the Hallmark Channel is starting to do anthology movies (like the Christmas in Evergreen films)? These stories would be perfect for something like that! Each story is sweet and romantic, and, while each author has her own style, the stories feel like the

Such a delightful collection of short Christmas stories, all set in a town called Tinsel in Vermont. The kind of dreamy winter wonderland town you can easily imagine, where the people love the festivities and go all out to celebrate the season. This town is unique in which they have created a safe haven for the rich and famous, and so we have the perfect location for 4 vacationing royals, to escape from the public eye and the weight of responsibilities.

In One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg we meet Rowan and Jonah. Both are dealing with expectations versus hopes and dreams. It was a pleasure to get to know them in Tinsel and watch them find themselves. A romance that was truly romantic. I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant introduces us to Eleanor and Miles/Liam. Both of them are running away from their real identities for different reasons. They connect even though he is less than h

I enjoy novella collections for many reasons, mainly because I feel like I've read four books when in truth I've only read one. 😉😉😉

This collection is so fun and I am in love with the town of Tinsel, Vermont! It seems like the perfect place to live. Paparazzi is not allowed so it's a perfect place for celebrities, royalty, and those just wanting to get away from it all to visit. It's the perfect town at Christmas time with it's decorations fit for a Queen.

This is such an absolutely fabulous and utterly charming Christmas novella collection, I wish I could give it more than five stars! In addition to being written by some of my favorite authors Royally Yours combines three of my favorite things, royalty, Christmas, and my home state of Vermont in one delightfully gift wrapped and tinsel adorned package! Escape to Tinsel!

Sweet, sweet Christmas collection! I loved these Royal stories! I could easily see each one as a movie. The characters have more depth than any Hallmark movie.
I loved how the people that came to Tinsel found more than just an escape from the media. They find strength, confidence, and love. ❤

Charmingly captivating! That’s what comes to mind after reading Melissa Tagg’s novella, One Royal Christmas, in the Royally Yours collection. I think we can crown Melissa as the queen of Christmas novellas (Seriously! Check out the Enchanted Christmas Collection). This story captured my heart and transported me to a fabulous small-town setting all while introducing new characters into my heart. After I finished reading this novella, I sighed the happiest of sighs.

I rarely give a five star rating to a collection of stories, mainly because I'm usually not a fan of every story in the collection. But I delightfully read my way through all four magical stories and my only complaint is this...

I want to live in Tinsel, Vermont!

This is a collection I know I'll be revisiting every time the holidays come around.

Royally Yours has four fine novellas that surround royalty in a quaint little town called Tinsel located in Vermont.  Part of its uniqueness is its mayor who had been a famous star in his past had been harassed by paparazzi and he has laws that do not allow the media groups inside the city limits.  So the stars, celebrities,  politicians and royalties feel safe and protected to enjoy their lives without being photographed or followed.

One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg – Melissa Tagg has perfected the art of writing a book that can include the perfect blend of romance, charm, and character development—all within a short novella! This is a review for Melissa Tagg's story in the collection, One Royal Christmas:
The town of Tinsel, Vermont, a picturesque town that is almost always in the Christmas spirit, was delightfully charming without feeling cliche. The quirky townspeople, and the media ban making it the perfect place for these royals to hang out, made me wishing I could visit.

Sweet Novellas to Get You in the Christmas Spirit

If you eagerly await Hallmark Christmas movie season, you will love these four sweet Christmas novellas, each with a royal theme and set in Tinsel, which is basically a Christmas-themed version of Stars Hollow. Enjoyable read

This was overall enjoyable. I have read far more believable royalty stories, but these were fun. I was a bit disappointed but only because I spent more than typical on this book. It was still full of good writing and light hearted romance. I just have read better, hence the 4 stars.
