My ruthless enforcer is broken, dangerous, and determined to claim me…

The first time I meet Stone Ferraro, it’s hate at first sight, and then he kidnaps me. On his mafia boss’s orders, but still...not a great first impression.

The second time I meet him, he calls me a derogatory name, and I knee him in the balls. Not exactly the sweet social worker look I

"... I'll keep fighting for us as long as it takes." - Stone

Theodora Taylor has done it again with "Stone: Her Ruthless Enforcer: 50 Loving States, North Carolina!"

Stone and Naima's story was just as riveting as all of her other engaging books in the 50 Loving States series but the enforcer, Stone Ferraro was a very hard NUT to crack! Well, to be honest and exact, both main characters were .... should I say that both were flawed and broken but their journey together was so worth my

This is my temporary review, I'll come back to write a longer one soon.

When Keane was released I remember saying ...

"Who the heck is Keane"?!

And ... Where is Stone's Story? Finally! Stone (and Naima's Story) has arrived. This book was totally, totally worth the wait. So, so many laugh out loud and heart-warming moments. I love this couple! I especially love straight shooters who get straight to the point. This is Stone!

For now ... I'll just leave you with this truncated,/>"Who

Stone was worth the wait

Stone was a total surprise, I didn’t think I would be able to connect to his character, especially since I was such a Rock fan. The way he unfolded in the book you can’t help but adore him. I loved Naima and so glad she was able to find herself. I loved seeing them both thaw out in order to connect to each other. This book was an absolute must read.

Mixed feelings

I loved Stone who clearly was broken at a young age and was struggling to deal with life without medication. Once again I’m disappointed that authors, although they are touching on difficult topics like child abuse, cannot seem to be able to accept that you can love 2 people, just differently. I don’t understand why, Rock had to be imperfect (breaking up with her) to justify her falling in love with Stone.
I also think and I know my opinion might be controversial, that Naïma is su

Stone and Naima's story is finally here and it was worth the wait. These two are both broken and hurting silently. They are the ones called upon for help. If a murder needs to happen or body needs to disappear, call stone. If someone's in need of help or a shoulder to cry one, call Naima. What happens when it's the helper's are the one's in need of help.
These two are both determined and stubborn but you can't help to get attached to this couple. Naima and Stone are on a journey of finding

3.75ish. I liked it. Stone and Naima were cool. I liked the hodge podge family and Aunt Mari was hilarious. Didn't super wow me, but I liked.

This story is characteristic of the feels and character complexities you've come to expect from Theodora Taylor. Both the hero and heroine had personal issues that when brought together in romance are healed by their love. This storyline introduced Naima, emotionally afraid (and possibly on the sexual spectrum), and Stone, emotional dormant, along with a misfit extended family. The story depicted the growth of their relationship and healing in this extended, sometimes funny family, and friends. ...more

From Ruthless to Romantic

Stone and Naima’s story was just different to all the others in this series. As usual I like when characters from previous books make and appearance.
This book shows how the love between two broken persons blossomed into something very beautiful.
Stone and Naima’s story was highly anticipated and Ms Taylor did not disappoint as usual. Lol not to pop anyone’s bubble but the only issue I had was that I was not able to read Stone’s thoughts but other than that it was a fan

Stone is the story of Stone and Naima. People who are familiar with Taylor's 50 Loving States series have already been introduced to these characters. For anyone new (Amazingly, I missed the books featuring these two characters. Off to Amazon I go!) to the series, Naima is a social worker whose boyfriend not only broke up with her recently but died shortly after. To make matters worse, Naima's recently discovered that she's pregnant by her deceased ex.

Stone is the twin brother of her ex. He's c

I really wanted to hate Stone so badly

Once again Miss Taylor is on point. I love her writing I love her book series I think I have them all but two. You know after reading Luca and Amber story I was really if he Don Stone. I kept wondering how she could turn him into a likeable character but, Lord she did it. Outside of Mason and Alexi, Stone is up there. I think he's like raking two or three I have to think about and reorder my heroes from her books now. But you got to read this book. If yo

I was determined to not like let alone love Stone, I said I don't care what TT does there is no way she is going to make me like that guy and then she goes and creates the most fiercely loyal without guile and open character she has ever done, there are no layers with Sober stone he is just beautiful and the way he loves Naima and their little family I can't love him or this book more.

A thing that surprised me about this story is that Naima is the one who had layers. I never would have thought

Stone & Naima is my favorite!

Omg I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book.

I even put an alarm on so I can get up to start reading this.

Naima and Stone really do belong together.

Stone proves that Naima is more than the nice social worker. And Naima shows that Stone is not who everyone believes.

Reading this book made me very disappointed in Rock. I started to see more that wasn't told in Amber book about it. But now I really think about it, he could've worked through it. But

This is my first Theodora Taylor. It was recommended by an author I read and respect and I’m glad I took a chance. However, if you are someone who needs the backstory to everything or likes the details, it may be a better idea to read Luca and Amber (a duet series) first. The main characters of this book are secondary characters in their story. One that is heavily referenced in Stone. There is a point that even I felt a little out of the loop but I still have zero interest in the other books. Yo ...more

Stone and Naima... what can I say? I'd been waiting for this book for a while and I was not disappointed.

Readers may remember these characters from "Luca" and "Amber" although that wasn't their story as Stone's twin brother Rock was in the picture. Now Rock is out of the picture and Stone shows up under the guise of protecting Naima but his reasons are more complex than simply being concerned for her safety. Naima doesn't know what to make of Stone. She sees him as, well... stone-fac

* This is a stand alone story, though Naima and Stone initially appeared during Amber and Luca's stories.
Naima and Stone's coming together is at times ugly, messy, dangerous, and reticent. Naima is endeavouring to move forward from a failed relationship, a faltering friendship and an unexpected pregnancy. Stone is grieving the loss of his twin, and dealing with how he processes his emotions, or lack thereof.
Naima and Stone dance on a razor's edge of tension, attraction, and volatility. A

Really enjoyed this one! Stone is written so well that I had actually started reading this as a preview on Amazon because I was already starting another book and ended up abandoning the other book because I couldn’t stop this one! I became fully immersed into the storyline of Naima and Stone. I was like 😮 wait a minute! How is this going to ever evolve into a love story!? But this is no traditional love story. Not even by any stretch of the imagination! Wow is all I can say lol I am just totally ...more

I used to love this series and then stopped reading it because I thought the books were too predictable and formulaic. But this one had rave reviews and was on Kindle unlimited so I figured I’d give it a try. I really liked it! Naima was a mixture of practical, loving and hilarious. Initially I didn’t know what to think of Stone. I also hadn’t read Luca so I had no context for getting who he was in the plot initially but the author did a great job filling in just enough info so I could

ARC in exchange for a late but honest review.

I didn't see this story coming.
It took me some days to write my review because I had a lot to reflect on. This book was different. Less drama, more everything.
I didn't see Stone quirky character coming. I didn't see one thing about him coming and I adore his character.
He was a different kind of alpha and the way he took care of Cami and Talia melted my poor heart.
He wished to be normal but he didn't need it. His character was perfect the way he i

Naima doesn't trust Stone, for good reason. He broke into her home and abducted her to use as leverage over Amber for Luca in the previous book. During that book, she started a relationship with Stone's twin brother, Rock. He was the safe, sane brother. At the beginning of this book, Naima is alone and pregnant with Rock's baby. But Rock is dead and she wants nothing to do with him mafia family, especially his scary brother Stone who is an emotionless monster.

Stone in love 😍😍😁

I know of this author and have read alot of her books before, but this is the book that brought me back. I started this one Stone and Naima and then I stopped and went back and read Keane. I love Stone and Naima's story. I like that she is a nurturer and I love their relationship together. I found this book to be humorous and the characters to be real and well-rounded. Stone it's a loving caring man who for some reason blocked out his feelings I guess for the job that he h

5 stars- I LOVED IT!

I had been waiting for Stone’s story and it did not disappoint. I have always been intrigued by Stone but also thought he was a really big jerk who hates our colorful heroine. That is not the case and she is the only one who can make him feel and understand the power of true love. He has all the characteristics and actions of a good man; he just doesn’t see it until she shows him why it matters. I love this book because both characters are flawed and slightly brok

Please read this book!

Theodora can do no wrong!! I loved Naima in previous books and hated Stone. Naima is one of those people who gives everything to the people she loves. Unfortunately that leaves nothing for her. She is trying to change that and the first step she makes for that change is to move from NY to NC. Of course there's twist, she is pregnant with he dead ex-boyfriends baby! Enter Stone the brother of the aforementioned boyfriend. Stone was nothing like what I expected in this bo

OMGOODNESS!! This book was amazingly good. I LOVED Stone. He was so blunt, but so lovable. I have never run across an H like him. I admit to being a little hesitant about reading this book bc I read the excerpt in Keene. I knew Naima had been in a relationship with Stone’s brother, Rock. I just didn’t think I would be into a storyline about her moving on with Stone. But guess what? It worked!! The author worked her magic with this storyline so it didn’t seem weird at all. Naima and Stone’s story was crazy but good. Naima takes off for a fresh start away from the mob after her ex’s/ baby’s father funeral. Stone decided to check on her and discovered she’s pregnant with his brothers baby and she’s his. He pushes his way into her life while taking care of her and it was weird at first with how closed off he was except for asking her if she needed wifeing every night lol. As both of their problems came to light their relationship got better and I liked

Great book. Ms Taylor does not fail to disappoint. Stone wow. Silent but lethal. And when he speaks you best listen.
Naima and Stone have not gotten off to the best of starts-(Read Amber). He has tracked her down to the South as when they last spoke it unsettled him. Naima is carrying his dead brother's child and Stone is going to make the situation right. What a Man! Stepping up for his brother Rock, Stone finds himself in uncharted waters-his feelings- does he even have any? Doubtful! Nai

This book is LIFE!!!😭😭😭😭

Theodora Taylor does not disappoint with this story!!! This is my favorite couple this far. Their story is ssssssooooo heart wrenching! Some very real dilemmas occur and the topic of mental health was eloquently intertwined. I am looking forward to the next installment of this series. As a side note I absolutely the mixture of different types of interracial couples from each book. This author has a talent for taking interracial coupling to the next level by recognizing more

100% love

Stone and Naima finally get their love story! I waited patiently for this book release, and even though I enjoyed the story, I felt it was tame compared to most of TT's other novels.
Spoilers *****

Stone, despite his menacing demeanor, was actually a love-struck teddy bear who was self-medicating to deal with emotional issues. Another departure from this author's usual style, we only got Naima's point of view , which was disappointing. I would have loved reading about St

Lord what a Man

They say Oppesite Attract.

Neima and Stone was total opposite of each other. Her quite and shy, him a Professional Killer.

But put them together and there self made Family and you have a Delightful story.

I was totally suprise by Stone. He came off all hard Nose with no emotion whatsoever.

But after finding out his problem and fixing it, was a Hilarious Moment and a Godsend for Neima.

This was a Beautifully written story and I love

Stone Cold Heart Melted!

Stone and Naima both had serious issues from the past that kept each other at arm's length with fortresses built around their heart. I had a really hard time liking Stone's character in the beginning until he finally faced who he had become over half his life. Naima didn't help because of her past experiences but eventually let Stone inside her heart and their love grew. There was some suspense and drama but the overarching theme was the difficult relationships and how

No they are not normal but who is?

Nice read. I enjoyed Stone and Naima’s story. Tied up some loose ends and made you fall for this crass enforcer. Looking forward to the next book in the series. Oh and yes Mary and Rhage are my favorite couple too!
