I have learned that Jefferson was only fourteen years old when his dad died. I learned more as I went along and keept reading this book. I knew that he was the author of the Declaration of Independence. I learned that he lost against John Adams the first time he ran for president. I think it was amazing because I learned more about Jefferson. I loved this book, and I hope to read another biography about a president.
