Let me ask you a question:

If someone is vying for your spot on a team and just so happens to injure you during practice, would you believe it was on purpose?

Word around campus is . . . it was no accident.

That injury has cost me everything; my starting position, my junior year—and the draft. Now, I’m a senior fresh off recovery, struggling to find my groove, until the d

I can't say enough just how much, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!!! This book is probably one of my flavorist one she has written so far!!! I smiled and swooned and holy crap did I fall in love reading this book. Meghan owns most of my top book boyfriends, and damn another is added, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR......

Carson Stone has one more chance to make the draft and he's starting out the season with one hell of a flop. Angry with his circumstances, he doesn't realize he runs into the solution to all his problems in the dining hall panini line until it's too late. Now he needs to try to figure out how to

Milly’s interesting, different, and possibly dangerous to my heart. I can feel it deep down. She was brought into my life for a reason and not just to help my swing, but something so much more than that.

If you’re looking for your next fun and sexy five star read, then ”THE DUGOUT” is the book for you. I love a good sports romance/romantic comedy, with just the perfect dose of angst to put me through a little emotional torture as well. Not on

OH MY GAWD! I smiled like a loon reading this book. It is the best I’ve ever read by this author!! And that’s saying something, because some of her previous heroes own pieces of my heart. However, I love Love LOVE Carson and Milly. I didn’t think MQ would ever top my boyfriend Knox and then she goes and creates this PERFECTION. I can’t even with how much I adored this book!

The Dugout had me completely in my feelings! I smiled. I laughed out loud. I f

The Dugout by Meghan Quinn was a hit! It was a mix of humor, angst, bromance, love, and baseball ⚾.

Carson Stone was by far my favorite hero from Meghan's books thus far and that's making a statement as I've loved most of her heroes. But Carson, gah there is just something about him that will steal your heart completely!

Carson is first introduced in The Locker Room. He's Knox's best friend and an overall hilarious man. In this book he is more than laughs, he's sweet and really just an ama
Meghan Quinn follows up her sweet and heartfelt sports romance, The Locker Room, with a story that’s even sweeter, deeper and more swoon worthy.

In The Dugout, we meet Milly Potter The Baseball Whisperer, shy and awkward kinesiology major who eats, breathes and knows everything baseball but hides behind baggy clothes and an ugly fisherman’s hat. That is until The Carson Stone rudely talked to her in the Panini line, then dismissed her help in the weight room.

But after the injury that cost Carson

We got to meet Carson Stone in The Locker Room. He is the best friend of Knox and I for one was fascinated to know more about him and couldn't help but be ecstatic when he was getting his own book. What I first thought of him, was a happy go lucky college student trying his best to become a major league Ball player. What I discovered about him during this book, was so much more and deeper. This second chance romance is one of family commitment, loyalty and forgiveness. Its a lesson we could all ...more

Carson Stone has his future mapped out and he’s determined to get there. Carson plans to get drafted into the MLB his senior year of college with his two best friends, but when a sports injury takes him out of the game for a period of time, he’s left in the dust. And now that he can play again, Carson’s game is off and he can’t seem to hit a ball to save his life.

Milly Potter knows baseball more than most. With three older brothers who played, Milly was immersed in the sport growing up and disc

5 Meet me in the Dugout Stars

I don't know how many different ways that I can say that I LOVE this author. There is just something about her ability to create characters that check all the boxes of perfect as well as create a story that sucks me in. I feel like I am watching a movie whenever I read her stories. They are so well done that every description becomes an image in my mind, every word becomes a conversation that I feel like I am there hearing, and every emotion is one that I feel in my

Fantastic Female Lead!

It's no secret that Meghan Quinn writes awesome characters, especially her females. They're always funny with a quick wit and can stand toe to toe any day with the guys. This character Millie, she is the best I've read yet!

Millie is a baseball brainiac. Growing up with three brothers all involved in the game, she followed thier lead and lives and breathes baseball. Not a total girly girl, Millie is more comfortable hanging with the guys throwing the ball around and stats as

One of my top reads of 2019

Meghan Quinn is one of my all-time favorite authors.  Her writing, her beautiful mind, her storytelling abilities...she has it all.

The range of emotions that I went through while reading The Dug Out was immense.  I LOVED everything about it.  A college-aged sports romance has been on my kindle quite a bit lately and Meghan Quinn is by far the best.

Another home run for this author. Carson is a college baseball star who, after some time off due to an injury, is having a hard time getting his mojo back. Enter Milly. She is a bit of a tomboy, who knows more about baseball than just about anyone (even the pro players.) After a few bad run-ins, he finally decides to see what she's got (in the form of training.) Of course things start getting warmer between the two from there on out. I love these characters. He is confident (yet not arrogant or ...more

The Dugout is so amazing it’s honestly hard to explain it in the small amount of words instagram allows. It’s a sports romance with so much heart.

Carson is a dream…he’s funny, talented and a little bit damaged. Baseball is his life until an injury threatens his future. He realizes Milly can save his career if he just trusts her. And in doing so he finds more than he ever expected. Not going to lie, at some points in the book I hated Carson; however I dare you to read this book and not fall comp

Carson Stone had it all planned out. He was going to get drafted with two of his best friends to play in the MLB, and he was going to have it all. Until a teammate injured him in practice and took him out for the season. Now Carson is back from the injury and struggling to find his groove again. This year is his last chance to get drafted, and he will do anything to make it happen.

Milly Potter knows baseball, she loves it, she breathes it, and she is closer to baseball than some people think. S

It will take you on the ride of your life - from doubling over laughing, to being on fire from their passion; then before you know what hits you, tears will be streaming down your face! This book weaves an amazing tale from start to finish. Another home run for Meghan Quinn!! ❤⚾

So when I started reading this book my first thought, “it’s trying too hard to be funny.”

But it gets so much better!!!!!! Just read past the first chapter and you’ll enjoy it.

I seriously laughed out loud and cried like a baby in this book. Hands down my favorite Meghan Quinn book now.

When I first started reading I thought, “great this is going to be fluffy and trying to hard funny” but man was a wrong. This book was so amazing.

I loved everything about this book from start to finish! Meghan Quinn's style gets me every time. She sure knows how to combine heart, soul and humor seamlessly within a wonderful story line. Carson & Milly's story is somewhat of a roller coaster ride so hold on tight it's a heck of a ride. Awkward tomboy Milly, who I just adore, comes into Carson's life when he is in a serious slump. Ever since being hurt last season and not playing, Carson, the sexy second baseman, can't seem to get his sw ...more

Ugh I loved this story especially the first part of it. Sports romance is some of my all time fav.

Milly is a bit of a baseball nerd. I LOVE her. She is such a contradiction in so many ways. She has a tough no nonsense attitude especially when it comes to baseball. Add her somewhat awkwardness around guys she likes, well it added several chuckle moments. I also have to say I love women who have the potential to break the glass ceiling in certain professions. GO GIRL!

The Dugout by Meghan Quinn
“YEEESSSS, 5 stars”

I floved The Dugout, then again, I am also a fellow baseball junkie. Carson and Milly were life. Quinn completely killed it with these two. I saw their love story playing out in my mind like a movie and I didn’t want it to end. If you take a chance on The Dugout I hope you love it as much as I did, and if not your crazy.

Meghan Quinn delivers one heck of a sports romance with her new release The Dugout. Back again with the Brentwood Baseball team in the heart of baseball legend country, Quinn tells the story of a girl defying all odds that had me squealing with anticipation from cover to cover. Not since watching A League of Their Own as a little girl have I rooted more for a woman to take over baseball like Milly Potter did!

And just like that, i have flown through another fantastic Meghan Quinn book.

Each time I pick one up, I am never disappointed and Meghan always draws me in with her words, makes me fall in love with her men and want to be her sassy women and Carson & Milly were no exception.

Milly was certainly different. She's a complete nut but is smart and funny and totally obsessed with baseball. With three older brothers who either play or are involved in the sport, there is nothing that she does not kno

The queen of humor, heart and swoons has done it again!!

The Dugout is the story of Carson and Milly and what a fantastic story it is!

Carson is a baseball player that has been through the wringer and can't get his groove back.

Milly is the quirky, shy and savant of baseball.

When they meet, it was awkward, it was stuttered but boy when things come together, wowza the sparks fly.

I fell in love hard with both Carson and Milly, I think they are one of the top couples for me.  And even though I do

In baseball, three strikes and you’re out. Carson almost missed his chance with Milly because of a few “errors” on his part. He knew full well that luck had not been on his side, and his so called “accident” changed his life and messed with his head. That was strike one. Because of this, he developed a short temper and was rude to everyone, including Milly. Carson had no idea that Milly would become his healing angel and after the run ins he had with her, he knew he had wiffed and struck out big ...more

Um, where can I find myself a Carson Stone? Holy moly I loved this book! I couldn't put it down! Carson is everything, and Milly is the cutest! I feel that Milly is a really relatable character, and I truly connected with her, even though I know nothing about baseball.

I was invested in this story and really enjoyed watching it unfold. Carson is a fantastic male lead and Milly was extremely likeable. I started getting scary feeling

Damn Meghan, you did it again. This book was absolutely EVERY-FUCKING-THING!!!

Carson and Milly meet in college, their senior year. Carson, mega prospect on the baseball team, about to get drafted. But still off his game since the accident during practice.

Milly, shy and a bit awkward girl, who knows baseball and stats and everything down to a tee. Coach for 8 year olds, dreams to be a coach for a team her own age. Can she help Carson to get back on track?

Gosh, their story had me laughing so much

This book was so good and I loved every second even when I got gut punched with a bunch of emotions. Carson is a star baseball player trying to make it to the big league after an injury. Milly is the sister to a major league baseball player and baseball coaching genius that has high hopes of paving the way for women coaching male dominated sports, specifically baseball. So when Milly and Carson bump heads and challenge each other it is clear that they have chemistry but

What a truly beautiful coming of age college romance. I loved every single character from Milly and Carson to their family and friends, a complete feel good romance. I was hooked, I was mesmerised (and I know nothing about baseball), I was laughing out loud, I was willing their friendship to become so much more. Their chemistry was off the charts, the writing and the story were oh so good. I loved that Milly came out of her shell and became strong and confident, she was a real kick@$$ character ...more

This story. I laughed out loud. I cried a lot. I swooned, then laughed some more. Milly is a baseball genius. She knows her stuff and she should because she grew up around baseball. Her brother is baseball royalty. Carson is trying to be baseball royalty, but someone tried to decide his fate for him.

Milly was the answer to Carson's problems, but she's the last person he'd expect. Their chance meeting in the panini line to the second-chance meeting in the weight room sealed their fate. Milly cou

The Dugout is one book you just HAVE TO READ. At certain parts I was laughing so hard I had tears streaming down my face and couldn't see the words in front of me. I was flying through this one. I was really loving Carson and Milly so much, they were killing it in the banter and chemistry department. Everything was going along so well for me, I was having so much fun and the pickle part had me laughing out loud, then the twist came.
