書中許多都是學習設計時就已知道的基本功，不過溫故知新總是很舒服的一種學習經驗。構圖能幫助創作者透過畫面將某種感受更快更準確地傳達給觀眾，啟發人們對美的終極追尋，並喚醒深埋在記憶中的吉光片羽，不過這些標準守則在人工智能的時代來臨後，都將慢慢如傳統手工藝一般慘遭市場機制擠壓到一個小角落裡負隅頑抗，人類感性裡講不清說不明的灰色地帶一朝被電腦運算研究透徹看穿看破後，藝術創作肯定會在新的象限裡出現新的定義，被餵食被圈養的價值觀與美感遲早鋪天蓋地襲來，到那時我們還真能享受或感受真正的創作自由嗎？

While there a books aplenty on photography, this to me is the ultimate reference book on the nuts and bolts of seeing and creating an image.

This book is an essential for anyone who wishes to create photographic art in the camera, not on a computer.
