Let me ask you a question:

If someone is vying for your spot on a team and just so happens to injure you during practice, would you believe it was on purpose?

Word around campus is . . . it was no accident.

That injury has cost me everything; my starting position, my junior year—and the draft. Now, I’m a senior fresh off recovery, struggling to find my groove, until the d

Milly’s interesting, different, and possibly dangerous to my heart. I can feel it deep down. She was brought into my life for a reason and not just to help my swing, but something so much more than that.

If you’re looking for your next fun and sexy five star read, then ”THE DUGOUT” is the book for you. I love a good sports romance/romantic comedy, with just the perfect dose of angst to put me through a little emotional torture as well. Not on

I can't say enough just how much, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!!!! This book is probably one of my flavorist one she has written so far!!! I smiled and swooned and holy crap did I fall in love reading this book. Meghan owns most of my top book boyfriends, and damn another is added, I LOVE THIS AUTHOR......

Milly & Carson are perfectly written and their story completely plays out flawlessly! Sweet overload, tissue worthy, laugh out loud, I honestly can't say how this book could have been any better. T

OH MY GAWD! I smiled like a loon reading this book. It is the best I’ve ever read by this author!! And that’s saying something, because some of her previous heroes own pieces of my heart. However, I love Love LOVE Carson and Milly. I didn’t think MQ would ever top my boyfriend Knox and then she goes and creates this PERFECTION. I can’t even with how much I adored this book!

The Dugout had me completely in my feelings! I smiled. I laughed out loud. I f

The Dugout by Meghan Quinn was a hit! It was a mix of humor, angst, bromance, love, and baseball ⚾.

Carson Stone was by far my favorite hero from Meghan's books thus far and that's making a statement as I've loved most of her heroes. But Carson, gah there is just something about him that will steal your heart completely!

Carson is first introduced in The Locker Room. He's Knox's best friend and an overall hilarious man. In this book he is more than laughs, he's sweet and really just an a

I’m going to be honest. Slow burn is hard for me, by Meghan Quinn is the master of it. It NEVER feels like a slow burn. I’m so enraptured with the romance of it all that I’m never bored. I never want to put the book down and walk away, and this series of standalones is quickly becoming my very favorite one from Meghan Quinn.

Carson and Milly together are just perfect. I love them together and individually, which is often rare in the romance world. I could

Meghan Quinn follows up her sweet and heartfelt sports romance, The Locker Room, with a story that’s even sweeter, deeper and more swoon worthy.

In The Dugout, we meet Milly Potter The Baseball Whisperer, shy and awkward kinesiology major who eats, breathes and knows everything baseball but hides behind baggy clothes and an ugly fisherman’s hat. That is until The Carson Stone rudely talked to her in the Panini line, then dismissed her help in the weight room.

We got to meet Carson Stone in The Locker Room. He is the best friend of Knox and I for one was fascinated to know more about him and couldn't help but be ecstatic when he was getting his own book. What I first thought of him, was a happy go lucky college student trying his best to become a major league Ball player. What I discovered about him during this book, was so much more and deeper. This second chance romance is one of family commitment, loyalty and forgiveness. Its a lesson we could all ...more

Meghan Quinn's books are my total kindle crack and this book is yet another home run. *hehe see what I did there?*

Oh Carson how I love thee and the total swoon you bring. I really shouldn't have had any doubt with you being besties with my man Knox. But oh yeah, when he got his head out of his butt and went to win the girl major major swooning.

As much as I love Carson Milly is probably my favorite though. She is adorkable, and awkward, and a baseball bad*ass. Seriously love her.

Oh my God, this book is phenomenal! Meghan Quinn created NA masterpiece that will steal your heart! The Dugout is a perfect college sports romance, a little funny, sometimes intense and a hell of a lot sexy! Carson and Milly’s story warmed my heart and I couln’t get enough of them. “Our connection dives way past the surface and is going past the layers to the very core of our souls.”

The Dugout is the latest sports romance from author Meghan Quinn and it follows the story of Milly & Carson. Right off the bat, Milly and Carson couldn’t be more opposite. After suffering and injury, Carson is struggling to get back into his groove. He’s moody and standoffish towards everyone. Who knew that when Carson would bump in to Milly, his whole world would be tu

Put me in Coach!

Carson is having a rough senior year. All of his best friends are drafted but him. An injury has pushed back his pending possibility draft into the majors, so he is angry, and can't get his groove back to where it was before the injury.

Milly knows baseball! She is soooo soooo awkward, its sooo cringing makes you speechless. This girl, I love her. She's a guys girl, the best friend, so she's used to the noogie, the friendzone and all that jazz. After a couple of awkward embarrassi

Ugh I loved this story especially the first part of it. Sports romance is some of my all time fav.

Milly is a bit of a baseball nerd. I LOVE her. She is such a contradiction in so many ways. She has a tough no nonsense attitude especially when it comes to baseball. Add her somewhat awkwardness around guys she likes, well it added several chuckle moments. I also have to say I love women who have the potential to break the glass ceiling in certain professions. GO GIRL!

Carson Stone had it all planned out. He was going to get drafted with two of his best friends to play in the MLB, and he was going to have it all. Until a teammate injured him in practice and took him out for the season. Now Carson is back from the injury and struggling to find his groove again. This year is his last chance to get drafted, and he will do anything to make it happen.

Milly Potter knows baseball, she loves it, she breathes it, and she is closer to baseball than some people think. S

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.

Carson is recovering from an injury and physically he is ready to play, but mentally he is struggling. As a last ditch effort he takes Milly up on her offer to tell him what he's doing wrong. Since he's tried everything else, Carson figures he may as well listen to what she has to say, so imagine his surprise when she has the answer he has been looking for.

This story. I laughed out loud. I cried a lot. I swooned, then laughed some more. Milly is a baseball genius. She knows her stuff and she should because she grew up around baseball. Her brother is baseball royalty. Carson is trying to be baseball royalty, but someone tried to decide his fate for him.

Milly was the answer to Carson's problems, but she's the last person he'd expect. Their chance meeting in the panini line to the second-chance meeting in the weight room sealed their fate. Milly cou

So much love for The Dugout by Meghan Quinn.
The storyline is well written, the plot entertaining and my interest was held from start to end.

I loved Carson and Milly, from their first meeting I was hooked. I loved their banter, their friendship, their love for baseball and I loved how sweet and loving they were.
They made me laugh, swoon, laugh some more and they made my heart ache.
Carson and Milly share a deep love and I was very happy they were able to find their way back to each other

Omg this story. Carson and milly are so good together. I devoured this story and want more of them!
I feel like I'm at that point in my life where Meghan Quinn could write like a nonsensical haiku and I'd love it and give it all the stars. She's just so good.

There are a lot of reasons why I love the books that Meghan Quinn has recently put out, and it's something I've said time and again, but she just really knows how to write good, genuine romances. I love seeing how she can take all the stereotypes found in this genre and almost flip the script on them, making them feel immensely different
Readers find themselves back at Brentwood University as opposites attract when a baseball player tries to return to the top after a catastrophic injury delayed his plans for the future. With his ballplaying in a slump though he soon finds himself in dire need of the help of a shy girl, one who comes from a family of baseball royalty, and together their lives are changed irrevocably.

Carson Stone was once on the fast track to the baseball draft when an accident during practice changed everything.
Meghan Quinn you did it again! The Dugout was a companion novel to her previous book The Locker Room which I really really enjoyed! The Dugout follows Knox Gentry's best friend who we met The Locker Room Carson Stone. Carson Stone is in a slump after a big injury and he may have found the person who can fix his big slump! She just happens to be a girl named Milly who he ran into in the panini line!

Carson and Milly were both really awesome characters and I enjoyed both of them greatly! I especial

I'm sitting here, pouting like a baby. I'm talking lip puckered and everything. AAAHHHHHHH! The Dugout, I am not kidding when I say for the first 3/4 of the book I was like, there is NEVER going to be another book that will revival this one, stick a fork in me and call me done, but I am so sad to say, that the last 1/4 didn't measure up. Uhhh, it kills me to say that. So, I will explain what I loved, and what took my review from a 5 to a 3.5.

When I saw that this was ready for pre-order, I jumped right on it. I could not wait to read this one. The Locker Room was a great book. I loved Knox in that book. He was the sweetest. But, Carson was by far my most favorite character in that book and I so hoped he'd get his own book because I knew his story would be epic. And it was.
