She’s my best friend’s kid sister.
Only she’s not a kid any more.

As a forest ranger, I believe in the simple life. I prefer cabins to apartments, trails to freeways, and trees to people. My life is orderly, predictable, and quiet.

Until it’s hit by a woman I never saw coming — Hurricane June.

She’s fierce. She’s feisty. She has a laugh like the first day of spring, and she’s

I am totally in love with the Loveless brothers and with each new book, it’s that particular brother that I love the most. This time it’s Levi and holy heck! He’s absolutely perfect!

When June returns home after being laid off from her job, she’s ready to reinvent herself. The first thing on her list is to fall in love with nature. Of course, that’s not working out so well for her, and when her girlhood crush arrives to rescue her she’s wishing she was anywhere but there.

I think I am falling harder for this series with each new book. I just really love small town settings and big families. I love all their interactions and Rusty almost always steal the scenes when she's in it. She's such a cute kid with sass.

Levi is not anything like my favorite type of hero but I loved him like he was. I don't know how anyone can't love him. He just has that calm, gentlemanly trait about him. I'm not sure if I am even describing him right, I just think he will be universally

Favorite Quotes:

Levi is a mystery wrapped in an enigma stuffed into a crate labeled puzzle, and I don’t think he likes me.

There are reasons besides loyalty and friendship that June is a bad idea for me. Reasons like Silas has extensive combat training and Silas is not a reasonable human being when it comes to his little sister.

“June, there’s a bottle of your father’s pizzazz sauce on the door if you’d like some for the chili,” my mom says. “And I think there’s still some of his butt burner if

I really enjoyed this third entry in the Loveless series, as I had been eagerly awaiting Levi’s story.

June is a journalist who lost her job and her boyfriend all in the same day, and comes back home to regroup. She’s following the path laid out for her profession but she’s struggling to reinvent herself. First step - enjoy nature. Harder than it sounds, to be honest. Levi helps her out of a jam, one thing leads to another and yep, romance happens.

Their Firsts are well done, the tension

Break the Rules is, in my opinion, the funniest yet in the Loveless series. I cracked up at one point so loud my husband had to ask what was up. And that cover is yum.

Levi is such a genuine, don't hold back dude. The only reason he hesitates on anything is fear of getting his heart broken or losing someone he cares for. June is smart and determined and they are such a good match. I will say though that her brother is even more entertaining and I hope he gets a book. He deserves one.

Anywho, I had
Valeen Robertson (Live Thru Books Blog)

June's back home trying to love nature. So it makes sense that her brother's best friend, Levi, a forest ranger, is the one who rescues her when she needs it. Too bad for June that her crush on Levi has long been unrequited. But perhaps no longer unrequited because Levi's finding himself with feelings decidedly unbrotherly. And that's a problem because his best friend IS June's brother, and the man Levi considers his brother, too. He just knows Silas will not be cool with him being with his
This book was a treat! It is a feel-good romance that will have you laughing out loud, shaking your head in disbelief with humor and have you craving more and more.

I'm still fairly new to Roxie Noir, so I went into this book open-minded, I have heard nothing but raving reviews about her work and had read a book of hers not long ago, so I jumped at the opportunity to read and review and I'm so glad I did. There's nothing quite like a steamy, fun, feel-good kind of romance and Break the Rules was

I have read the other two books in the Loveless Brothers series and have been looking forward to Levi and June's story ever since her character was introduced in Best Fake Fiance. Well I can say that Break the Rules was 5 fantastic stars! Levi is the quiet, thoughtful, oldest Loveless and we finally get to know what is going on in that handsome head of his. June has been a part of his life since he was 6 years old. June's brother Silas is Levi's best friend and if there is one thing Levi values ...more

I am in love with the Loveless brothers, but here is something about Levi. I have been dying for his book because he is a mystery and I just needed to know more. Break the Rules exceeded all my expectations and then some. Not only am I absolutely in love with Levi, hello book boyfriend material, but I loved June and their story.

I just need to talk about Levi and Silas, who is June’s older brother and Levi’s best friend. Their friendship was different and unique and hands down one of the truest

Levi Loveless is hands down the sexiest and my most favorite Loveless! Levi and June had me rolling the whole book! Their story from start to finish is full of so much love, humor and shows how the bonds of “family” is everything!! And Levi makes following the rules look sooo good especially when he decides to break them!

I absolutely loved seeing all the loveless’ again! Their bickering and constant nosiness makes for the most amazing family! I love how these brothers are there for each other

With the power lines across her car and a tree fallen across the road in front of her, the last person June wanted to have save her is her brother's best friend. The same best friend she has had a crush on since she was a little girl. But little does she know that Levi has been fighting those same feelings for her. Add in a home nestled in the picturesque woods and sparks flying from more than just downed power lines and you get a heart warming tale of finding love when you least expect it. But ...more

more like 3.5 stars, but i’m feeling generous, so i’ll round it up :)

i normally mostly read romance involving the good old enemies-to-lovers trope — it really is my drug. so there was no way i’d end up liking it more than Violet and Eli’s story. i’m also not very inclined to the overprotective-brother and/or parents trope because it grates on my nerves in an alarming way, so i was just the slightest bit apprehensive about starting this.

but i really liked it!! a lot!!

The best Loveless story yet
5 stars

This is the third book in the Loveless Brothers Series (after Enemies With Benefits and Best Fake Fiance) and oh my stars, they just keep getting better and better. If you’ve been reading the series in order, you’ll be as excited as I was to read more about quiet and serious Levi meeting his match. If you’re new to the series you can read and enjoy this book as a standalone - but trust me, you’re going to want to put aside a few hours as you go back and binge

Break the Rules is a complete feel good book!! I was laughing, sighing, blushing, drawn into the mystery they were trying to solve, and felt like I got my exercise while hiking through the woods with Levi and June. This is the first Roxie Noir book I've ever read and it will not be the last. I absolutely loved it!

Break the Rules is the third book in the Loveless Brothers series, but I was able to jump right into this series without missing a thing. (Although I want to go back and read the first
Sheena ☆ Oh, the Sheenanigans!

Let's start off by saying I was not a big fan of the lead heroine Addy. Something about her rubbed me the wrong way, starting waaaay back from the beginning chapters of this novel. I would have rather read it from Reed's perspective than hers because she was overly emotional to the point that is became too annoying. Like girl dry your tears, we understand your cheating ex hurt you but whining every 5 minutes isn't going to change the fact that he cheated and let's not forget to mention her

This was the first story that I have read by Roxie Noir and it definitely won’t be my last. Beautifully written with a storyline that was interesting, complicated, as well as entertaining. It was sweet, heartwarming, funny, emotional and filled with sizzling heat, that was deliciously sensual. The characters are fabulously crafted and their relationship gloriously complicated. But the best part was that it was one of my favorite romance tropes, best friends’ little sister.

I’ll be honest. I’ve been waiting for Levi’s book since the very first. There is just something about the strong, silent type that intrigues me. Levi did not disappoint. His character appears on the surface to be very clear cut, but the depth of this man was profound. He’s the oldest Loveless brother, but has the least amount of experience with women. He doesn’t form attachments easily. He refuses to name the stray dog he took in because he’s subconsciously afraid the original owner will ...more

I think this was the best Loveless brothers book so far. This is the story of the oldest brother Levi who is portrayed as a loner, preferring the forest and nature to modern conveniences. It is also the story of June, a 29 year old who lives with her parents and acts and seems more like she is 22 than 29. This relationship with Levi forces her to grow up and take responsibility for her life. Before her relationship with Levi, she is “Junebug” the kid sister of Silas who is Levi’s best friend, ...more

Break the Rules is the third full novel in Roxie Noir's Loveless Brothers series. Although it can totally be read as a standalone I would recommend reading in order to get the full experience of all the Loveless brothers, family and friends as they make reappearance's in this book.

I'm a complete sucker for the older brothers best friend/bests friends little sister tropes they are my weakness and this was one of them. We get Levi

June gets a double whammy when stormy weather not only drops a tree and some live power lines in front of her car but Levi, the swoony best friend of her brother Silas to her growing predicament.
The man she has loved in secret for so long, rescuing the wayward journalist from herself- the sparks between them are off the charts hot! Unfortunately, they're not able to act upon the attraction that grows stronger by the minute.
Or can they?
A heart of hearts love story with laughter, bear hugs

I am so in love with everything about this. I've wanted Levi's book since the first Loveless brother book. There's just something about the quiet, unassuming serious Levi that I had to know more about. And there's a bit. He's not as quiet as he seems. He has a side to him. I liked him before. After this book I am in LOVE!!

I love June and who she is. She's fun, outgoing, not a fan of nature, and someone who totally knows what she wants. And, what she's always wanted was Levi Loveless. Only

Break The Rules sucked me in and didn't let go! I loved it from start to finish. I absolutely adored Levi and June's story. Levi rescues June, his best friend's little sister during a storm. She turns his life a bit upside down, and his feeling along with it. June has had a crush on Levi...well since forever. These two seem to click together so well. This book has it all, it was full of laughter, loving family, and great characters. This is a definite must read!

I love a good best friend's sister romance, and this was a great one!! Levi was so swoony. I loved that he tried his hardest to resist her (he didn't want to hurt his friend), but he was got over that and then he made the decision that she was worth the risk! June was so adorable!! I loved how quirky she was and how hard she worked to try new things and "reinvent" herself.
Such an amazing book! I absolutely loved it!
Full Disclosure: This was my first book by Roxie Noir and I LOVED IT. This book had me from page 1.
Sexy, long haired, nature loving, dedicated brother and best friend leading man
Beautiful, unlucky in love, career driven, adorably sexy leading lady
Over the top, possessive, beautifully damaged older brother
Crazy but loving family
A bromance to die for
Forbidden Romance goodness
Off the charts chemistry
Sexy, sexy times
Adventure in the wild.
All of the above and so much more. Once I started this book,

Levi has rocketed to the top of my Roxie Noir hero’s, knocking Stone from Convict off his pedestal. Levi’s love (bro love) for Silas amidst his conflict about his feeling for June, Silas’s sister, is endearing, but his growing love for June… swoon-worthy.

Levi and June have known each other since forever, and June has crushed on Levi, since … well, forever. With June back home, jobless, their paths are bound to cross, and Levi starts to have these thoughts about her. Thoughts her brother would

Small town setting
Great protagonists
Large extended family
Low/med angst level
Friends to lovers
Bother’s best friend

I love a good bother’s best friend romance because of the push and pull between the MCs. Roxie Noir not only delivers that with Break the Rules, but she does it so well that the story doesn’t need over the top angst. It’s just a good romance all by itself.

Levi was all the things. I couldn’t help but to adore the man. He’s the strong silent type, but man he packs a romantic

This is the perfect romcom! Levi and June are adorably funny together and she has always wanted him but he’s off limits cause of her brother until Levi ends up rescuing her and neither is sure they can stop themselves even if they wanted to. Super cute story

She's applied for nearly 100 jobs, and she's been rejected from all of them. The Loveless Brother’s newest installment is a refreshing romance set in a small town. It’s sexy, fulfilling, and charming read to warm up your rainy days. I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to fill in this story like Levi and June did. They have amazing chemistry, undeniable sexual tension, and delightful passionate moments. I greatly enjoyed my time reading this book.

June returns to her hometown determined to make changes in her life. After a job loss and a cheater ex, she's ready to
