An overview of everyday life in the busy port city of Boston between 1760 and 1773, including the changes that came as colonists began to resent the trade restrictions and taxes imposed upon them by England.
This is a great trade book when teaching a unit on the Revolutionary War. It really helped me to see things in my mind. Since I am from the west coast, it helps me to understand the lay of the land. Great pictures and thanks for the map and time line. The photographs and illustrations were great! After reading Chains, Forge and Emma's Journal it helped to cement what was happening in Boston at the time.
