Return to Red River--a beautiful mountain town in the southern Rockies, where the nights are cool and the romance is hot--one last time in this wonderful holiday romance that has as much heart as it does heat.

Maybe some wishes aren’t meant to come true.

Christmas is a hot button for Kimberly Perez, and not in a good way. Having grown up in the foster system, she's as frugal

4 - Always celebrate Christmas to the fullest… Stars!

The seventh and final book in Shelly Alexander’s Red River Valley series gives us Ross Armstrong and Kimberley Perez’s story. Christmas lover versus Christmas loather if you will.

"Sometimes being a Grinch comes in handy…"

Although I would add that Kimberley doesn’t really hate it, she just see’s past the commercialism of it due to her upbringing, and would rather put the money all the frivolities cost to better use. Ross is the opposite, and

I loved this book. It was a great story and it is sad that it is the last book in the Red River Valley Series. This book as well as the others can be read as a standalone. Ross and Kimberly were such a great couple. They were so good together. The chemistry between them was so good. This was just a great ending to just a great series.

A celebration of what was, becomes a jumping off point for what could be. Alexander grabs your heart at the start and refuses to let go. It's in His Christmas Wish, pits a modern day Scrooge against a yummy adversary. Kimberly and Ross hold the fate of their small town in their hands. Can they stop fighting long enough to let the magic of the season heal their broken hearts? Heartache and humor are the backdrop for hope. The perfect goodbye to an unforgettable series. Long live, Red River ...more

Red River Perfectly Imperfect couple!
OMG – I love Red River stories. If you have not read any of the Red River books, you must start with the first one, It’s In His Heart, which is about Ella and Cooper, once you have read this you will want to continue with the others. Although they are standalone books, it brings them all together one way or another in each book. There are some sad portions to each story, but there is plenty of laughter. This story of Ross and Kimberly is no exception.

I loved this book, although it was a bit confusing. I’ve read books by Ms Alexander before and I always loved it, but this time I noticed a reference to a film I didn’t know - How the Grinch stole Christmas. I didn’t get the playful hints about green man, because I haven’t seen the film. Other than that, I thought it was a fantastic book, I love the small town romance, loved the intention of both Kimberly and Ross and I enjoyed to read about their love-story.

This is what the book’s about:

I think I have missed the boat on this one as I have just started this series as well as this author at book seven and the final book. But if the other books in this series ware as great as this one, I may just have to go back to meet some of the other couples of the Red River Valley. A funny and sweet Christmas romance that will heat the pages as you have a front-row seat for the argument of the season when Kimberly and Ross go head to head over the towns Christmas decorations.

A sweet, entertaining Christmas treat

The final book in the It’s in His... series, I’m relatively new to this author, so while I’ve read a couple of the most recent books, I haven’t had a chance to go back and pick up all the earlier stories yet. I didn’t have any problem reading this as a standalone, though I would probably have had more investment in some of the secondary characters with more exposure to the series.

I have to admit, I was more team Kimberly here, though I certainly understood

It's In His Christmas Wish not only wraps the Red River Valley series up with a big read Christmas bow, but also helped this Grinch love me some Christmas magic. It's the story of Kimberly Perez, who moved to the area to unite with her best friend in a law firm. Her childhood wasn't great, and her sole focus is to help other kids who grew up like her and/or worse. She's doesn't hate Christmas per se, just isn't down with all the commercialism, believing that the money which would be spent on ...more

It’s in His Christmas Wish is the seventh and final book in the Red River Valley series. It can be read as standalone as well as the previous books. I started the series with book three. I will get to the first two one day. The synopsis explains it perfectly so I will make this fast.

Kimberly wants to give children their Christmas wishes with the help of the town which would cut the decoration budget. It’s not that Ross doesn’t want children to have a present to unwrap but he wants them to have

When Kimberly Perez and Ross Armstrong have the towns people of Red River fighting among each other during a meeting the council chairperson forces them to work together to meet both of their proposal's. Kimberly's proposal's of a Christmas Wishing Tree that would grant the Christmas wish list of needy children and Ross's proposal of Christmas decorations for the whole town to carry on his sister's wish. Oooh! I love a good Christmas time read and Shelly completely captured my attention with Kimberly and Ross! Kimberly and Ross find the town at odds when they can't agree what should be done in a town meeting. The council pushes them to have to work together. Which should have been fine, except Kimberly has been avoiding Ross. I liked the fact that these two are friends and have found themselves getting friendlier lately. But Kimberly's past reared its ugly head and she put a stop to things. ...more

The Red River Valley series wraps up with a Christmas romance. This one is a friends to lovers romance for Ross and Kimberly. Well, kind of. These two are a bit at odds over how to spend the town's Christmas budget. At the same time, Ross is firmly in the friendzone and really wants to find a way out. Of course, it wouldn't be a small town romance without some meddling townsfolk, and this time, it's the town council. It's in his Christmas Wish encompasses everything the Red River Valley series ...more

It's In His Christmas Wish by Shelly Alexander is book number seven in the Red River Valley series. This is Ross Armstrong andKimberly Perez's story.
This story was so much fun. What a great way to escape from everyday life and get into the holidayspirit. The characters were great! Their interactions and chemistry had me laughing and crying. Kimberly and Ross have experienced hard times in their life and haven't really moved on. Will these two realize what kind of life they can have together? I

This is the last book in the Red River Valley series and it centers around Lawyer Kimberly Perez and Ross Armstrong. Kimberly had a rough childhood and was bounced around the foster care system and now works as a lawyer doing mostly pro bono work for children. When she hears that the town is going to spend money on new Christmas decorations, she asks the town counsel to use the money to buy presents for needy children instead. Ross lost is sister Noelle when she was 12 and he was 16. Her dying ...more

This was a quick read with likable characters. There were a few things that I didn't like which is why I'm giving it 3 stars and not more. There were a few word choices that made me cringe and want to tune out. Romance books are supposed to be cliched but overall this was a bit too much for me. I think if the book was longer it could have been better but I'm not sure. Overall a cute holiday read but not one of the first I'd read in this series.

A funny, romantic story of the last of Red River. You don’t need to have read others- this can be stand alone. There is chemistry and intrigue in the beginning before we get to the issue of how to celebrate Christmas. The pair needs to learn to work together as they both have setbacks and preferences for the holiday. There is comedy, heart-string tugging moments, and a few ups and downs which cover all the bases. I think you will fall in love with Ross, Kimberly, Comet and Red River’s match ...more

I really enjoyed this last book in the Red River series. It was sweet, well written, and very steamy in parts. Ms. Clydelle and Ms. Francine are up to their old tricks trying to be matchmakers. After a lot of work planning for upcoming Christmas and organizing gifts for foster children, we do get our HEA.

A wonderful small-town Christmas romance that was witty, charming and sexy The tone was set on page 1 - who knew Christmas decorations could be so funny? Placing two characters dancing around a potential romance on opposite sides of Christmas was a great storyline - each had their own very good reasons for their beliefs and I enjoyed their story as they worked together to make Christmas happen for their small town. I have never read a book about characters with more heart than these two. An ...more

Fitting Conclusion. In this swan song for the Red River Valley series, there are no swans. But there is a little girl named Noelle who has a Christmas wish, and our final couple in town gets thrown together to try to grant it... Along the way, we get the same elements this series has come to be known for - zany antics from old busybodies, solid small town atmosphere, a hot sex scene or two, and solid, heartwarming romance. This *can* be an entry point into the series - if you don't mind minor ...more

I enjoyed reading about two characters who have wildly different views about the same thing come together. It is so timely that in our society today people one consider their own viewpoint. Kimberly may be a lawyer, but she never set out to make tons of money.

Ross the hunky town mechanic also holds a secret in his heart of loss and a Christmas promise.

Loved Ross and Kimberly together. Kimberly has a true armor on and Ross wants to dismantle it; however, not if it costs him his devotion and honor to his late sister. Loved this story.

Ross lost his sister and to honor her Ross carries on her love for all things Christmas, after all her name was NOEL. While Ross is headstrong on his mission to love Christmas, his parents on the other hand turn their back on Christmas as a too painful reminder of their little girl. This strengthens Ross's mission

A female who thinks Christmas is too commercialized having grown up in foster care. A guy who loves his dead sister as he honors her love for Christmas by making a big deal out of it collides.

So they have to work together on a new Christmas project as they try to put aside their differences. Will things work out between them as they find a common ground? Sometimes there is a fine line between love and hate.

It is a charming story for the holiday season.

There is a Grinch in Red River Valley!

Kimberly Perez moved to Red River to team up with her best friend in a law firm. Kimberly, worked mostly Pro Bono and has made it her goal to help others. She had a tough childhood that has left scars, but also; a need to help children and abused women. Kimberly is at the town council meeting hoping to convince the council members that funds would be put to better use rather than on Christmas decor.

Ross Armstrong hears through the grapevine that someone is

This was a great Christmas story. Both Kimberly and Ross want to spread good cheer for the holidays. They each have their reasons for why it is important but the way they go about it has the whole town up in arms. Ross has had feelings for Kimberly for quite awhile but so far hasn't been able to act on it. Kimberly also has eyes on Ross but feels he deserves someone better. Can they bring the town together and themselves in the process? This is a fun and romantic book and I loved how it ended. I ...more
