Is there such a thing as free will? Or is everything determined by the contraints of history, culture, self, economics, and a seemingly eternal number of factors over which we have little or no control? In other words, does determinism trump free will? This book tackles the debate, and does it very well. Since there is no real resolution, the reader must choose sides, which is a kind of free will, isn't it?
