It was very informative. It took me about 4 days to master the caterpillar before then proceeding to learn chords. No pain no gain! After a few years of playing around with an old guitar, we (my dad and I) decided that it was time to actually LEARN something. He bought the book, and because he actually spent money on it, I couldn't possibly just waste it all by doing nothing! Well, overall, this book makes learning the guitar look simpler than it actually is, which I suppose is good. It's not until you try it that you learn the tips of your fingers will burn.

Learning to play is hard no matter how simple the book is or how much it helps break it all down. And my poor fingers.
