This is one of the finest, most engaging SOE accounts I've yet read. Recommended for those with an interest in the French Resistance during WWII, and anyone who wants to know more about clandestine organizational operations behind enemy lines.

I've read so many books about SOE agents that I thought I knew them all. But I didn't know Poirier or most of those he worked with. Thank God for him and all his fellow agents who volunteered and risked their lives for us.
