Coming Home is the second installation of the Chandler Inn series. Though this is book #2, it is a great stand alone book.

Camilla ‘Cami’ Chandler’s grandmother Violet ‘Lettie’ passed away and left her the Chandler Inn, the Winery, and the gorgeous land. Cami comes home from France to the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon, back to the Inn where she grew up in. As a 24 year old fine arts major with no experience running an Inn, Cami surely is a natural as she enjoys welcoming and greeting her

This is book 2 in the Chandler Hill Inn series. I haven't read the first book. This is also a stand alone novel. Cami returns home from France when she inherits her grandmothers winery and Inn. What she finds is that her grandmother's money has been swindled in a ponzi scheme. To make matters worse her boyfriend breaks up with her. Cami is determined to make the Inn and winery a success. There are several plots that weave this all together. I loved the characters, I was rooting for Cami and the ...more

There is so much to love about this book. This is the 2nd book in the Chandler Hill Inn series. It can definitely be read as a stand alone, but I would highly encourage reading the first book to really understand the background of the full story. Lettie, Cami's grandmother passes away and leaves Chandler Hill Inn and Winery to Cami. With little knowledge on how to run an Inn she has some big challenges to overcome including financial and employee issues. Her character is strong and resilient. I ...more

I knew from the beginning of the book this was going to be a favorite because when Cami came to take over Chandler Hill Inn and Winery, she went to her grandmother's favorite spot. When she closed her eyes, the memories that came gave her the answers she needed. She didn't know a lot about the business but she had promised her grandmother she would take over the business.
Her grandfather was there to help her and she met Drew who only wanted to be friends which was perfect because her French

Linda' Book Obsession Reviews "Coming Home" by Judith Keim

"Coming Home" by Judith Keim is the second book in the Chandler Hill Inn series. I loved the first book, "Going Home" and think that is best to read both books to have a greater understanding of the significance of the story. "Coming Home" is an emotional, captivating, romantic, intriguing and intense novel. The themes for this novel are Fiction, Women's Fiction, and Romance. The timeline for this story is set in the present and goes to

I loved this book, although it is the second book in the series you could easily read it as A stand alone if you did not read the first one. That said I recommend you read both as book one was just as great.

Unfortunately shortly after her beloved Bonnie passes she learns that some bad investments made when she was ill by the "manager" were bad and

This second book in the Chandler Hill series was as engaging as the first, Going Home.

With all if this on her plate, how can she find time for love? Or, is it just possible that love will find her while she’s not looking?

Coming Home is the 2nd book in the Chandler Hill Inn series. Cami has inherited the inn after the death of her grandmother, and we follow the up and downs that happen as people she trusted don't appear to have been friends in the first place. This is a very enjoyable read, and will touch at all the heartstrings. You could read this book as a stand alone but in my personal opinion it is much better to have read the first book of the series before starting this one. I would definitely recommend ...more

There's an old saying, "one bitten, twice shy." Drew and Cami were both unlucky in love and were absolutely sure neither of them needed a long term relationship. Introduce a few unsavory characters, some unscrupulous business associates and the want of Cami to know who her father was, makes for a cast of characters written with a depth and style that makes for a truly enjoyable read. This is the second in the series and with any luck there will be more to follow. A must read for all fans of ...more

Thanks so much to the author, Kate Rock Book Tours, and Wild Quail Publishing for the complimentary finished copy of this book in exchange for my honest thoughts, and participation in this blog tour. All opinions are entirely my own.

Coming Home is the second book in the Chandler Hill Inn Series, written by author Judith Keim. Even though each book can be read as a stand-alone, I strongly recommend reading Going Home, the first book in the series. Going Home is filled with the Chandler family history, and it will help the reader to get a better understanding of the characters that reappear in Coming Home.

Cami Chandler was living in France when she received the devastating news that her beloved grandmother Lettie (Nonnee)

Coming Home #2 - This is such an interesting series and this book picks up after Going Home ends. I miss Lettie, but the rest of the cast is interesting, believable and likeable, except the baddies aren't too likeable.

The storylines from the past and present are well blended along with the clear descriptive writing style make it difficult to stop reading. I am happy that Ms. Keim does not use the worn out Stupidity Formula to create chaos but realistic events. These characters know how to live

I'll admit that the reason I picked this book at my favorite book review site is that it took place in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am from southern Oregon myself, and I am always irresistibly drawn to any book that takes place in my state. I haven't read any books by Judith Keim before, even the first book in the series, and I'm delighted to have found her—and it. I will have to go back and read that first book because I am now curious about it! I absolutely loved this story. Right away, ...more

"Cami thought of families. They weren’t necessarily made up of the people who were born into it. Some people left holes behind. Others filled them with new beginnings."

Cami comes home from France to care for her ailing Nonnee, nursing a broken heart because Bernard refused to join her. Her journey is heart wrenching as she eventually must deal with burying her beloved grandmother; the depletion of her Nonnee's carefully amassed investments; the opportunistic manager of her Inn; and renewed

I was fortunate to be able to read an ARC copy of the book. It is a great second book in the Chandler Inn Series. Cami returns from France to take over the running of the Inn. Cami is challenged in similar ways her grandmother was in taking over the Inn. Letti had to carry out the dreams of the Chandler men and Cami now has to see that her grandmothers dreams are carried forward for all of them. Firing the Inn's manager and discovering a kickback scheme are just the start of things to come.

I really liked Camilla Chandler. She showed such grace and strength as she endured the death of her Nonnee and took on the job of running the Chandler Hill Inn & Winery.
