Meh.

Piper and Sloan go to Gotham Middle School. Unlike Gotham High - which releases a week before this one - with a complex plot and complex characters that immediately kept my attention, Anti/Hero fell flat.

Came highly recommended by our resident 10 year-old co-op bookstore member and it didn't disappoint. This was a funny, action-packed story about the importance of teamwork and recognizing we all have different strengths and weaknesses.

I've always loved the body swapping trope, and this one is really well done! Sets up a good backstory for characters who are adorable, realistic, and somewhat traumatized. The art is fantastic, especially the character design!

I read this as an Advanced Reader.

It’s a cute take on what it means to be a hero/villain. I really enjoyed it. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. It left me wanting to learn more about these characters so that’s a good thing. I’ll definitely recommend it to people.
