I seem to be on a music/ band themed reading spree. The main character Jackie used to be in a rock/goth band Broken Scars. Her drummer Ray died from drugs. She auditions for an all girl band named the Neon Fishnets. She's been in a Twitter feud with their keyboardist Ivy, who coincidentally didn't know about her initial audition. This book deals with drugs/addiction. Ironically the main guitarist of the new band Reyna also has substance abuse issues. (Could have picked another name, not so relat ...more

Love This Fire
A member of Jackie’s band died and they broke up. Now she is auditioning for a place in a new band. The problem is her Twitter feud with the keyboardist, Ivy. Jackie wants to put it in the past but Ivy isn’t so sure of Jackie’s real intentions…. The only thing she is sure of is the heat coming off the two of them. This is one of those go to feel good books. It is a fast read for a full length book and absolutely perfect for a lazy afternoon. I loved all the women in the Neon

Oh-whee (sp?), I enjoyed this story!

I'm glad this is the first in a series, because I really need to read more about these characters.

This book's main characters are Jackie, who unwittingly started a twitter feud with Ivy, a member of another band. When Jackie's band breaks up, she finds herself auditioning for Ivy's band. The way they work through their differences is, mostly, amazing.

I don't think this is a spoiler to say that I hope the next book is about C.J. and T

There is nothing I don't love about this novel!

I read it in one sitting. At times I felt as if I were part of the band and at other times, it was as if I were a groupie, totally fangirling. I really wish The Neon Fishnets were a real band!

As usual, Scarlett Knight's writing is fantastic and it shows in the story, which flows seamlessly. The characters are well developed. I loved Jackie and Ivy and their connection. The vibe between them basically jumped out of the page.

I can't wait for the se

Great story!

I enjoyed reading this book by Scarlett Knight. Content of story about musicians and one band member developing a drug habit, unfortunately true to real life. Cute romance and everything turns out okay. Keep your imagination flowing!

Scarlett Knight is a Texas native who enjoys being creative in a number of ways besides writing, including taking amateur nature photos with her iPhone at nearby parks, listening to movie soundtracks while coloring in her adult coloring books, and happily wandering around the local Dallas/Fort Worth art museums.
